We had an amazing experience with Red Rock Basements. We were expecting a baby and both worked from home, so we needed additional space in the basement. We hoped to build it out in a way that it could later be converted to a legal basement suite. I spoke to a number of contractors and the guys at Red Rock were so down to earth and had great ideas for our basement. Pricing was more than fair based on the preliminary quotes I had gotten and they even suggested many improvements to the design we had gotten drafted up. They got the job done quickly and efficiently and the trades were great. We did not see them much as they were able to leave and enter through our side door. When considering them, we were even able to see a completed legal basement suite they had done for another client and whenever we had concerns, they addressed them right away. Angus and Jot are the perfect partners, blending their respective skills in creativity and project management. We would not hesitate to recommend Angus and Jot for any home renovation.

So We tried a couple of different companies But chose RedRock. They were outstanding from the first meeting. We spend two hours, discussing the plans. They showed us the theme for our basement with 2D & 3D Designs. It was not only perfect but also unique. They provided us the details and stayed within the timeline. Now our basement looks way better than we expected. They are Affordable Experts in their field.

I received two quotes from other local companies, and was not impressed with either of them, nor was I impressed with the online services where you advertise the job and then wait for offers from companies. I wanted a company that would charge me the labour, and not mark-up the materials. It seems most of those companies were too busy to even reply, or were not interested. And then I found RedRock Basements. From the onset Jot came out quickly, assessed the job, gave me a verbal estimate for the labour (I would pay for all materials) and set a date about a month later to start the job. I agreed and a month later Jot met me at the hardware store and helped me pick out all the materials, of which I had delivered the next morning. A contract was signed and the next day work began and things moved quickly, starting with the electrical, as the bathroom was already framed. Throughout the process I was regularly informed and advised as to what would be best. At one point Jot even brought in a jack-hammer in order to adjust the shower drain that had been misplaced by the previous owner. In the end I got what I wanted, a nice new bathroom in the basement, and for half the cost of another company that was going to supply the materials. I would certainly recommend RedRock Basements to anyone wanting to renovate or complete their basement. The only thing I had to do afterwards was seal the shower to the base with some silicone to stop spiders from crawling inside (and getting stuck) in search of water, and the air vent fell out because the hole was a little too wide, so I had to buy another vent that was a bit wider.

We used RedRock Basement Builders Inc. to develop our basement. The initial process was smooth and they were helpful in choosing colours and designs. The actual construction was smooth enough with a few issues that were fairly readily fixed. We had to push on a couple of things that were not done as well as they should have been. Also their trades people were often inconsistent at showing up when they were supposed to and many times did not show up at all on days they asked us to be available for. After construction was complete and the final bill was paid for we found a few issues that needed to be addressed. Unfortunately the service at this point was poor at best. The trades did not show on the agreed upon time for 3 or 4 times straight and the work was not completed to the same level as the rest of the development. The paint was patchy and did not match the original. (looks like the gloss level was slightly off) and the fixes usually cause more problems. After a few repairs we decided not to escalate and just accept that it was good enough. The repairs that were done after were rushed and the required time was not taken to complete it well. The initial process was good but they did not seem to care once the final payment was done.

I highly recommend Redrock basement inc. This company is very professional, competent, efficient & personable. They did an excellent job completing our basement from start to finish and always responded to any questions I had. Building a new basement can be stressful therefore hiring a hardworking and trustworthy company such as Redrock basement inc. put my mind at ease. They definitely know what they are doing and do it extremely well. I now can enjoy extra living space in my home that is not only functional but also quite lovely to spend time in.

Bad customer service. Your absolutely right you don't have my name on file because to earn my business you need to at least answer the phone like a professional. Address yourself as a company and include your name. I can not speak of the quality of work this place does because I could not get past the fact that they don't even want my business based on the way I was spoke to. I am sure that one person does not reflect the entire company, However in business and this day and age first impressions are so important and mine of your company was not getting past a phone call. I will get my 25k to 30k basement completed elsewhere.

Team RedRock! Honest people Quality work Beautiful design We really enjoyed working with Angus and Jot in designing our dream mancave basement and watching it come together. Dare I say... we had FUN working with these contractors (yes, that's possible). Everyone was polite and approachable and really took the time to get to know US and what we wanted from this investment.
