We've have a bunch of needed work on our house (some of which our inspector missed) Blake has helped us out where other contractors haven't, or would at a much higher cost and wait. Communicates quick and clearly. As with most contract work, sometimes things happen that neither party can predict, but they never just leave us high and dry, and try to find solutions in a timely manner. Fair & competitive prices, reasonable, and accommodating. Any small detail overlooked by accident? (We're all human) Comes right back and fixes it fast, no extra cost, no hemming or hawing or sneaky costs. Just like a professional should, and I wish all the contractors I've had were like that. Blake and his crew are good guys. I appreciate their work!

June 23rd we hired Custom Fix Renovations to build us a deck. We received a quote, agreed on it and were promised it would be completed by mid August. Fast forward to today. Our deck is STILL not complete. It has been nothing but a nightmare, our deck was unsafe for a month and left without rails for weeks leaving it up to us to ensure our young kids and dog didn't fall off. We had two well credentialed contractors in the area come look at the deck and basically tell us to tear the entire thing off the house ASAP. The owner came and "fixed" it after we mentioned the possibility of taking legal action as we felt we had no other choice. Two weeks pass with zero communication or update and I'm now told he's " done and moving on from this." I absolutely despise negativity on social media but refuse to let this go unmentioned for the fear of seeing others go through this. I've made a post mentioning our experience once but removed after the owner begged for us to remove it with promises to make it right, but after being left once again with little to no time to finish everything that needs to be done in order to handle the snow/winter load, I'm highly motivated to repost and share this experience in order to save someone else the money and headache.
