Barleon Construction is run by Michael Grempel. Used for back yard reno including window installation and patio work. Sloppy communication, disorganized, and never present. Did not respect his quote (because he didn't take the time to do it correctly). He insisted that we pay $6000 cash in advance to order patio stones in June, but when his subcontractor started work (in august) he said the material was never ordered and it wasn't even Michael who orders, it's the contractor. His crew ruined our new pool liner and Michael did not take any responsibility for it. He left us to try to sort it out with his subcontractor.

I was subcontractor for this ..... no ever ever engage this compagnie. Hi s got long tongue but short hands. You will wait months after the 1st.payment. I lost 6000$ in 2 months that I did his contract. Never have been paid. If you engage him your job will never be done at your schedule.

Absolutely horrible. I have hired many contractors and never ever had so many issues as I did with Barleon. Be careful of Mikhail Gremple, he tries to present himself as upstanding. Do not be fooled. Over the course of what should have taken a few weeks I went through months and months of excuses as why my deck was not being built. So much that I was not believing his reasons, which turned out I was correct to not believe the excuses. If you are reading this and its too late and you already hired him please, please document everything!!! pictures, text, emails. You may need it going forward as he does more damages than errors than anything. He had a basic 8x4 deck and its the wrong color. The color I chose was on the contract even with that he messed up. The stairs are not stable at all they bounce because they are not well supported. Horrible
