One was D’Angelo & Sons Roofing The representative, Jennifer Faria was great. She represented her company well: from her personal appearance to her sales technique. Her personality is more than pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with her. I only gave 4 stars because I didn’t use D’Angelo & Sons Roofing to do the job. The company estimates came out consistently several thousands of dollars above that of another company I know that did my roof 22+ years previously. The transferable Warranty provided by D’Angelo & Sons Roofing is wonderful. If I was staying in my home I may have chosen them. However I am retired and selling my home to downsize. They stripped, resheeted and shingled in less than 6hours, and when they were done there was no trace that they had ever been there...other than the spectacular new roof. Awesome customer service, very professional. Went above and beyond the quote, fixing other parts of my roofing system that were damaged. I had an ice dam on my sun room this past winter and the need for a new roof. Glenn explained my options for a new flat roof and skylights in detail, how it would tie in to my existing roof, answered all my questions and then gave his recommendations and quote (which was very reasonable). When spring came, installers came out and worked very professionally to install the flat roof and fix other parts of my main roof. Glenn came and checked out the roof - he spent 30 minutes making sure everything was as it should be and wouldn't accept even a call out fee as there was no work to be done. We were supposed to get our gutters/fascia/soffit installed in what we were told would take around 3 days, however when it came time to do it, the work was fragmented and therefor took longer than expected. I wasn’t going to give them a good review at first, however Carlos ultimately took over as our new project manager and stepped up and explained what was happening and how they were going to resolve everything. He worked really hard to make things better, and made sure we were ultimately 100% satisfied before considering all the work completed. Their electrician, Rocky, was also involved which absolutely made a big difference for us too. He is definitely an asset for the company (as well as Carlos). In the end, although the delays caused grief for everyone, we are satisfied with the workmanship of the workers and with the dedication that Carlos and Rocky put forth. They truly stepped up and made things work out well for us. And the new gutters/fascia/soffit look GREAT. Because of that, we are very happy with the results . :) Thank you!

BE AWARE THIS COMPANY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY ON REPAIRS (eg. Roof leaks) Last year spring, I noticed a leak on the ceiling of the garage, which appears only during/after heavy rain. D’Angelo inspected the roof, and they could not find the source of the leak. Even, not knowing where the leak was coming from, they pointed out that the windows were most likely the problem for the leak so re-flashing two windows and caulking around should fix it. Re-flashing and caulking were done but I never knew if the leak was fixed because they never performed a water test (e.g. pouring water around windows). I was told to give a call if the problem shows up. On the third week of January 2020, there was a heavy rain, and the leak showed up again. D’Angelo sent a technician for inspection but unfortunately, he could not find the source of the leak, and he said, “Sorry, I cannot fix a problem if I do not know where the problem is coming from”. I suggested to pour water to identify where the leak is coming from. So, we pour water and it was identified that the leak was coming from the siding (where roof joint the siding). Once the leak was identified in that area, we could not proceed further with the testing on the windows until the leak on the siding is fixed. As a result, we could not identify if water will leak or not, through the windows. Technician agrees with me that based on the stain patterns on the dry wall, it is most likely that that leak was on the same spot as before. This indicates that last year, the leak-fix-job was done poorly, because the inspection prior to the job was not done correctly. Consequently, this led to do the job to fix the windows for the leak (which may not have been necessary to begin with in the first place). At this point, nobody (including D’Angelo Co. and myself) know where exactly the leak is coming from and/or if the windows are leak-free. I would like to add that the last technician sent for inspection was a really good person and very collaborative. After a phone call with Jamie Stapleton (Sale Manager) he said that he is not going to send crew to work on the siding. So be aware that this company do not take responsibility of small fix/repairs and they walk away taking your money without fixing the problem.

From our first meeting with Mark, through our service experience with Jamielynn and the installation team, to our follow up with Chris, we had nothing short of five star service. Mark showed up on time, as promised, and was armed with knowledge, experience and a spirit of generosity. He listened to our concerns and challenges with the issues we were experiencing and offered a range of solutions. He was honest and direct with his presentation and answered all questions that he had. When we mentioned other concerns, he was quick to provide more information and materials. Jamielynn was a great project manager. She was quick to respond to any messages but we truly never had to reach out. She was on top of letting us know about any changes and direct in her communication. The installation team arrived on time, did a great install (which fixed our issues!) and were lovely to deal with. They did a great job! We found the pricing more than fair considering the quality of both service and product. The follow up call with Chris was also great! Called him to remind him and he said it would be forthcoming. No quote. Sent him a reminder a couple weeks later. No response.

Had D'Angelo do my roof in January. They did a fine job. Salesman Jeremy told me that he would give me a good price on eavestroughs afterwards when I had built my garage which I recently completed. I called him back to give me a quote. 4 pieces of eavestrough and 2 doors to cap I was quoted $3800+ tax. I recently had the same job completed by another contractor who did the work for under $1000. Who also told me what I paid for the roof was purely gouging. Do yourself a favor and shop around. The prices here are outrageous. Jeremy was also extremely rude to me when I told him his price was too high. He began insulting the roof and fascia job I did on my garage because "it isn't the way they do it." Even though everything was done properly. Take a break bud.

I contracted with D’Angelo’s to replace my eavestroughs, soffits and facia. For the past 2.5 days, the first crew removed my old eaves, soffits and facia and installed the new facia and soffits. I was more than satisfied with the workmanship of the 2 man crew, Frank and Kirby. These 2 guys were gentlemen and respectful of my property. Their skill set is second to none and, they did a great job of explaining what they were doing whenever I asked. I am very impressed so, I rank this phase of the job as PERFECT. D’Angelo and Sons is fortunate to have these 2 gentlemen on their team and, they did a great job of representing D’Angelo’s overall. Now, I hope I have the same pleasure working with the eavestrough installers as well.

I needed to have roof replaced this year. I called to get a quotation. They were here the very next day. Jeremi checked the roof and then explained their services and showed me the shingles that were available. Then he gave me quotation. I had originally planned to get at least 3 quotes before deciding but because of the timely and professional way it was handled I decided to give them the business. They had to order the products but due to rain they had to also put it off by a day. Carlos got in touch with me and advised me that he was in charge and I could contact him directly if I had any questions. I was told when the work would start. They arrived at 8.00 a.m and the work was completed by about 6.00 p.m. the same day. The group that worked on it were very efficient. They cleaned up everything after they finished. Carlos came back and checked the roof took photographs of the completed work and sent them to me. He was a pleasure to deal with. I am happy with the work and more than happy with the way it was accomplished. I have had several compliments from neighbours who had been watching the process. It was a pleasure to deal with Carlos and his team.

It all started in Sept 24, 2021 when Josh came over to give us a quote for the eavestrough installation. He is a very nice and easy person to talk to. We have a steel roof and Josh suggested a lot of stuffs that makes sense and gave us a competitive price so we were able to close the deal on the same day. He scheduled the installation couple weeks after. The project manager, Carlos Sr., and his team Nigel & Richard are very approachable and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and concerned with a smile. They clean up after they’ve finished with the job. I express my dislike to the metal panel that was connected from the downspout and the drain pipe, so Carlos went out to buy a connector to change it himself. Thanks to Jay and crew for the installation on first thing on a Monday morning. They did their job, and were done in under three hours, if that. And had good advice and installed an extra I didn't know I needed. It took a few weeks to get all the materials but it's summer and it's their busy time. I only needed one side of the eavestrough replaced. They had to match the colour of the existing eavestrough because to match the existing gutter on the other side (which is most likely why it took several weeks to get to completion. And the did it all without having to come to the house beforehand (they check out the property on Google Maps, cool and creepy at the same time). There was no upselling or gladhanding salesperson (unlike the previous installer who was all smiles until I asked him to follow up on repairing deficiencies -- the gutters leaked like sieves). His wife has a gutter mouth, btw. Thanks to all at D'Angelo. One piece of advice for D'Angelo Roofing: you might want to replace the D'Angelo jingle with something else on when a customer is put on hold on the phone. It gets old real quick after more than a couple of minutes. Good job. I'm pleased. And when the first rainstorm hit after the installation, the gutters did what they are supposed to do. D'Angelo & Sons Roofing @ Exteriors is an excellent, top-notch company to work with. Josh (Sales Consultant) came by my home, looked at the state of my roof, explained the issues, provided advice and worked out the contract. However, it was the extra step he took to look into my crawl space, check to see if there were any deficiencies/damage (of which he took pictures of to show me) and determine what had to be done to fix the problems that nailed the deal. Albeit, a few hiccups in scheduling the work, Carlos Jr. (Project Manager) fitted my roof job on the one day when the weather cooperated, arranged the drop-off of the disposal bin as planned, organized the work crew and regularly called me to check on the progress of the roof installation. Noting the shortcomings in how a couple of drain pipes were installed, Carlos recommended that these pipes be extended along the roof above the garage right to the eavestrough to protect the shingles. Aaron (Crew Lead) led the team of six. Work commenced around 8:30 a.m. right through 6:00 p.m. or thereabouts. Six pairs of boots worked on the roof and a woman was part of the crew! Amazing! In one day, the roof was done but for the installation of 3 vents. A clean up of my property was done along with that of my neighbours. Aaron's team was courteous, friendly and hard working. Another team of two came on day 2, and in just over an hour installed a new gutter in the front. And, before the end of the day, Aaron and another team member came by to install the remaining 3 vents in spite of the drizzly and windy day. My roof is professionally installed, shows exceptional workmanship and and includes longer-than-average workmanship and parts guarantees. D'Angelo & Sons is definitely in a class of its own!

We got a number of quotes to have our roof and eavestroughs, and gutters replaced. D'Angelo's was not the cheapest, but we were happy with what they planned on doing so we hired them. After missing 3 start dates (with the supplies sitting in the middle of my driveway), they finally showed up.. and no, there was no rain delays. They did the roof part first, and it looked ok. We went up and inspected it and didn't see anything too troubling. After the gutter crew missed another 4 start dates (by the way, do NOT expect them to call you to confirm which day they are coming, or if they don't show up when they said they would.. not one phone call). They finally showed up on a day with no warning and got snappy and rude at us because our gate to the backyard was locked. We explained that we needed warning and we would happily make sure it was open. After much back and forth, they gave us a new day (which they didn't show up). They showed up a day late, but they were there. When we went around and checked out the work for the eavestrough, we were absolutely stunned at the absolute lack of care when installing these. There were 4 pieces of downspout all mashed together, so basically when it rained it leaked out of the cracks. The gutter guards had major gaps in it, and there were already leaves accumulating in our gutters. There were huge gaps from the gutter to the house. It looked like they just jammed everything together. It took another 3 visits and work being done each time to get this fixed. The ONLY reason they even came back was because we withheld the balance of the payment and refused to pay until it was fixed to our satisfaction. Trust me, they tried to get us to pay them "for our year end", but we had zero faith that anything would be fixed voluntarily on their end. Just avoid this company. They do not have customer satisfaction in mind. Their sales team did an amazing job though! I ignored the other warnings about this company.. Never again. To D’Angelo – I see you like to comment and ask us to call you, which I fail to understand? What exactly do you hope to accomplish? It’s too late. Just take my advise and work on getting your scheduling in order and have your gutter crew trained again. Or trained well the first time.

After the last wind storm we endured back in May, 2018 our roof was in desperate need of replacement. We contacted D'Angelo & Sons Roofing to arrange for an estimate. Within a few days, a very knowledgeable and professional sales rep, Carlos Vasallos (Carlos Sr) was inspecting our roof, educating us about the different products available, explaining how the new roof would be installed and answering all kinds of questions my husband and I had such as warranty, etc. It didn't take us long after seeing the big "difference" in quality and service between D'Angelo and Sons and other roofing companies, to sign them up for the job. On the day of the installation we were very pleased to see how competent and professional the crew was, they did a fantastic job on the roof and completed the day with a very meticulous clean up around the house. I don't usually write up reviews unless I'm compelled to do so, and in this case I thought this review should be shared.

Called to receive a quote to replace roof shingles. They came out to measure and discuss and try to sell me new eavestroughs and gutters and fascia. Once he realized I only wanted the shingles done they were no longer interested in the job and never came back. Guess if you don't go for the works it's not worth their time. Mark Giannobile, my salesman, has been so very patient and kind with me, because I’m lacking trust due to a terrible experience. I’m in my same house 47+ years, and had my original roof for 33 years, with never a day of trouble, or a shingle off. I got it replaced thinking it needed to be, and a roofer told me it did. The roof he installed started with half a roof of wrong shingles installed…bright orange, like a pumpkin, …instead of the brown I had ordered to match my house. I had an appointment that day, and luckily came home before the other half was completed. They were then removed, my brown shingles installed, which have been breaking, falling off, flying away etc. starting months before year seven. Once I had over twenty shingles that had fallen off, lined up on my driveway to show this roof company owner. The new eavestrough they installed gushed only months after installation and continued to. My efforts to get repairs and justice from this company have been exhausting over the years. I’m a senior citizen who deserves so much better! Now….the roof as checked by Mark, had shingles missing, causing damage to my diningroom ceiling plaster, and some are flapping and loose. I just signed with Mark today for a new roof and eavestrough from D’Angelo and sons. I’m praying it’s everything it should be, after the shoddy workmanship from my past one, and all the trouble and heartache I had to go through. Mark has been so very kind and patient with me, understanding what I went through in the past, and explaining every step to me. I appreciate that more than words can say! He’s lovely and I can’t say enough good things about him. Thank you so much Mark! Now I’m looking forward to getting my new roof and eavestrough soon,…ones which will be installed to last. I take pride in everything I do, and I expect that from others, especially when you’re paying a good deal of money, which it certainly is for this senior! Thank you!

Due to an issue with squirrel access in my home, pest control advised me to hire a roofing company that could fix the large gaps under the roof. The first company I talked to suggested a quick fix and the second company actually replaced the fascia, soffit and eaves trough. Unfortunately the problem didn’t get resolved because there were still gaps where the squirrels were getting in under the roof. Then I decided to call D’Angelo Roofing to have an inspection done. I was greeted by Taylor who listened with empathy to my concerns and put me in touch with David, a Senior Advisor. David did an inspection on the roof and provided a report outlining the correction needed to deter the pest infiltration. This was done in a very professional manner. The job was scheduled a few days later and McKale, the technician who performed the work did an excellent job. He also custom bent the metal edging to cover the Eave Fascia. The pest control company was able to get the squirrels out through a vent in the roof. My advice is the hire a reputable roofing company that does it right the first time – Call D’Angelo & Sons!

I met Carlos Sr at the Ancaster homeshow. I knew my roof it's due and needed an estimate. He was very professional and very knowledgable, I booked an appointment for him to visit our house late on the following week. I didn't count on Sunday we would have very strong winds, where I lost a few shingles. I call Carlos right away on Monday and he changed the appointment for the very same day to assist me with this matter. After his throughout inspection, checking the attic for proper breathing as well; he realized we should boost the insulation which was very low. Also he noticed the eaves weren't working in the proper way and recommended us soffit lighting to improve security and curb appeal. He is also sending a technician to tarp our roof until the job can be done. I couldn't do everything at one shot, but Carlos offered me oen financing so we decided to do all. Great experience so far and happily surprised how into details this company and representatives are. Looking forward to have my several projects done!!.
