It's been a couple of months since the folks at Sewells paved our driveway, and it has so far performed beautifully. My kids love being able to draw chalk pictures on it, and for us grown ups, it is well graded away from the house, and the lines are crisp and sharp. Can't wait to for winter snows to use the snow blower (almost ????). As far as the process is concerned, we received a reasonable quote within days of calling, and the boys worked hard on one of the hottest days of the summer to get it done. Thanks to all to give us a beautiful new driveway.

A couple of summers ago I saw my neighbours had contracted to have their driveway paved. It was really well done so when it came time to have our driveway done I asked who the contractor was and they told me it was Sewells Paving. I contacted them and they did a terrific job. Our driveway was 20 years old and had developed cracks and bumps. Sewells Paving assessed the job, provided a quote, removed the old asphalt, did the prep work for the new driveway and paved it. We are really pleased with the quality of the product, the ease of working with the company as well as the pricing of the job.

This crew was awesome! They did everything exactly as we asked, were very approachable, and were nice enough to the neighbours that the neighbours mentioned it. The finer detail work where they had to pave around a deck and a walkway was exceptionally precise and well done. The quality of work exceeded my expectations and their price was better than the other paving company we got a quote from. What they quoted was what we paid. They even got the work done about a month before it was scheduled, they called and asked if they could come by that afternoon because they were working nearby. Since we were ready, we jumped at the chance. I highly recommend Sewell's.

Grading, took a bit longer than expected but to no fault of sewell’s. rain rolled in and stopped the work for the weekend but they were back bright and early Monday to finish grading. Come paving day they were done and loaded up in under an hour. After the past year being cooped up it was good to see everyone with a smile even while getting rained on. Over all great experience from estimate to the finished product. 10/10 would recommend

This company plays head games and has no problem jerking around with the smaller customers. They will tell you that you are on the schedule for that day and the next thing you know you find yourself being told that you need to wait another 4 weeks. Too many hands in the pot and they don't even realize how much one contradicts the other. Then they are totally rude when you try to bring this kinda stuff tho their attention. Home owners, beware of companies that take your money and run!

I had my driveway paved by Sewells Paving in Oct 2019 and have to say they were excellent. I mainly dealt with Brian, who is one of the estimators. I showed Brian what I wanted, I asked him some questions and we worked out the plan. He left me with an estimate on the spot and told me to call if I wanted the work done, it was easy and he was very professional. After I had decided to go ahead with the paving, the paving crew worked with my schedule and paid close attention to a few specific requests I had discussed with Brian. The paving crew works hard and fast, they are a well oiled machine. The driveway looks great, my wife and I are very happy the way it turned out. I recommend Sewells Paving if anyone is looking for a company in the Fredericton Area.

We asked for a free estimate and Brian Madore was here the next day to complete an estimate for us. He made several positive suggestions that helped us decide what our best options were for paving both unpaved areas and for repaving previously paved areas. It was a substantial project and we wanted to think about it. Brian contacted us once before we had decided, and he seemed to understand our hesitation - no pressure. Once we had committed to having the job done, things happened very quickly. We were very impressed with the prep team and how well they worked together. Ben was amazing when using the Cub to remove paving that needed to be cut out! The paving crew was equally impressive. They completed our large project in about five hours, and it looks fantastic. The two fellows who stayed behind to finish up did a terrific job, also. I must mention that our Labrador retriever, Rusty, managed to get out of the house and run through an area that was being done by hand. This was obviously very stressful, and unfortunately, I did not get the name of the young man who poured water quickly on Rusty's paws, and held and calmed him while I attended to his paws and belly area. Rusty was a mess, but it all turned out okay largely due to this young man who helped us out. Please extend our special thanks to him. Throughout the whole paving experience, it was apparent that the crew members were respectful of one another, of Brian and to us. They seemed to enjoy their work, and each other. We enjoyed watching them work so smoothly together! Brian was just fantastic the whole way through. He knows what he is doing and certainly goes the extra mile for his clients! Thank you all for making this such a great experience for us. We will be recommending your company at every opportunity.

I contacted Allen Sewell of Sewellls Paving to give an estimate to repave my driveway and he arrived shortly afterward and discussed my concerns and after measuring driveway and what had to be done he gave me his estimate with an explanation of how he arrived at the price. We agreed on the price which included a deeper excavation to improve the base of the driveway which was badly needed. A few days later his crew arrive and all workers of the company were a pleasure to have around and worked in a professional manner. I was notified if there were delays and times work would begin. All of the work was completed as promised and an excellent job was done to my satisfaction. When the crew left the premises both my yard and the street were swept and cleaned up. I was left with a sheet of do"s and don't"s to help maintain the newly paved driveway. I would highly recommend "Sewells Paving" to anyone wishing to have their driveway paved.

Sewells Paving recently paved my difficult driveway with several problems in the lay of the land for drainage. It was below the main roadway and the garage all sloped towards my house. We recently had a serious problem with a commercial door not opening because of asphalt heaving. Brian went to the site immediately and carefully repaired the problem (temp was 20 below) and had the door working properly BEFORE LUNCH. Bad experience with this company. Has been on going repairs for three years to the driveway and being lied to each time. Driveway looks ten years old. When owner finally showed up to have a look, he was flippant and his response was he has only had three complaints and "what do you want me to do about it" because he was not going to redo the driveway. Worst mistake using this company, should have paid more to get it done right . They want in an out fast, collect their money and not back up their work. Home owners beware.

I was impressed with Sewell's from start to finish: excavation, grading, and driveway paving. Their scheduling was nimble and they got the job done in short order, which was important to me near the end of the season. As my driveway is a bit irregular and on a slope, I felt that their attention to detail was excellent. The finished product looks great. The site also required a larger than normal amount of new gravel. They obliged.

Brian came in January and gave me a quote, said it could be completed late May or early June. Amanda called me each time to keep me up to date from grading the driveway to the day of paving which was June 1st.
