We had our windows and front entrance replaced. The concrete stairs and front brick was removed. A new set of stairs and landing were constructed. The brick was replaced with cultured stone. I am quite satisfied with the completed project. John's crew and the sub trades did a great job.

We had extensive renovations done to our house over the past 6 months. These included a complete gutting and re-building of our master bathroom, powder room and our living-room. We also replaced a tub with a walk-in shower in our guest room, added built-in storage in the rec. room, upgraded lighting throughout the house, replaced tiles and carpeting, painted the entire house inside and out and added extra kitchen cabinets. We worked with an interior designer who provided very detailed specs for the work, so that there were no surprises at the end. We are extremely pleased with the results. The quality of the work is excellent and it was a pleasure working with John, his crew and the professionals (plumbers, painters, electricians, tilers, etc) he employs. Even though the work was done during the pandemic and we remained in the house throughout the entire six months, everything went very smoothly. John is a good problem solver; if something is not quite right, there's no need to argue: he will find a solution and fix it. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I had high hopes with Mr Build based on reputation and recommendations. Maybe they do good work if you can get them to respond? All polite enquires via email on their site and 3 follow up phone calls. Absolutely zero follow up. Their website promises much but the reality is, well it’s like they are not really there?!!! Very disappointed.
