After our 40 degree heatwave, I decided I'd had enough and wanted to be comfortable in my own house, so I got some quotes to install a central air system along with a new high efficiency gas furnace. Temprite came highly recommended from a friend, and they were the most responsive of the 3 companies I contacted and also came in with the most reasonable quote. The quote included everything, including electrical work. Other companies said I would have to organize this myself. The gals and guys showed up on time and had the entire system installed and running in a day. They were very friendly and worked hard to get the job done. We love the new furnace! So quiet and provides great heat. Can't wait for summer to come back to switch on the A/C!

In the middle of the hottest temperatures we have had, when everyone wanted a ductless air conditioning system, I stopped by, asked a few questions & requested someone come to give a quote. A date was arranged for 2 days from then. Keanan arrived 5 minutes early, knew exactly where to find the necessary wiring ( I live in a condo so it isn't as simple as running wires through the attic ) within 10 minutes........the other company I had come told me they would have to drill holes in my walls to find where the wires went!) & where the wiring came out on the outside. I received my quote within a couple of hours of Keanan's visit. This man knows his stuff & is extremely efficient. Would highly recommend this company.

I recently had Temprite Climate Solutions convert my old Forced Air Electric Furnace and Electric Water Heater to a Gas Furnace and Water Heater. I have nothing but positive feelings for the expertise and quality of the work done. All of the technicians and salesperson were very courteous and knowledgeable and the timing with Fortis Gas installing the gas line to my home made the transition very smooth and I never experienced any disruption. Not only that, my previous horrendous electricity bill I had to pay to B.C. Hydro will drop substantially as I noted my electricity usage on their website plummeted substantially when the installation was complete. I highly recommend Temprite Climate Solutions.

We moved into our new house in 2015, and have had on going problems with everything another company installed in our house. It cost my contractor and my family tons and tons of money, (mold in the attic, a fire place that never worked properly, and recently it has been found that some of the return lines in my crawl space have to be replaced with the correct ducting). St. George's United Church

St George’s United Church in Courtenay BC recently completed an HVAC system retrofit which involved the replacement of four oil burning furnaces with natural gas furnaces and installing a 4 zone split heat pump system to both cool and heat the offices. We believe this new system will substantially reduce our heating costs. We chose Temprite to do this project because right from the beginning we were impressed with the professionalism of Temprite staff in the initial presentation and the follow up in answering any of our questions. We then went into the project knowing exactly how and when it would progress. The entire project was completed “on time and on budget”. Temprite was most helpful in the process of securing a rebate from Fortis. We had some asbestos remediation to do and Temprite advised us of contractors who perform that remediation. The Temprite technicians worked around that delay to finish their work. When the project was complete the work areas were very neat and orderly. We were assisted in learning the operation of all thermostats and advised of available service and maintenance intervals for our totally new HVAC system. From our experience, we certainly recommend Temprite Climate Solutions for any heating or cooling needs.

We chose to have Temprite come and give us an estimate for a ductless mini split heating/cooling system based on their posted reviews. They had an estimator come to see us and he spent time reviewing our needs and discussing options. He responded within a couple of days with not only an estimate of cost for what we asked for but also provided options which we had not even considered. We then had more questions so he invited us to their shop to see the items working and also go through our questions one by one. We left feeling more confident in what we wanted and placed the order based on that comfort. The install was booked quickly and the day they arrived on time and worked professionally completing the install in one day although two days were booked just in case the extra day was needed. They cleaned up and left everything tidy and took the time to explain how it all worked. Overall we are very happy with the entire experience with Temprite and would highly recommend them.

I Was quoted $12,000+ for new furnace, duct cleaning + minor duct repairs (plus 99&tax for the assesment) and a next week installation, phoned around and Whiskey Jack HVAC in Cumberland came and did the same job for $6,108.52 and showed up 2 days later, plus their on site estimate was free . Temprite staff were very friendly but I felt like their quote was insanely high/gouging. If the price feels too high your probably right. I saved almost 50% by using Whiskey Jack HVAC and you should too!!!

There was a team of professionals that came to install the furnace and did a great job. The two minor points of improvement I would suggest are regarding team communication. I had emailed the office a couple times regarding our not being at home on the day of the installation and where the key would be; however, on the day of installation I was getting texts from the team asked when I would be able to let them in. The other part was that they said that they would swing by later on the installation day and drop of the CO2 monitor however that has not happened. Otherwise quite pleased with everything. I will be contacting the office regarding the CO2 monitor. Addendum: I was contacted the next day and informed that the CO2 detector had already been installed. As well a team member swung by with another CO2 detector and an extra furnace filter. Amazing customer service and very eager to make it right! Thanks for much!

The heat pump maintenance was good but had to book another day in November to get the water on demand done which was scheduled at the same time as the heat pump. The tech told me that he didn’t have the tool to do it. Not impressed with rebooking another day.
