Had my roof and eavstroughs done by gold star roofing#1 inc. we got 6 estimates done by all the top roofing company’s and gold star was the only company that is giving out a 15 year labour warranty covered by a insurance company and covers 220 km winds. To use we seen the difference and hope this will help other home owners under stand the quality they put in to the roofs gold star does. We got ice&water new drip edge and the whole roof covered with the synthetic under treatment all mad by the shingle brand we picked. We think you get what you pay for and with gold star we saved money but got a better life time shingle. We like the Canadian made shingles they have a extra tar line on them. We think that helps plus they take the time to 7 nail each shingle. Thank you so much gold star roofing for teaching us how much better a roof can be.

Had my roof completely reshingled last week by Gold Star Roofing. From the get go, Jeff was excellent to deal with and took the time (even though he’s extremely busy) to talk and answer all of my questions. The price was great and the crew was very professional, polite and hard working. They did an amazing job cleaning up afterwards too, which was important to me because I have kids running around the lawn. The job was done on time and not rushed. Jeff made sure that I was completely satisfied with the work. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of a new roof. My neighbour had his done right after mine by the same crew. We were both thoroughly impressed. In this business especially, if you go with the wrong company you’ll have headaches for a long time. These guys know what they’re doing.

They came the next day after I called them to give me a price and the price was better then the other 4 I got. Gold star gave us a 15 year labour warranty other company's gave 5 or 10 year on the labour. We got Canadian made shingles bp a lot bigger then all the other shingles and thicker witch I found to be a Way better. The synthetic under treatment and ice&water and metal drip edge is the best way to do a roof no company was putting all that in the price. Jeff and his team at Gold Star knocked this one out of the park, from start to finish an excellent job all around. Right from the start with the quote package which list all the information including WSIB documents we could tell we were on the right path with this company. Jeff came to our house and explained everything , if fact he spent a lot of time explaining the why's and why not of roofing and the different products. what stood out to me the most besides their commitment to safety was how he talked about the warranties and how he was the one going after the OEM for his customers. Work started on time with a great crew who were very respectful on our property , the bin was dropped of on wood and each day the area was cleaned up. Good constant communication during the job always let us know where they were and kept us up to date on the completion time. Let's face it roofing is a huge expense and we want value and well, perfection when it is completed. Gold star delivered on both in spades. We would not hesitant in the least to recommend Jeff and his team. Thank you we appreciate the extras and making our home complete again.

I had organized to have the tenants park their cars elsewhere so they would have ample parking and to have access to their unit to assess some water damage. Called on the day of the wind storm to fix a few shingles that had flown off and they sent a guy the next morning. My roof was fixed up by 830am the next day. Very happy they came so quickly. Cheers!

I was impressed with Gold Star Roofing’s Google reviews and took a chance. Let’s just say, Gold Star Roofing is now my go-to roofing company without a doubt! Jeff was an absolute pleasure to chat with in my initial call. Jeff came out right away, was able to replace just the piece of flashing that was ripped off (didn’t try to tell me I needed to replace more than I really did) and the job was completed at a cost lower than initially thought. Paid $325 for a tiny roof patch that literally took 10 minutes to fix. A couple months later it starts peeling off. They won't come and fix it. He said we were taking money out of his own pocket and away from his kids. I highly do not recommend this company.

Jeff and his crew did an awesome job on my roof. They treated my tenants with respect and completed the job in a timely manner. They made sure the property was cleaned up everyday and at the end of the job. Jeff quoted the job quickly and made time in his schedule to get my roof completed quickly as I had a minor leak from the recent wind/rain storms. Jeff explained the roof system he uses thoroughly and explained the reasons behind everything. He only uses top of the line products, so you can be sure that your roof will last. Jeff's price was extremely fair and actually came in cheaper than I expected for the quality he delivers. Although I forget his name, Jeff's foreman was great to work with and my tenants loved him.
