Needed my furnace replaced. These guys started in my furnace room at 8:30am and was outta there by 12:30pm! Very impressive and efficient. I've known Glenn with Gas Iron Gas Fitting for quite a few years so I knew the quality of work I would be getting from him and Beacon Hill MHP. On the coldest day of the year Andrew really came through for me, up on the roof in -35 Celsius installing a new chimney. He installed a new furnace for me too and swept up the debris as he went. This was my first time using Beacon Hill mechanical. I found them on Google. The quote was quick and easy and professional with a great explanation by their technician Andrew. He was very thorough and discussed all of our options and made the decision very easy. The time frame for install was quick. When Andrew showed up the next day he had all the parts he needed he came in did all of his work professionally quietly and was very clean. This was done during covid-19 pandemic and he respected the face mask rule inside the house which was very professional. It is very hard to find good quality service in Fort McMurray and usually when you do it comes at a steep price if it is even available. I will tell you 100% that using Beacon Hill mechanical for any of your HVAC needs is going to be something you won't regret. And the best part is is not only is the quality of service top notch but the pricing is really good. I totally recommend them.

This is a great company. I always use them for the HVAC and plumbing for my properties in Fort McMurray because I find them to be the fastest and their local and they don’t go to town on my credit card like the other ones do! I can trust the office and I always know what I’m paying. I like the flat fee job rate system they use too. Fast honest better priced - highly recommend just calling them first. Save your money. The BEST plumbing/heating/electrical company in Fort McMurray by FAR! They were the only company to respond to my panic call when my furnace quit. The owner answered herself! I called every other listed 'open 24 hours' on google that I could find and not one was actually open or could send someone until the morning (this was only 10:30 at night!!!) and all had a MINIMUM charge of $500 !!!!! They came in at half that price!!! It was -38 and we would have froze ! I had heard some false rumours from friends around town about this company over the summer when I needed a quote on my A/C unit installation about them falling on harder times a few years ago; but haven't we all been there?!?! So I got 2 quotes ( 1 local and 1 from a larger franchise) from other companies that both came in at roughly the same price. Well since they saved us from freezing and the guy was here anyways I got them to quote me...... wayyyyyy cheaper then anyone! Not only are they the longest standing locally owned plumbing/heating/ electrical company here in fort mac, but they had the best customer service and the best price by far!

I don’t think it’s possible to truly express the immense gratitude and appreciation that my husband and I have right now for Glen & the work that he recently did in our home. We thought our furnace was in need of a minor repair and with a baby in the house, we figured we would get it checked out before the really cold weather set it. But it wasn’t a minor repair, the heat exchanger on our furnace was not only cracked but the cause of a carbon monoxide leak into our home. Glen saw to the replacement of the furnace himself, working with us to find a new one and making it affordable, he worked with us every step of the way, making sure that our home and our family was safe. He even did some custom work for us and I was really surprised! This experience started off really stressful and actually really scary, but the entire ordeal was over before we knew it and with our new furnace, we also got security, safety and peace of mind. We can’t thank him enough!! BHM are the only ones we will be calling from here on out!!

They were able to install the AC unit exactly were I wanted it and they came back to test it when the temperature outside was warm. I needed to get a gas heater installed in my garage and wasn't thrilled with the potential possibilities of contacting a company to get it done due to past experiences with other work. Many companies I've reached out to for work in the past never get back to you, and if they do and can actually get them to show up the work ends up being pretty costly. This time I decided I would take more time to do a little research and read into more reviews before contacting anyone. While a few companies in town do have seemingly good reviews, the ones I read here about Beacon Hill Mechanical made me want to give them a shot so I reached out via their form on their website. From past experiences I wasn't expecting a call for a few days if at all but within a few hours Gary reached out to me by phone. I was pleasantly surprised due to it being after their listed office hours. He was very courteous and pleasant on the phone and after a few questions about the hook ups/setup in my house said he would be by the following day to check it out to give a more accurate estimation. He reached out the following day between jobs and arranged to come by. Once he arrived, Gary was extremely personable and professional about the realities of what the job required and my options due to the local building codes. He made suggestions about the pros and cons of each and let me make my decision. Once we had that figured out he gave me a very honest and reasonable quote. I've gotten used to paying an extra premium in this town and from asking around previous had been expecting to pay it again this time regardless. It was a very fair assessment and Gary broke it down for me and I happily agreed. Once we had settled that he got me booked in on the soonest day he could. Gary and Andrew showed up on time as expected and were very professional throughout the installation. They ran into a few hiccups along the way but were very communicative throughout the process and worked efficiently to get the job done. Once it was finished I was very happy with the clean look of the installation and the quality of the work. Sadly my garage didn't have the necessary hookup needed for powering the unit to meet code but Andrew was kind enough to point me in the direction of a reputable electrician. All and all I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the work, the efficiency of the install price and the reasonable price for the work. Will definitely be calling them again if any more necessary work needs to be done around the house. Thanks again gentlemen!

I purchased a gas stove and had to have a gasline installed. I had another company in town set up do the install, but come the day of the appointment the company never showed or even called for that matter. So here I was stuck unable to cook because I had no gasline. I called beacon Hill at 7pm to find out when they could come and give me a quote, they gave me a call back within 10 minutes and the gentleman on the phone said he could be there at 8/830 the next day. Not only did they come when they said they would they also were able to do the job the same day. Absolutely excellent customer service, will definitely use and recommend them in the future!!!!! Hard to find awesome customer service in this town like that. Thanks!!

Called to have a leak in a jacuzzi fixed. Was told that if i could wait a couple weeks they would have their best jacuzzi plumber stop by and fix the problem. I waited the two weeks and on the day the plumber was supposed to stop by no one showed up. No calls from Beacon Hill either. I called Beacon Hill that day and asked when he'd be stopping by and learned that the plumber had quit. Would have been nice if Beacon Hill had let me know that no one was coming so that i could have arranged another plumber.

Call these folks for a furnace problem after having another company show up , to which they could not find the problem , only to find out the person was not a JM , but a first year apprentice with no knowledge Beaconhill tech showed up had found the problem with a few minutes , of trouble shooting . and had founds the parts in town and within an hour we had heat back on

Wonderful! Glen and Olivia have been nothing short of amazing! My husband and I had a terrible experience with another company trying to troubleshoot our Air Conditioning system, and while on the verge of a meltdown I spoke with Olivia. She immediately calmed me down and talked me through it, while passing my information on to Glen. Glen called me right away and coached me through how to deal with my situation and even called me again later in the evening to ensure I had calmed down and felt a little better. As soon as the weather warmed, Olivia got in contact with me right away to make sure my unit would be looked at before the busy season started. Glen came by and did a free diagnosis on our air conditioning unit to try and help ease our terrible experience we had with the other company. He thoroughly explained the issues to me and my husband, giving us feedback on how we can maintain our system and what we should do (not once pressuring us to install a new system). We decided to have the new unit installed and Glen squeezed us in right away to get it done. He is very knowledgable and we felt very comfortable having him perform the new installation. We now have a new, fully functional air conditioning system installed and couldnt’t be happy with the service and pricing!! Amazing service and will be recommending them! If we need any repairs done for our furnace, etc we will definitely be contacting them!! Thanks again!!

I had issues with my hot water heater. The problem had already been diagnosed to the gas control valve. I spoke to Andrew and he was very responsive and came to my place to have a look and he gave me a quote for the repair and we also looked at the replacement option given the age of the gas water heater. I decided on a replacement unit and Andrew was at my place the following morning at 8:15am to install a new Bradford White unit which was my preferred brand as per our discussion. Worst company ever. If you want to waste your money call these guys. Installed an air conditioning condenser and couldn't even get it to work properly. Had to pay another contractor to come in and fix it properly. Not to mention the burn marks on wall and flooring from soldering, thermostat hanging off the wall, created a natural gas leak in the furnace and the list goes on. Tried to call them back and no answer now that they got my money. If you want a job done professionally and right call some other contractor.
