Picture it...Easter/Passover weekend, 2 dinners with a zillion people back to back and a sink that's clogged. What do you do? Well, I called Dr. Drain. Dr. Drain was away on holiday but still answered his phone. He then proceeded to guide me over the phone on how to unclog my sink. The whole thing took under 10 minutes and my sink worked perfectly afterwards. What a guy!!!!!

We have a problem with the toilet for the last 3 weeks in the basement as flushing make bubbling noises, and sometime water coming back from the floor drain. We search for a good plumber company on the west island, and select out the 2 best compagnies. I talked to Guy the owner of Dr.. Drain, and within 2 hours later, 2 young men (Alex and Max) came over our house. I describe the symptoms and within minutes, Alex told me right away that the problem is with the backwater valve. They locate it quickly and open up the lid, and found that the trapdoor was loose and blocking partially the drain. Service was done efficiently, and they checked everything is in working order, and clean up the area before leaving. THE whole time both of them conduct their business with courtesy, politeness with a smile and very pleasant talks . Their charges are very competitive for the time spent at my house. I would not hesitate to call again and would recommend strongly for their professional service, trustworthy and pleasant manners. They did a great job of cleaning our building's blocked drain in about an hour. The first company (specializing in blocked drains) that came spent three hours, charged a lot and weren't able to fix the problem (they wanted to return and open up the walls!). Duchesne came within a couple hours of calling and provided great service and tips for a reasonable price.

About a month ago, we had water/waste returning into our basement shower. Our main drain was blocked. During the morning and early afternoon the water would reach the blockage and then return slowly in the afternoon and then drain overnight. We called a few plumbers, checked their reviews and settled on Dr. Drain. Called them, and they showed up the next day in the afternoon. Worked 3+ hours to get the drain auger to break thru the blockage, roots, gravel and cement. Fished the camera thru and at 99ft noticed that the drain on the city side is broken. City's problem. It's messy, lay down old sheets, and have city documents on hand for the plumber to fill in to bring to the city and a usb key, if it's the city's responsibility. Polite and reassuring young men, Alex and Max. Thank you.

Guy is the brain at Dr. Drain. There is nothing in this world that he cannot resolve. In my case it was a gas hot water furnace that had exploded. It happened in December, and the forecast for the coming week was going to be in the minuses. He came on Friday, saw the issue and told me that it would be easier and less time consuming to replace the whole thing rather than repair the old furnace. He returned on Monday with a furnace and installed it. By Tuesday, everything was installed and and working marvelously. My home was toasty and warm. Thank you for everything Guy Duchesne!

natural Gaz did an yearly inspection and found an issue with my water tank and closed it off for security reasons. I called Dr.Drain , in a matter of 20 minutes a hot water tank was delivered to my house and two guys showed up to install it. During the time they emptied the old tank through the sub drain the sub pump caught fire. so the sub pump was replaced in a matter of minutes.I was amazed at the great service the guys gave and clean job they did. the price was also reasonable. I would recommend Dr.Drain and his crew to anyone no problem.
