Matt and his team installed Hardie shingles and Hardie plank on our home. The attention to detail and their desire to get the job right was a great experience. They let us know how to incorporate our design within the building code. The neighbours once asking when we are going to tear the house down are now telling us how much they like the transformation. We used Kinnee Contracting to renovate our bathroom. They were awesome!!! They showed up when they said they would, they promptly communicated about what was going on and were quick to respond to emails. The job was completed within a reasonable amount of time and all the work was very well done. Throughout the reno they checked in to ensure we were happy with the work. They also were very competitively priced and completed the job on budget. They were a dream!! I have given their name out to a few people who have used my bathroom. They comment on the reno and ask who did the work. They are so impressed with it. We will definitely use Kinnee Contracting again to renovate our kitchen. Great company to work with!!

They modified some internal kitchen walls for a new kitchen and open space, modified plumbing and electrical services, prepared a concrete patio and built a new cedar fence for us. We have a two bedroom condo in the Oak Bay area of Victoria. It was built in the 1980s and needed several changes in order to allow more functionality in modern times. Matt and his crew worked with us to plan the best route to accomplish what we needed. They were also patient with us regarding several annoying add-ons as the job progressed. All Kinnee workers approached their work in a very professional manner including clean up as needed when their work was done each day. Kinnee Contracing provides good work in a fair, ethical, businesslike manner. They demonstrated that they value their relationships with their customers.

It was a great experience working with Matt Kinnee and his team. We appreciated his calm demeanour when it came to helping make the best choices for our renovation. He has a professional approach in everything he does and truly seems to care about the success of the project. While we were challenged through a period of Covid in terms of timeline, Matt did what he could when he could to keep things on track. Since we were still living in part of the home, Matt was always concerned about our comfort, safety and well being. The project required everything from blasting rock so we could do our addition, to the matching of very detailed existing trim, as well as building a complex roofline on our new dormer. Matt was always two steps ahead of any unexpected details. He stuck to the schedule and was very budget conscious every step of the way.
