I am a customer. They did not respond back to my call. Dishonest. They knew that the building's water system needed a water softener, but did not tell management so that they could keep putting in cheap water heater parts into the water heaters. These would continuously break from Guelph's hard water, and they would keep coming back more and more for service calls to make money off people for their short cut solution of a job. Edit: parts, not elements. I have an electric water heater at home so that's what I was thinking about. Cheap water heater parts, not elements.

I live in Guelph and renovate around 6-10 houses a year. I've used BAP heating since day 1 when I started back in 2012. I've read a few of these reviews and think the negative ones are bogus, I have become personal friends with the owner and he doesn't run his company like the way the negative reviews would have you believe, I am so confident in the company I have used them for my own houses, my families houses (all the way in Mississauga), he has helped all my real estate clients as well when they need to have something replaced or fixed to fulfill a condition to sell the house, he has replaced the Remax office in which I work at, and no issues, I would highly recommend this company to ANYONE!

Our AC was on its last leg last summer and needed replacing but after making so many calls to companies for quotes and getting poor or non-responsive service, we decided to leave it another year. Our AC broke down on the hottest day this summer. We called around and Paul picked up right away and came over that day to give us a quote. We got a few more quotes over the days but none of them came close when it came to service. Paul didn't try to "sell" to us, he told us the information we needed, the cost and timing to get the work done. He was friendly, polite and knowledgeable. We decided to replace our furnace at the same time too and though they were busy, Paul booked us in that week and Zack came out and got both jobs done. Zack even installed the new thermostat and walked us through it. Our water softener broke down a week later, I did not hesitate to call BAP and they replaced it (for cheaper than the other companies for the same product). Both Paul and Zack have provided excellent service, in a timely manner and great prices. I feel confidant that I can call them anytime with questions or concerns. I was in desperate need of an AC unit approaching peak season, and I had no idea what to ask for or who I could trust with giving me a fair price and good service. I came across BAP online and gave them a shot. Paul answer the phone and I instantly felt comfortable asking questions (about something I had little knowledge on). He seemed very trustworthy off the bat and provide information and suggestions to resolve my issue in the most cost effective way. Never did I feel that he was up selling me or pushing me towards something I was unsure of. I called on Saturday and it’s Tuesday and I’m sitting in a cool house! BAP was very accommodating to my schedule. I couldn’t be home early from work, so they came and did the outside work until I was able to arrive home. It took about 2 hours in total. The guy who installed the AC was really nice and also extremely knowledgeable. He gave me a few suggestions to ensure I was taking care of the unit and even walked me through how to ensure I get the 10 year warranty online. Overall, fantastic company! I will be recommending them to everyone in the Guelph area. So pleased with the experience. The service really was exceptional!

Okay, so not everyone can expect that kind of response (he just happened to be driving right past my street on the way back from a call in Arthur), but my usual provider couldn’t come for two days. It was a struggle for me to find a hvac company who could install a brand new hydronic heating system in my house in the Guelph area until I met with Paul. Before finding out about BAP i had been in contact with 4 other local companies and without getting into specifics all had horific levels of unprofesionalism. My wife and I recently sold our condo and a week before closing our furnace went on us. Needing a quick solution we called a number of HVAC providers, all of whom said they could do the job but pricing was all over the map. BAP was recommended to us by a work colleague so we gave them a call. They too said they could do the job and provide a very fair and reasonable price so we decided to go with them. Due to the uniqueness of our heating unit in the condo, the unit had to be ordered from the USA (something that all providers we called told us as well). Zack was excellent during the process, keeping me as up to date as he could on the ETA of the shipped unit. Because of the minimum 2 week shipping process, this took us beyond the closing date of the condo. Zack was kind enough to let me leave a few industrial space heaters in the unit for the new owners and made arrangements to install the unit with the new owners once it arrive. Zack had it installed at the first opportunity he had to get into the condo and it's up and running perfectly now. I can't thank Zack, Paul and the BAP team enough for making a very stressful situation as stress free as possible. They were very professional throughout the entire process and made what could have been a very expensive endeavor, very affordable for us while at the same time providing one of the top of the line units for the new owners. Thanks Zack, we will definitely use BAP for any future HVAC issues we run into. Very highly recommended!

He probably spent more time teasing my wife about getting earplugs for the noise than trying to sell anything ! This review is long overdue but I was so please with the service I received from BAP Heating & Cooling Services, I had to make sure to write one. After 19 years of service from my furnace, it completely died on me In January 2021. A friend of mine recommended BAP to me and I quickly called them. They were quick to respond, provided me with different options of payment method for replacement which include upgrading my furnace vent piping and changing my filter. BAP made a commitment to come out to service our air conditioner , I made a call 1 hour after we expected them to show up, I was advised they were running late and I would get a call when they were on there way. This was Wednesday night , Thursday morning came and I still had not heard from them , I called again and advised them not to bother showing up. I thought that was pretty rude , they could have at least called and asked to re schedule , but no. Needless to say I called someone else and by air conditioner as of today Saturday works like a charm now.

200$ callout for Zach to tell meee how to service my A/C, that gas fire needed a part and that he would return 'next Friday' to finish gas dryer duct install .. call Fri .. boss says Z shouldn't have said Fri and gas fire needed part .. he would call when it arrived .. never ret'd calls after that .... ONE YEAR LATER Bryan's Fuels comes out and cleans gas fire for 110$ no parts needed . did dryer solo 8mths ago .. WHAT A JOKE !!!

They saw the thermostats hanging on for dear life to its wires and went the extra mile to fix the loose thermostat.
