Very disappointed with the service. They didn't need my business and seemed to think they were doing me a favour. Maybe they were only interested in commercial jobs. They "dragged their feet", said they would order me parts, but didn't and charged me $80 for a service call. Not impressed with their customer service at all and they never did deliver. We had to go elsewhere to get what we wanted. Will not go back under any circumstances. Very happy with the service we got at Plateau.

They gave a quote on a simple job. The actual price was double the quote and the job was not at all what we wanted. No apologies.

Made an appt, left work early as the receptionist requested so I could meet the service tech at home and they didn't show up. When I called them up she was very rude and arrogant. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone not even my enemies. Only gave 1 star because it wouldn't let me post without rating. They deserve no stars

We had a quote for a heat pump done by Bennet a week or so ago. (They are the Costco provider). The estimator, Terry, was very professional, answered all my questions, and had a quote to us in a timely manner. We ended up going with another company through no fault of Bennet. Their quote was inline with other quotes, and their offerings comparable, but you can only choose one. After weighing all our options we ended up with the other guy - but still highly recommend Bennett. Our experience with them, while limited, was a very positive one and deserving of a 5 star review.

Not very good service!! I called in early April and set up an appointment for April 18 at 11am, at the new house I bought, the pilot would not light for the building inspector on the gas fireplace. No one showed, I drove to my old house and phoned, Andrew got in touch with Tim and the Tim called to say he would be there when he was done the job he was on. I drive back up to the new place and he shows up. Cleans the pilot, gets it going, cleans the glass, checks it all out says it is working fine and puts the glass back on. Several day later I turn on the fireplace and this awful smell is filling my house. I think maybe I can burn it off, and open all the windows to let the smell out. no such luck, I tried again several days later and the same thing. I call and leave a message on Andrews phone and don't hear back from him so call again 2 days later and get all kinds of excuses about doing inventory so he didn't answer his voice mail. He says he will send Tim up first thing Tues morning. Tim does not show, but another worker does, he listens to what the problem is and then checks out the fireplace, the smell immediately starts and he is here about an hour, cleaning the glass, again without the chemical spray and leaves saying he will have to come back with another cleaner to try that, well it has been a week since that and I have not heard back from anyone. Good thing it is spring and I don't need the heat, but!!!

Had my heat pump and furnace installed by Bennetts quite a few years ago. They have always had amazing service and we get our heating system and fireplace serviced by them annually. The technician that comes out is always friendly and seems very knowledgeable. I wouldn't go anywhere else and definitely recommend them!

I recently had a gas tankless hot system system installed to replace my old gas water heater. It’s been a long time since I was around a crew that showed that much professionalism. I was truly impressed with not only their knowledge but also in the way that they worked together coordinating how the project was to be undertaken and double checking to see that the steps were completed. I do know that in today’s society, most times, a company only hears when something is wrong. I believe that a company needs to know when something is working right.

We moved into a patio home with a very noisy 8 yr old Lennox gas fireplace. Ordered a new fan/thermocoupler kit from Bennett's hoping to reduce the noise...no luck, still noisy...but the repairman did not give up... ordered a newer reostat... yeah.... enjoying the warmth of a VERY quiet gas fireplace!

I am being asked to "describe my experience". In the case of Bennet Sheet Metal that is rather difficult, as we have not managed to have an "experience". After a site visit, several emails, phone calls, etc etc we have yet to receive a quote from the company. At this point we are giving up and using one of their competitors, regardless of whether or not they are more expensive. Reliability is more important than saving a few bucks.

Bennett Sheet metal replaced my heat pump system last winter after ours quit. We had called out a service tech hoping it could be repaired, however it was time for replacement. They got to our new unit installed fairly quickly during the cold months. The young men who did the install were kind and kept the place clean when finished.
