They started work on a Tuesday and they were finished on Friday, just like he said he would be. We could not be more impressed with how they left the yard every day. I am very pleased with my Ironwood roof. It looks amazingly like shakes. Friends and family were expecting a more industrial looking roof. They were surprised at how good the roof looks and how well it fits into the neighborhood. I have received nothing but complements on the appearance. We have had very hot weather since the roof was installed and my fears that the house would be warmer were without merit. In fact, I think it may be a little cooler. I would have no hesitation in recommending this type of roof.

We had a horrible run in from a roofing company that gave us the run around sold us there product then never showed to install the roof. We were left with product and an old roof that wouldn't make it through the next winter. Needless to say we were furious and panicking about getting this project done. Then we called Len with Ironwood, they came in the next day gave us a better quote then the previous company, and showed up to do the work immediately after they completed the last job. They really saved the day the whole back side of the roof had to be replaced and even with the extra price for repairs they still came in under the price of the other roofing company. An excellent job. We chose Ironwood for our home because we liked the longevity of the product. The roof was installed over top of the asphalt shingles, which saved waste in landfills. Our new roof looks great! We had looked at re-roofing with asphalt/duroid shingles but, as our existing roof with the supposed 40-year product of that type only lasted 22 years, we decided to bite the bullet on the cost and replace it with metal roofing from Ironwood. And as a previous reviewer has said, we don't plan on re-roofing again during our lifetime. The hardest part was deciding on the right colour for our roof. But Len and Dave stepped up to help in this regard and even placed some large samples up on our roof in advance so that we could make a well-informed decision. The roofing installers - Greg and Tom - did an excellent job from start to finish including cleanup. We've had many compliments on our new roof from friends and neighbours. Thanks, Ironwood!

Bought a house that had a roof installed by Ironwood Shake and Shingle 5 years before. Prior to buying, I checked with ISS to make sure the warranty was still active, as it is a metal roof. They assured me it was. After purchasing the house, they decided to inform me that they won't be honouring any warranty (installation or manufacturers) and would not reply to my enquiries as to why. The emails I received from them were rude at best and I will be sure to let everybody I know to deal with a different roofing company.
