We booked them about a month ago to do work last Thursday. They didn't show up. Around 2PM, I called for an ETA. They eventually called back and said their guy had been on vacation and forgot about us. The owner booked us in for following Monday. Later, their guy also confirmed. On the Sunday night, I emailed them and asked if they were good to get going on the next morning. The email reply I got was "We're all good." Monday morning: no sign. At 10AM, I phoned and asked for an ETA. By 11AM, I got a call back from the owner who gave me a long story about how their guy had back problems. I said that I couldn't reconcile that with the "We're all good" statement from 12 hours before. They said they could try to get a guy in on the Tuesday. They were going to look at the work, but they didn't know what the work was. They didn't know our address. They didn't know if we already had the materials. Complete disarray is bad for business logistics and renovation planning. I didn't want to see what complete disarray looked like when applied to electrical work.

Amazing service!! Same day call out. Sly realized he needed to come back and got us as early an appointment as possible. He made sure everything was safe until he got back. There was a lot of odd DIY from previous owners that had to be undone, and he was very patient with trying to figure it all out. We booked with them and they stood us up not once, but TWICE, and then made excuses for it. NOT HAPPY. EDIT: A month later they sent us a proper apology and send us a voucher for $400 of work. I wish it hadn't taken that long for them to apologize, but I am changing my review from one star to three based on that, and the fact that my parents had hired them and said they did good work.

Small little mix up with message we left but viola they got us an appointment very quickly. Sylvian was incredible. We had a short and panicked re fire, etc. He came on time was polite funny and extremely knowledgeable. Sylvian tested everything and then was able to explain the problem and make suggestions going forward regarding replacement of the wiring in that bedroom because it doesn’t have a ground. Which we will be doing in the near future. I also asked about the possibility of having an electric charging station for an electric car that we are contemplating.... amperage, etc etc. Very personable and professional. Gorge Electrical Services was the electrical contractor on the building of our passive/eco friendly house on Garthland Rd and they provided exemplary service and worksmanship for the project. The construction of the house is a double wall system with in - floor radiant heating, which created the need for some very creative solutions to problems posed by the need to maintain an integral vapour barrier, while incorporating a smart house electrical design. Gorge Electrical has done a number of jobs for me over the years. The first was my new office while I was starting my company. They were super fast, efficient, and dependable. Most trades and deliveries give you an ETA of 'between 9 - 5' or whatever, but Gorge was always on time and working hard. They took all of the stress out of the job and walked me through everything that they would do for me. I knew exactly what they were going to do and what I was paying for. I've also referred them to my mom and they came in and upgraded her electrical, as it was very old and unsafe in a home built in the 40s. They took fantastic care of her, too, and did an exceptional job in a very short amount of time. As a result, her home was safe and efficient, too. I can't say enough great things about Eddie (the owner) and the rest of the team. Everyone has been great and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for knowledgable, reliable, hardworking, and energetic electricians. Give them a call!

I had someone from Gorge Electrical come to give a quote on installing an EV Charger. He came and assessed the job and said he would get back to me in a couple of days. I called at the end of the following week and left a voice mail to confirm my contact info, as I had not heard back from him. It has now been over a month and never did hear back. I assume the job was not going to be as lucrative as he had hoped for. I found someone else who did the job promptly and affordably.

I was looking for a quote to get a home electric vehicle charging station installed. They were punctual and friendly. However, when the electrician couldn't determine which was the electrical panel was main panel as opposed to the sub-panel, I was concerned. Anyway, he eventually figured it out and completed his work for the quote. He said he'll email me in the next couple days. I never received any email. I guess they're too busy for a small job. Oh well.
