As a retired senior, I was devastated when my previous snow clearer went out of business overnight after they had been paid for the whole winter season. Good riddance! PJC came to the rescue and does a far better and professional job ... Reliable ... I don't go out very often but can trust them to keep driveway clear in short order after a storm and even after just a few centimeters. PJC .. PJC Lawn& Snow removal came to the rescue a couple of winters ago just before a big winter storm was expected. I was very thankful and pleased with their service. Since the previous snow clearing company abruptly canceled their service. PJC is very professional even sending out email notifications when they will be passing to clear the snow from the driveway. I would recommend their services you won’t be disappointed.

Their service is so accurate, you receive e-mail notifications the night before, or even sometimes overnight to advise when they will be passing to plow, and this always gave me the chance to move my cars. Please do not use this company. They are basically unprofessional and will damage your property and act like they did nothing wrong. They hit and damaged my car over two weeks ago while clearing my neighbors driveway. Over 800$ worth of damages. Driver was texting instead of driving and would not have even stopped if I had not signaled him that I saw him hit my car. To this day, this company has not returned my calls or emails, not even to just apologize, never mind to offer to pay for the damages they caused to my car. So if you use this company beware and if your neighbor uses this company also beware!

WORST SERVICE, SLOPPY AND DANGEROUS PLOUGH DRIVERS. Never give a courtesy call so that we can move cars from driveway. R. Landry cleared our neighbours driveways twice before PJC showed up - at 11 pm. Had already shovelled the driveway ourselves to get cars off the street. Won't answer phone, and the next morning the plough driver ignored us as we stood in middle of road waving our arms for 5 min. Drove off. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Don't be fooled by this guy Peter. He ruined my lawn with his fertilizer and won't repair it. He doesn't even have a licence to apply such products. I complained to the Quebec Environment department and said they will investigate and fine him if necessary. Be careful when signing with a contractor for applying fertilizer or pesticides, you can verify with your city to see if they have the proper permits to do so.

This is the second year I’ve used PJC for snow removal but it will be the last. Early on in the season they cleared too far up my driveway and damaged a metal gate in my garden. There is a cedar in the garden and several large shrubs so clearly they shouldn’t have been clearing that area as it is not a driveway. After emailing several times and sending pictures of the damage they have not reimbursed me. They did acknowledge the damage though, by installing a marker in front of the garden. Way to go but too late! Once the snow melted I also discovered that they crushed the downspout for the eaves, which is only a few years old. If you want property damage that will not be reimbursed, by all means, hire them to do your snow removal.

I have had a good experience with them. I think snow removal is not an exact science and one must help out the contractor by removing obstacles and marking stuff. Its not very expensive a service when you think about it. Try going a season on your own. And as for fertilizers, ive had no problems. One can opt out of this as well . Every company ive had and the city at some point has been imperfect. I think one must have reasonable expectations. Ive had PJC for 2 years, and no damage done.

Mr. Carbray was particularly appreciated when, a few years ago, a competitor went out of business (after collecting fees from clients). HORRIBLE COMPANY. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I feel like we have been dealing with a company uncapable of a civilized conversation, that's always on the offense, that's completely UNPROFESSIONAL and rude. We've been using them for a few years now for snow removal and they've been great, much better and more professional than the other company we were using before. I like that they hire adults to drive the tractors, and not the young kids so many other companies hire, and so they act in a much more professional manner, taking a few extra moments to actually do a good job. They also come earlier which I like, so I can get my car out of my driveway at 8:00am.
