We had Max renovate our home in Victoria, bc. He was smooth talking and likeable so we hired him. I started to worry about halfway through when areas where demo’ed that were not meant to be at a rather massive cost. I experienced bully tactics and refusals to my reactions of the costs. At one point he walked away. In the end he handed me a bill for $8000 in hardware. This was 3 times my estimate. He refused to provide his receipts and sent his lawyer after me. I would stay away.
