Excellent experience from start to finish! Starting with coming incredibly prepared to our shingling estimate with a map of our roof... (I still have no clue how they came up with it. Lol) Everything was thoroughly explained and there was no pressure to make a decision now or to spend more than we were comfortable with. We were pleasantly surprised when they were able to start ahead of schedule (during this brutal, rainy summer!). The crew that came out was fast, efficient, polite, and did a great job cleaning up. Then there were two more inspections on the roof and the ground... The roof looks amazing and the eaves and ground are nice and clean - not a trace of any debris or nails. All this without asking for any form of payment until they knew were were completely satisfied. This company takes pride in a job well done and it shows. Thank you Ziad, Ali, and crew! I really liked the fact they tarped off everything that shingle material could fall onto and were particularly careful in my backyard where I have a puppy. The quality of there work was absolutely the best and there promptness at being there on-time each day was much appreciated. When they left after the job was complete there was no sign at all that roofers had been here. Great job guys.

We had our eavestroughs fully replaced by A2Z. Very professional and quick to respond. I live in historic 100 + year old home and things are not always up to code and have been grandfathered. The challenge is the lack of distance between my house and my neighbors rendering it to be a higher degree of difficulty. In addition, the roof has lots of peaks and is quite steep sitting quite high up 2.5 stories). I reached out to 5 companies for estimates here's the breakdown: Matt's Roofing - MIA - had to chase them over a month before having a response when finally they indicated they forgo the work because of the difficulty. Irish Steve's - came out looked at it and said no and refused the job as it was too hard. I tried to keep it short saying thanks/bye/no hard feelings but they kept pestering me with excuses *eyes rolling*. Advance Gutter Services - $1000 + higher estimate than A2Z Gutter Dunn - MIA - finally expressed excuses why they can't do it -wood rot behind it (not true, A2Z got it done). A2Z - they came and did the job - added 2 sets of new eaves and downspouts to 2 dormers (never had one before) without me asking just new to bring it to code (Wow!). They took my wife around to show her how it all works, where downspout should be etc. When it came time to pay after installation, the kind representative said not to worry about it for now and will reach out later. I was out of town for an extended time period and they emailed me asking for feedback before talking about payment. I told them my situation, they apologized (not their issue) sent me photos of the work and told me to assess it when i get back. Paid the transaction through e-transfer and happy about the work. The site was clean, everything checks out. It has been 2 months and the eaves seem to be working well! I have had extensive work to update my historic home; I am not new to working with the many personalities when it comes to hiring contractors. So many lack the business acumen to operate and administrative processes to ensure they keep up with requests and respond in a timely manner. So many lack professionalism and cut corners not bringing things up to code. So many don't even know what code is - they learned to do one skill and now they aspire to create a business out of it lacking foundational knowledge (they never keep up with trends or do any professional development, they shrug their shoulders and say talk to an inspector). For me, just get it done and if you can't no worries i'll find someone who can step up to the challenge of my very old character home. A2Z - I highly recommend, they meet all those needs above and are extremely professional and responsive by email. They evidently know their craft and show best practice with building codes. They got it done and more than what I had asked for and for cheaper than the competition. If I had known, I would have asked them to do my roofing rather than Sargeant's Roofing, not the best in reliability and transparency. A2Z looks, sounds, and feels reliable - So I think they are!

My partner and I own an old home (1912 build), and we have had a few very bad experiences with contractors across Edmonton (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, roofers, etc. etc.). To say that we are once bitten twice shy would be an understatement. And we needed a roof inspection. A2Z Roofing was: Patient: I'm a nervous wreck about these calls and Kayla was kind, patient, and lovely. I called approximately every 4 hours to impress upon her the urgency I was experiencing about this inspection. She never ever got annoyed, and reassured me regularly. Professional: See above; Kayla never lost her cool. Proficient: When Ziad showed up to take a look he asked all the right questions, got straight to his inspection, went above and beyond (no attic access? No Problem, I'll just get up there and look into your venting to see what's what..._) and mostly: Kept their promises - Ziad was on time, took his time, looked carefully and FOUND NOTHING WRONG! I was fully prepared to hear the worst, he said, nope, all good. Smiled, and we all went about our days. Amazing. Please consider them if you need a roof.

As a retired quality assurance professional I set high standards and expectations for service providers and not frequent do I find them meeting or exceeding the terms of reference. A2Z certainly surprised me with their work ethics and their level of skills set. The quality of their work is exceptional and the crew of seven worked 10 hours nonstop (half hour lunch and no breaks in-between) and finished the installation at the end of the day albeit late into the evening. I know this because I was at home all day watching them work, get a life, eh! And they didn't use the bathroom once; they must have great bladders! I didn't expect their goal was to have it done in one day and was later told by the supervisor it was unusual to have two crews on one site. The cleanup and followup inspection was thorough. The seven members Mexican crew was quiet, polite, efficient, and highly organized. If I had my own business I would lure these guys to come and work for me. A big kudos to them! Would I recommend A2Z...what do you think!

We had our shingles and eavestroughs done on our house and shed through A2Z. Ziad and Ali were in contact and made plenty of visits through the work to make sure we were happy and the work was satisfactory. The shingling crew did a fantastic job on our complicated roof. While not a quick job, they made sure to minimize disruptions to our day. Plus, it was nice to see fall-arrest harnesses used properly on a residential job. The eavestroughs were replaced to help with some pooling and dripping. And the crew put one in over our back door, where there wasn't one before. Workers were polite and tidy and we would be happy to recommend them to friends. Good value!!

I found the entire A2Z experience excellent. I received alot of great info in a timely manner from Kayla at the office and the roofers worked hard to get the roof completed quickly and it looks great. I appreciated that they put tarps down to contain the debris and garbage and they ensured that nothing was left behind. Ali came around a couple days later to check in and walked the perimeter of the house with a magnet to check for any small pieces of metal. He also provided helpful suggestions related to drainage off the roof and humidity. Very pleased with everything and will definitely recommend them.

A2Z Roofing understands customer service and as a result, I am a satisfied customer. There are lots of options out there with different price points. Some running expensive marketing campaigns on Youtube, with corresponding higher price points, others run out of a pickup truck peddling big box store shingles with low price points. I view A2Z as a healthy middle ground, a variety of options at varying price points and warranty coverage. You decide which package is right for you, their prices are better or competitive with every other roofing contractor I solicited for quotes. I’m a firm believer in doing my due diligence before making a big purchase. In an effort to get a fair deal and prevent headache, additional problems and expense down the road. My due diligence resulted in the selection of A2Z Roofing for my roof replacement, skylight flashing and resealing. When I noticed something was missed on my job, they were responsive, came to my house and made it right. They did not invoice me until after they had determined I was completely satisfied. Kudos to A2Z Roofing and Renovations Ltd. I had both my vinyl siding completely redone (with insulation installed as well) and my roof reshingled. I am very impressed with the amazing job they have done, and that is saying a lot as I am well known to be very picky and hard to please. Their customer service is outstanding. For the roof I was given four quotes depending on the grade of shingles used. Each quote fully explained what would be done and the warranties. Ali kept me informed of when the work would be done and contacted me upon completion to make sure I was happy with it. The siding job was a challenge as I needed special trim around all my windows to accommodate roll shutters. Igor rose to the challenge and made a difficult job achievable. He fully explained all my options for insulation and window trim as well as capping for upper window frames and chimney so they never need to be painted again. The crews that worked on the house showed excellent quality workmanship and paid great attention to every detail. They clearly take pride in their work. The crews cleaned up everyday and when the jobs were finished thoroughly cleaned everywhere so not a spec of debris remained. Everyone I dealt with was very concerned that I was completely satisfied. What incredible customer service. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone considering siding or roofing jobs.

A2Z Roofing just finished replacing our shingles and from start to finish provided professional and quality service. Ziad and Kayla provided several choices (Bronze, Silver or Platinum) for the estimate as well as choices for shingle color. The estimate also contained drawings and recommendations. The crew was delayed because of weather but arrived ready to work. They were courteous and respectful. They were also quiet with no radio blaring throughout the day as another company was while doing our neighbor's roof. Our neighbors definitely appreciated that. They moved things, tarped the area and protected the garage window. They proved they truly care about the customer! Ali came the day after the shingles were installed to inspect the job. He also cleaned the area again. He recommended we replace the chimney as it was rusting and also move the roof downspouts. Ali was also very helpful in informing me that the present gutters had some separation due to the weight of snow and that a leak could not be fixed at the joint because of this separation. Although the communication was a bit tough with booking the job, the experience was exceptional! The booking staff was patient and kind and tried really hard to explain everything. I really hope customers can make it past the first booking phone call and give this company a chance. My roof was damaged after a very bad wind storm in January. I talked with Ali of A2Z Roofing, he had workers repaired my roof a couple of days later even in such high demand time. I also had them replaced my gutter last May. I don't have water running over the front door anymore when the snow is melting. They did an excellent work. We always do a lot of research before any large purchases, and choosing the best roofing company is definitely a substantial investment. After speaking with three other companies and getting quotes, we quickly realized that A2Z was the best choice. Not only is their price very competitive, they are hands down the roofing company that goes above and beyond to install properly, and to the highest standards. Some examples of this are; using screws at all vents, instead of nails, and installing metal runs in all the valleys, instead of shingles. The roofers were incredible! They were professional, hard working, polite and very respectful to our property. They arrived on schedule, put tarps on the ground all around the perimeter of the house, using safety harnesses they tore the old roof off, and finished installing the new shingles the same day. They definitely are the best at what they do, and take great pride in it! They meticulously cleaned all around the perimeter of the house, making sure there were no nails or debris left behind. The manager, Mr. Basha, came the next day to inspect the work, and repeated the cleaning (thank you for your patience with my deliberations in selecting the colour, and for bringing large samples!). A2Z stands behind their work, and the quality of the products they use, and the warranty reflects it. We are so very happy with our new roof, and the peace of mind that working with the people from A2Z has given us! It's wonderful when you can find a company you can trust, and honestly recommend as the best!

I contacted A2Z to have them replace and re-seal the rain collar on our chimney. Kayla was polite and great to deal with over the phone and email. On Monday, the roofer (Harvey) came to take a look and some pictures. On Tuesday, he returned to replace and seal the rain collar. On Wednesday, he returned because when they were reviewing the pictures he took, they determined that the flashing wasn’t correctly installed previously so he also fixed that. Ali, the operations manager, called me the day after completing the job to ensure that I was happy with the service I received. I’m incredibly impressed with the punctuality and customer service. The cost was also fair and reasonable. I will definitely be contacting A2Z Roofing for any further roof concerns we have.

A2Z was doing the roof on my neighbour’s house and I was impressed with their work and the fact that they took the time to keep everything as tidy as possible. When Ali came by to inspect the neighbours roofing job I asked him to come over to quote on some gutters on my work shop. He popped over, replaced some flashing that was missing and gave me a quote. I was impressed that he would go out of his way to replace some flashing before he even quoted me. I went ahead and had them do the gutters and the crew was fantastic. They did a quality job in what seemed to be very little time. The final bill came in less then was quoted. I would definitely recommend A2Z and will use again when needed. Thanks guys!!

Our fascia flew off on a storm. I called A2Z based on the google reviews. I called to inquire for a quote, ZIAD got me to take a couple photos of the job and texted it to him and he gave me a quote within 5 minutes. He came out the next day with material and got the job done in an efficient manner. Communication was great, he called to give me a run down of the plan the day before, called on the day of on the way over, and now the job is done. From beginning to end it was less than 48 hrs. As a bonus, not only did we receive excellent service, but it was at a cost that was less than a competing roofer The owner, Ziad, replied quickly to my request for a quote. He brought samples of all the roofing materials and clearly explained the steps they would take in the reshingling process, including metal sheathing in the valleys and recommendations for new vents. The job commenced a week later and was completed in two days. The work crew of 2-3 people worked very hard for 11-12-hour days. Our house was built in 1982 and needed the shingles and eavestrough replaced. I decided I would ask 3 roofing companies to quote on the two jobs. I only wanted to talk to well established companies that had been in business for some time. I also wanted a roofing contractor that had WCB coverage for their workers and adequate insurance coverage to protect me as the property owner. There were numerous companies to choose from so I relied on several sites to read reviews from previous customers. I wanted to see at least 100 or more 5 Star reviews of a roofing company before they made my short list. Three well established Edmonton and area companies were selected and contacted for a quote and I received an immediate response from all three. A2Z Roofing was the first company to come by the house with a quote. One of the owners of the company brought me a detailed quote listing several different quality standards of shingles and he showed me numerous samples of shingle colors to choose from. The second company did the same a few days later. Unfortunately, the third company did not follow through with a quote as they were too busy. After careful comparison and evaluation, we selected A2Z Roofing to replace our shingles and eavestrough based on the quality and selection of materials, lower estimated cost, and the guarantee of material and workmanship. A few weeks later, the shingles were delivered and a day or two after that A2Z commenced work on my roof. Despite some rain delays, the crew was friendly, polite, and professional. Each day before leaving they would tidy up their tools and the work area which we very much appreciated. When the job was complete they were meticulous with clean up of the yard and used a rolling magnet to scour the yard and driveway for roofing nails. About a week later the eavestrough crew arrived and it only took them half a day or so to replace all of the eavestrough on our 2500 sq. ft. two story home. The eavestrough crew was also polite and professional and the yard was spotless when they left. Several days after both jobs were complete, Ali stopped by to inspect the work and ask if we had any questions or concerns. He got out his ladder and both of us went up on the roof and inspected both jobs. Needless to say I was very pleased with how everything turned out. The roof looks fantastic! From start to finish, A2Z Roofing were well organised and professional and provided me with quality materials and workmanship at a fair and reasonable price. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to my friends, family or anyone else.

After completing some due diligence by inviting a number of quotes from different roofing businesses, and asking around the neighbourhood, we settled with A2Z Roofing for a fresh set of Corning Duration Shingles. Of note, A2Z came to our house, completed an assessment of our roof in person, then had a meeting with us to present our options and their recommendations. Ziad was very professional, taking the time to explain the different offerings of shingles that he had, and his opinion. Then, Ziad noted that he could offer some extra attention to the valleys of our roof by installing some sheeting. After all was said and done, A2Z needed roughly 2 days to complete the job, and the results are beautiful. The staff are friendly and they worked hard through rain when the weather quickly changed. As promised, the extra attention to the valleys and areas where water would pass was done very well and looks quite smart. All of my wife’s flowers were left intact and the site was left clean. I recently had a 30 year cedar shingle roof replaced by A2Z Roofing. I had researched some Edmonton roofers on the web and received very expensive quotes from the first two I contacted. While driving though the neighborhood I saw a A2Z Roofing truck and decided to give them a call. The initial site visit with Ziad was impressive. He was on-time for the consultation and provided me with three different (and reasonable) options and costs within 24 hours. After reviewing the options and doing research I decided I wanted to upgrade to a more expensive but superior SBS modified asphalt shingle and Ziad was able to source this and re-quote very quickly. He also offered some suggestions as to creating a thicker ridgeline which resulted in a more pronounced look. The net result is amazing and we have one of the best looking roofs in this 1980s built neighborhood. What impressed me the most is the communication with Ziad during the job and his follow-up in the week after completion. Each day he inspected the shingles to ensure the crew did not miss anything. Also appreciated is that he did not nickel and dime me on any small changes I had requested, including a different vent I had researched that cost a few dollars more. He included this small upgrade at no cost, and even provided a couple of leftover bundles of shingles at the end of the job (important for future replacement of a shingle using the same dye lot for color if needed). Overall I was very impressed with his team's hard work and Ziad's attention to detail. I highly recommend A2Z roofing to anyone looking to have a roof replaced in Edmonton.

I'm not sure I have ever met anyone in the trades who was as respectful, knowledgeable and honest as Harvey. He took the time to ensure I understood what needed to be done and provided his opinion when I wasn't sure. A2Z was the first company to come to the house, look at the what were the existing shingles (cedar/shake) and gave us a complete description of what they would do and what our choices were for materials. The whole meeting was conducted outside due to the current pandemic. We were impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail. Other companies we interviewed did not present as well, one never went on the roof, quoted us from a satellite picture of the house. We had a pretty good experience with these guys (I've heard of some nightmare stories of some companies extending simple jobs to multiple days and leaving a mess). They did the whole roof in one 10-hour sprint, and did a really good job cleaning up after themselves (I found no nails, and one person came in with a vacuum to inspect the premises after the crew left). Two days after, there was a very windy day and a piece of fascia came off (it was only attached through nails, so it probably got loosened during the roof installation). Gave them call and that evening they fastened it on, so they really do own up to their work. It's been about 3 months and I've had no other problems.

We had our shingles changed by this company, timing and quality of the job was perfect from a to z. Ziad, the owner of the company, is a very dynamic and professional gentleman. The first time he showed on the site for an estimation he came equipped with all informations (shape and dimensions of our roof) and samples of roofing material (types of shingles, underlyment, metal valley flashings, drip edge, starter edge,... ). He explained, in details, what to be done; how and where will every piece be installed on the roof. Once the job is completed, he went on top and around the house carrying, once more, a thorough inspection. Now I am happy, I know what is in my roof. We have had issues with water entering our roof, water damming, and soffit venting concerns. A2Z was such a great choice to educate and overcome the seemingly complex issues. I was very impressed with the entire process, which I though was appropriately priced, for an excellent final product! This included a detailed walk-through and Q&A (Ziad); cost breakdown for all options; quick administrative process filled with information and advice (Kayla); excellent workmanship and products used. Everything we discussed up front was implemented efficiently by the workers. Alex informed me of the soffit and eaves trough plans, who's expert crew worked through a bit of a snow storm to complete. Both the roofing and soffit / eaves crews cleaned up nicely afterwards. Everything looks great, and Ali arrived after everything was complete to follow up with me, and offer some further advice and suggestions. I am feeling very satisfied and content that I can finally stop worrying about my roof. Thanks very much A2Z! (I will have to upload a picture in the spring when the snow melts)

During the Covid pandemic, I called a number of roofers to reshingle a small garage, noting that construction was considered an essential service. They all, with one exception, assured me that they would look at the job "next week". Of course, I'm still waiting for those roofers. The exception was A2Z Roofing, who looked at the job the same week and provided a written estimate the next week. To help us decide, they provided pictures of the shingles as well as the manufacturer so we were able to see the colour and quality of their work. Within a week of accepting the estimate, A2Z finished the job and cleaned up in an afternoon. They gave plenty of warning so we could get the car out of the garage. They even cleaned inside the garage to ensure that there weren't any nails for my tires to roll over when I put my car back in the garage. I appreciate A2Z responding when others didn't and I appreciated the personal care they gave us on our small renovation.

They were working on my neighbours roof. While doing so they threw the old roofing material into my fenced yard. When the worker came in and out of my yard they broke my gate. The owner agreed his employee admitted to breaking it. The boss / owner asked what I wanted done, I said I want it fixed. Several days passed, they were back again working on a roof and I approached the owner and asked what he intended to do. He seemed surprised that I wanted him to fix the gate. He then took pictures of the gate. I got tired of waiting for the repair to be completed so I went and bought items and tools to fix the gate my self.the gate is fixed. When I had my roof replaced only a month ago the contractor I used agreed that if there was any damages to the neighbours property it would be fixed immediately and with no questions or charges to the neighbour. Consider this as a condition to be addressed when using this company.

A2Z Roofing did a wonderful job on our roof and eaves troughs. We had a leak in the bathroom ceiling just before winter set in. They showed up quickly to check the leak and give us a competitive estimate. They finished roofing our house in 2 days, and did the eaves troughs just after that. The cost was right within their estimate and there were no hidden or unexpected costs. We asked them to take extra care with falling debris because we have dogs, and they did a nice job of tidying up any small, potentially hazardous material that had fallen into the yard. Two thumbs up to A2Z Roofing. We would use them again and also recommend them to family and friends.

I emailed them in the morning, they called in the afternoon, showed up that evening and made a plan for the following weekend for repairs. I recieved the quote the next day, gave approval. They showed up when they said they would, repaired it, showed me the problem and gave me options for repair (no extra cost).....waited for the next rainstorm and as I hoped there were no leaks. I’m pleased to review A2Z Roofing and Renovations after having had them complete a couple of projects for me recently; new 5 inch eaves-troughs for the house and garage as well as fascia and soffits for the garage. They were prompt to provide a written estimate and the work was done soon after I had accepted the quote. What struck me most about the team who came out was how organized and conscientious they were and it was clear that customer satisfaction is a value and priority for this company. The work was very well done and the clean-up left no sign of their having spent a day here. I was also struck and very pleased that they were quiet in doing their work; by this I mean no Boom boxes or shouting to each other on the work site. As a matter of fact, two of my neighbours commented on this in particular. I have already recommended this company to others and wish them continued success in Edmonton.

I was looking to change shingles for my house and the garage almost few months. After doing lots of studies and met lots of roofers I have decided to go with A2Z roofing company. The owner Ziad came for consultation and provided me 3 quotes, inspected attic and guided me by providing necessary information about roofing. His quot were covered all necessary work and materials. Contrary other roofers I have met were like a sales person and they were keep adding stuff on their quotes which I wasn't happy with. Anyhow Ziad answered all my questions an he brought sample materials with him and demonstrated how and why he is using those materials. I was satisfied with his professionalism and sign the contract with him. Within a week him and his crew came by and finished both the house and the garage in two days. They left no garbage behind. We looked up ratings for roofers in Edmonton and A2Z was one of 3 we contacted . Went to their office and looked at products and services they were offering, left with lots of good information. Contacted two other companies and got their quotes for equivalent work. We compared all quotes and felt they would be best value for the money and workmanship. After committing to job we were given a reasonable estimated starting date of 3:to 4 weeks. 2 weeks later we got call that they had opening and could they get started? Bonus 1. Crew showed up and firstly rang door bell and explained how job would progress and did we have any questions or concerns. Bonus 2. All through job crew were courteous and no loud music or cursing which is so common with jobs like this. Bonus3. Twice through job manager s dropped by to see how they were doing and did they need anything. Bonus 4. Extra care was taken when replacing vents and stacks using screws to secure them so no need to reseal every few years. Bonus 5. Crew did great cleanup only found I nail and 1 cellophane strip that was hidden behind garden gnome. At the end of the day manager came back for a final inspection and will fix anything he sees. Also did another cleanup and blew off dust and granulars from sidewalks and patio. Bonus 6. We have had a few roofs replaced in our time but have never had such a good experience. From the initial meeting and see products they offer and how it is installed to excellent crew that showed up early to do a great job followed by perfect cleanup. This is all due to the owner and management team. We also had gutters done with the same results At this point we are totally satisfied with material and installation and would highly recommend this company they seem to go above and beyond in this day and age Sincerely Doug and Sheila

We just had our roof and eaves trough replaced and we are satisfied beyond all expectations ! Ziad estimated the job then explained what would be done and the materials needed ,He brought samples of these materials as well as a choice of different quality shingles. We decided to go with A2Z and in a very short time the A2Z crew showed up and completed our fairly large roof in a professional manner. At the end of the first day the work site was cleaned and left in great shape. The next day the crew came in at 9am and worked through the day and completed the roof. A few days later the eaves trough crew came in asked if there were any concerns and completed their job. Cody did a great job on our roof and did repairs to our gutters and down spouts. He also sent us drone pictures throughout the project daily, to view the progress and workmanship. They changed out some rotted plywood, and added vents that were desperately needed.
