On the recommendation of another plumber who recommended Leachmans I contacted this company as a pipe valve was leaking out of control. Within minutes, Paul attended and replaced the required parts and had us completely fixed up within one hour of the initial call to Leachmans!!! Paul was very professional, polite and efficient. Have called these guys a few times since moving into a new house a couple of years ago. Every time was quick service, good staff and fair rates. The reason for the 5 stars however was that I once called for a busted pipe in my basement during a winter holiday, during a snowstorm. They were down to almost no staff and doing these types of emergency repairs all day but the guy on the phone assessed my plumbing knowledge and walked me through what the problem was and how to fix it with basic cutting / shark bite fittings. So I was able to run to hardware store and grab a couple parts to keep my basement from being damaged and still be able to use my water. Any projects since they have been my first call.

Spring of 2016 we had Leachman's install a home water filtration unit to remove hard water. When Leachman's installed the unit they put the drain/ flush pipe down a drain that was not made for the same capacity which caused water overflow and basement flooding in two rooms. The second room had laminate (click) flooring which got wet. After all the drying/ dehumidifying, a roughly 4 sq ft area remained damaged and warped. At first it seemed like they were going to fix the damage. Making promises and kept contact but it was just delays - very busy, no time to go to store for flooring, can't find the proper match of floor and more excuses and delays over months. We even provided Leachman's a portion of the floor to help match it which they still have... In the end I over paid by $100, got tired of chasing them around then gave up. The missing piece in my floor is a ever reminder to never do business with Leachman's again.

Wish I could give a zero star review. Honestly a joke of a company. Called once, scheduled appointment, never showed up. Called twice, showed up for second appointment, but worker was extremely rude, moved things with no regard to what was moved, knocked over my plant, barged in on several other tenants without so much as knocking, stepped on belongings, absolutely terrible. Don't waste your money. I'd literally rather have my broken heaters and freeze in the winter than deal with these people again.

i moved in to a place where there were alot of plumbing issues my real estate lawyer said get it fixed and he'd have the seller pay the bill. so i went ahead and got it fixed but my lawyer failed to have the bill paid 6 months later they came after me for the bill which yes sure it was still outstanding i understand that but the fact the owner got threatening and its now been paid in full for almost 6 years and still marked on my credit as unpaid shows the type of company this is yes things stay on your credit as late payment but don't show up as unpaid 6 years later at least none of my other late bills with decent companies have before not to mention they illegally removed the water meter and never notified the township about it

Hired these guys to do a simple inspection and fix a shower tap. Ended up costing almost $600 dollars. The plumber couldn't figure out what tool he needed so instead of bringing everything with him, he brought a tool one by one walking back and fourth from his van wasting about an hour of time. Even if they're only there for less than a half hour they will still charge you for an hour of work and sit in the driveway long after they're finished. Avoid these rip off artists.

Excellent company. For those complaining of paying $80 dollars for a simple repair, these are the normal rates for a journeyman plumber to show up at your door. You’re paying for a professional who has spent years in their trades. If it was easy to do, you could do it yourself. They are honest and excellent at their work. I highly recommend them.

We had an emergency plumbing issue on a weekend. The plumbing fitting to our downstairs toilet separated and caused water to attempt to flood our basement. Luckily we got the water shutoff before any serious damage occurred. We called the after hours service number and they said they xoyld send somone over the next morning. They were quick and had it repaired in less than 20mins. The repair cost was very reasonable. We would highly recommend them.

I just returned from Leachman plumbing and heating after having a problem with our Oil furnace, and I am very pleased with the service. They were extremely friendly and helpful. They ended up sealing a washer for me so I could fix the leak free of charge! I couldn't be more pleased, I will definitely use this place in the future.

I had Leachmans installed plumbing for a new washer in dryer in my home. I have to say I was not really impressed with them. First I wanted to have the plumbing behind the washer and dryer (not on the side) but when I got home after work they told be they could not get it through the back so they placed it on the side (they really should have told me about that before proceeding). I was a bit upset but trusted their expertise. I later found, when my electrician came to finish the job to install the electrical components of the job and the vent for the dryer, that not only they could have gone through the back like I wanted (it would have been more difficult, but much more convenient for me once installed), but that by moving the plumbing to the side they had actually damaged some of my wiring (as pictured, you can see the empty drilled holes and the damaged wire). They ought to have known there was a wire there as it was clarly visible (also pictured) but they still damaged it and failed to tell me about it. It is clear they knew they hit something and they probably knew exactly what it was. Nevertheless, I brought the issue to their attention and demanded compensation for material and time for my electrician on two occasions, but they did not even acknowledged my complaint. My electrician only found out because he was doing other work in the house. If the issue had gone unnoticed, it would have left live and exposed aluminum wires in my home, which is a significant fire hazard. On the bright side, the install works, but it was far from a nice experience.

Guys were awesome, had what I thought was a simple call, no water. Turned out I needed my well water pump needed to be replaced. The plumber worked until the job was complete, diagnosis all the possibilities until concluding it was the pump. He went out of his way to make sure I had water when he could have easily told me to wait until they had time to do it. Reasonably priced too!

The quick connect of my kitchen faucet pull-out hose was loose. I called them to come look at it. The job took less than 10 minutes but I was charged $88.55. I called to complain about the bill and they said they charge a minimum rate of one hour. When I booked for the job they didn't tell me about this policy. Just a rip off. Don't use them for small jobs.
