This excavation company was referred to me through a contractor and I am very pleased. We had them remove an old oil tank from the property and then they helped us backfill a septic tank installation. I was really happy with the results and the cost. We did a major renovation of our house which included adding a new waterline out the front and putting in piping to aid with water issues in the backyard. When we came by to check on what was happening, the guy in the excavator was hand digging around a gas line that crossed where the waterline was going to go. I was impressed because a mere few weeks before, our neighbours had a crew break their gas line. They installed pipe in the backyard and since then, we have had no water issues back there. All the guys were really polite and seemed intent on getting the job done. Our contractor had no issues with them.

I would not recommend this business to anyone. We have call this company many times but can not even get a quotation. They get your name and job address when you are calling in and tell you that someone will contact you, however, no one call back...

We have used JR Excavation several times over the last decade and have always found the dispatching reliable, pricing as quoted and everyone who came onto our sites was always friendly and ready to work. Most recently we used them for a stone slinging job where we needed to place mulch in an area where machines were not accessible on a terrace. Their new equipment was perfect for the job and it saved us days of labor and quite a nice cash savings as well. If you are considering demolishing a house, back-filling your property or need aggregate placed with precision, then we would recommend JR Excavation as your goto contractor in Metro Vancouver.

Operator and trucks working on Site in Alderside Dr. Are Totalllly awesome. Operator does not make a mess of material taken off site into dump trucks. Operator also keeps good line of communication throughout whole day. Truck drivers listen and communicate with Lane Tech/flaggers. Great people to work with. Keep up the great work guys.

i've used these guys for about 5 years now and honestly they've been great, mostly slinger and dumptruck services and they're always on time, very accomodating when i need them on short notice and the dispatch and accounting ladies are super friendly and easy to deal with which is important in my opinion, i highly recommend this company
