Bought an old house with detached shed. Found the shed to be leaking this winter and called a number of roofing companies, not only was Army the first one to return my call, Tom was there THAT DAY to have a look and right away quoted me a repair and fit me in within a couple weeks. Work was done all in one day and they cleaned up after themselves very well. 100% impressed on my end. Would recommend them to anyone who asks.

From starting with a quote to finishing with clean up, the Army Roofing team was amazing. At first we thought it would be very overwhelming but with Toms expertise and knowledge, he helped steer us in the right direction of which roof to go with. Tom and his team were very professional and the craftsmanship of the work tells all. After every shift, the guys did an amazing clean up and had everything tidy when they left. Even all the nails and debris that was from the stripping of the old roof, which is key when having young children. I would highly recommend Tom and the Army Roofing Crew. If you want a great local roofing company to help you with your new roof installation, Army roofing is the company!

During a recent wind storm it became apparent that we could wait no longer to deal with the roof. This family run and local business stepped up and was just what we needed. The were reasonable, professional and efficient. They dealt with existing ventilation issues and in a matter of 2 days we have a new roof we will never again have to worry about. tom from army roofing spoke to my roommate a few weeks ago and agreed to come out and have a look and give a quote...no show and no call....i called and spoke to tom last week, and he agreed to an appt with me two days later, again no show and no call....i did not realize this was the same guy/ same company that already missed an appt...i guess tom has too many jobs and too much money in the bank to bother keeping track of his appts or keeping phone numbers to call back....i am sure that he does a great job once he gets on the roof and starts repairs or replacements, but i will not be calling this guy....two missed appts is not worth MY TIME...if tom wants to dispute this review then i am happy to provide my name, address and calling history

We highly recommend Army Roofing! Tom provided a very reasonable quote and answered our many questions promptly. Our whole re-roofing experience went so smoothly! First Tom coordinated with BC Hydro to get our line dropped to replace the fascia boards. Then he and his sons arrived right on time to start the job. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were professional, courteous, and extremely tidy throughout the whole job, always updating us on their progress and cleaning up at the end of each day. Excellent service and workmanship, attention to detail was very impressive. Started on a Monday with a crew of three, finished on Thursday. Impressive when you consider our 2,800 square foot, 25 year old shake roof had to be removed along with almost 200ft of torch on gutter, followed by installation of sheeting, new gutter membrane and flashing, architectural shingles with a continuous ridge vent, 25 feet of facia that needed replacement and two skylights. The driveway and lawn areas were swept with a magnet to pick up stray nails. There was virtually no refuse or material that did not make into the dumpster. If anything, the ground around the house was left in better condition than Army found it. Highly recommended if you are in need of a new roof.

I was looking for a roofing company, and I did it with some experience from engineering work I have done in the past 18 years. looking at the web, talking to friends and asking referrals, it came down to 4 shortlisted company that I asked quoting. 3 of them did well business wise and at the top was Tom the owner of army roofing. He personally visited my house in Lynn valley, North Vancouver, provided the same night a highly accurate quote that I could tell exactly what is going to be done, and at the top a price that bit the competitors and did not signal that he is a cheap contractor that would compromise the quality. Tom the owner and his sons performed the job, they are true Canadian company, hold their promise to time table, did the job on time as promised, did not negotiate after work even he did some extras for us to change few ply woods, cleaned the area nicely and left us with a quality job done and a sense of happiness about money we paid. He provided the workmanship guarantee as he promised and used the top material as mentioned. Thank you Tom again and hope you go strong as you did in the past 30 years.

I’ve been waiting for a solid night of rain to give an honest review of Army roofing. We are extremely happy with our new roof. Our roof has a large low slope area and Tom was able to identify problem areas and then recommended replacing only the flat area with the appropriate sheeting. We appreciated his honesty in sharing with us and recognizing that the entire roof did not need reshingling. They are respectful, professional, honest and kind. A very easy 5 stars!!!

I contacted Army roofing on Thursday, Aug 8, 2019. A roof vent had come off and I asked them to come look at it and possibly repair it. They said they would be here at 10:00 the next morning, Friday, Aug. 9. By 1:30, they had not come and I had not heard from them. I texted and called and left a message on their voice mail. Not only did they not show up....not only did they not contact me and tell me they were not going to show up, but they didn't even have the courtesy to respond to my text or voice mail. Very bad business practice. I called another company late Friday afternoon and the president called me back within 1/2 hour and said he was in Kelowna, but would be back Monday. He was at my place by 11:30am that monday morning. Guess who is going to get my business to fix the roof?

I reached out to this company to repair wind damage to my roof "Tom" directed me to text him my address and he would drop by my residence at 9:30 the next day, Tuesday. 9:30 came and went, no Tom. I texted Tom the following day. Tom responded with they were busy and he wasn't going to make it. I replied "Tom you could have called??" Tom offered 9:00am Thursday morning. I agreed. Well Thursday came and went again. I figured with this lack of professionalism poor workmanship would follow. I texted "Tom" and said "It goes without saying I won't be needing his services and I was not impressed. I also said I would make my opinion know and would be making my opinion known" Tom responded with a threat against me! Wow I thought I would have offered an apology and the incident would have been forgotten. Nope Tom doubled down. How unprofessional I thought. One would do better by continuing to look for another professional company

Phoned twice last Tuesday and e-mailed them to tell them about a leak that we have. Their website says will return your e-mail within the hour and/or 1 business day. Guess what?????No phone call nor e-mail. Bad bad service, will not suggest Army Roofing to anyone. Oh and by the way, we've gone with another roofer who was out and inspected and gave us a quote. You snooze you lose Army Roofing!!!!!

Aside from a good quality roof I recieved from Army, I was walking through the home show two years after my roof install and came across the army roofing booth. Tom immediately greeted me by name and asked me about personal things he remember. That to me says at Army you are viewed much more than just a number. I highly recommend these guys.

Tom and his crew have been great from start to finish. Such great work ethic, professionalism and attitude is so rare these days… My roof is perfect and I am fussy about detail! The job included built in gutters, facias plus resolving a few difficult issues. Overall the quote was very reasonable and the few extra costs all made perfect sense. Tom shows up early for appointments and had a detailed quote to me within 24 hrs. I have a had a lot of work done on my home over that last 7 years fully renovating it and have worked with many people, Tom and his crew really top the list of the best that I have worked with. ARMY Roofing is an unreliable company. I needed a roofing repair, and Tom, the owner of ARMY Roofing, sent me an email that he would be going over to take a look at the roof on May 11, 2019. However, Tom never did show up. I then sent Tom, the owner of ARMY Roofing, two additional emails, asking when Tom was going to come over and take a look at the roof. Tom never bothered to answer my emails. I then phoned ARMY Roofing twice and left messages for Tom to call me back, regarding taking a look at the roof. Again, Tom never bothered to return my phone calls. I do not recommend using this company.

I called for an appointment, man said he’d be here next day at 10. I Texted at 11:30 asking when he’d be here, he said shortly. He didn’t show up. Radio silence. Texted the next day, he apologized and said he could come by next day at noon. Again no show, no call, no nothing. What kind of a business is this?! Fine be late, reschedule... no problem... But at least LET ME KNOW! I was waiting around all afternoon, TWICE. I honestly Can’t understand how these guys can have a successful business with this kind of customer service. Absolutely don’t recommend.
