We built a new home in the fall of 2020 and Lafleur completed the cabinetry and countertops for our kitchen and 3 bathrooms. Our relationship began approximately 1 year before installation date. From the first day forward, the team at Lafleur was hands down one of the best contractors we dealt with. From the start, I was unclear of my vision for my kitchen. Leona worked with me, taking into consideration all other aspects of my home to create a kitchen that reflected my dreams! I felt comfortable and let the Lafleur team surprise me with a range hood design, and they certainly did not disappoint! My first experience with Leona was awesome. I warned her I have zero sense about all this interior house stuff and I probably test her patience. She was ready for a challenge. While she was getting her info ready to start I did the one thing that was not a good thing to do. Fell in love with my counter top before choosing cabinets. Of it was something not exactly discreet.???? But she help me to realize what worked with my choice and how it was still clean and classic and modern. Rod and his team were very quick and easy to work with, good thing we had over sized entry doors. I can't say enough about this team. They were even able to help me when we had a flood in out basement. They are just a great couple to work with and very knowledgeable about their products. Always recommend them when I hear someone looking for cabinets.???? Thank you guys!! You know Wayne will be on doorstep again for another build.

We had our main floor completely renovated in 2015. Leona drafted a design, guided us through the process, pointed us towards cost saving suppliers and people in the industry that she trusted to do electrical, drywall, painting, flooring, lighting, and appliances. She helped me pick out flooring, tiles, paint colors, etc. and then Rod and his team of carpenters installed beautiful cabinetry . Leona provided a clear timeline and calendar that was used to schedule the various contractors and keep everyone informed and on schedule. The process was organized and painless! We did a complete kitchen and bathroom renovation this past summer and had Lafleur Cabinets and Countertops do the cabinets. I didn’t want to give a review until I had had a chance to use my new kitchen and see how it works for me. I am absolutely thrilled! The kitchen feels so fresh, modern and well designed. I have been talking about getting a new kitchen for several years. I don’t like change until it’s done. I don’t like the mess and hassle of renovations and I have a hard time making decisions. Delays and changes of plans irritate and upset me so it was with some trepidation that I finally started to seriously consider this renovation. I searched on line and we visited several cabinet making options in Grande Prairie before settling on Lafleur Cabinets and Countertops. We couldn’t have made a better choice. We liked that the cabinets were made locally, the price was reasonable and the first impression on meeting Leona was very positive. She took the time to engage us, finding out what we wanted, making suggestions and showing us our options. She worked our ideas into a very nice design with some unique features. She was easy to talk to, to plan with and listened well. Once we decided to go with Lafleur Cabinets and Countertops, Leona went over the plans in detail. She gave us a timeline of when the various stages would happen and what we needed to have prepared. And they stuck to that time-line. There were no delays, no postponements. The counter top was to have been installed in 2 to 4 weeks after the cabinets. Rod said for home renovations they tried to make it as soon as they could. Our counter top came two weeks after the cabinets. The five staff who worked on various parts of the instalment were all friendly and courteous and worked efficiently and very hard. They were also very neat and tidy. There was no mess or clutter and they tidied up before they left at the end of each day. They also told us who would be coming next, when and what they were going to do. Leona always called or emailed to confirm the schedule. She also checked in with us several times to see if we had any questions and how things were going. You could tell that Leona and Rod and the carpenters and stone crew really cared that they were doing a good job and all were very considerate of us. It was a great experience and we are very pleased with the quality of the cabinets and the quality of workmanship and professionalism of Leona, Rod and staff. Thank you for a great experience and a lovely new kitchen and bathroom!

I'm sure like most other people it is very difficult to chose someone you can trust to do the job correctly and make every detail perfect. The installers are very trustworthy and take a lot of pride in their work as well. The area was always cleaned up and tools put away every night. This was our first big custom home we had built. Out of all my suppliers and trades people, I have to say, working with Leona from Lafleur Cabinets in Grande Prairie, made this seem easy. We had Lafleur build all our custom cabinets which included - Full kitchen with island, 4 bathrooms, living room wall unit, utility doors, walk-in closet drawers, and laundry hampers (actually they even designed my walk in closet too). Leona spent a lot of time with me in many design meetings, picking out the right granite, wood, pull knobs, finishes, etc.. She included me in all stages, changes, then more changes, till it was just right. Very patient for sure. Our cabinet budget was quite large only because we had cabinets everywhere, even in our garage. So from me, all I can say is Lafleur rates a 5/5 stars, and highly recommend them for you build/renovation. I would sure use them again with no hesitation.
