Lacey Construction built our home for us and they were amazing from start to finish. Several people teased us before we started that they felt sorry for whatever builder we chose as we are known to be pretty picky :), but they were as fussy for us as we were. Very professional and they worked closely with us making sure during the whole process that any concerns we had were addressed right away and taken care of. We are so incredibly happy with our home and would recommend them to anyone!

We first met with Simon (renovation manager) and Tanya (designer), they both brought knowledge and expertise to the table. Simon truly understands the hiccups and challenges that can come along with an old house renovation. Our house was no exception. He accurately accounted for the curve balls that might come our way and kept us in the loop throughout the process. Tanya listened to our needs, wants, and dreams. From the very first set of inspiration pictures she sent me, I knew we were in sync with the vision for our space. Tanya was easy to talk to and put exceptional effort into the layout and details of our home. I highly suggest utilizing her services. Although some aspects of the renovation I had clear ideas for, she supported me and guided me through the decisions that I was stuck on. Tanya didn’t miss a detail in accounting for esthetic appeal but also functionality for our busy family. We are forever thankful to her. It is obvious that management takes pride in creating a positive culture for their employees and hires kind, knowledgeable, passionate, and understanding professionals. All of the Lacey staff were easy to talk to, skilled, punctual, and attentive. They strive to go above and beyond. All of the tradespersons had strong communication skills and took pride in their work. I would like to especially thank Rachel and Blain for their contributions, check-ins, and willingness to answer any questions that would arise. Even though our renovation was on an old house with some surprises in its bones, Lacey had already planned and accounted for the unexpected. Their knowledge of the potential issues that could arise, and the methods to deal with these situations, meant our renovation ran smoothly and stress-free. The team at Lacey Construction exceeded our expectations and made our house a home. This renovation has changed our lives. Our home now has tons of storage, more space to move entertain, the new open concept is welcoming, and our kitchen is now a place well all love to be. Thank you so incredibly much, to everyone at Lacey Construction. We truly appreciate all that you have done for our family.

We met with Lacey Developments and immediately felt comfortable with Simon and appreciated his helpful suggestions and friendly manner. Lacey’s designer Tanya helped pick out our tile. Utilizing Tanya’s expertise made the process of selecting tile a focused exercise, preventing us from being overwhelmed by the numerous choices. The entire team, from the start to the end of the project were professional, considerate, and highly skilled. Although every person who worked on our bathroom was excellent, two people were outstanding. Drew, the tiler, did an amazing job carefully matching the tiles to create a “flow” from one tile to the next. Kevin, the on-site foreman, not only worked closely with us, keeping us informed as to the timeline, his own skills were top notch. His attention to detail and quality of work was unbelievable. Lacey Developments is an excellent company that took our bathroom from basic builder grade to a magazine quality show piece!

We had used Lacey Construction for our recent duplex development @ Sasquatch Mountain Resort. After hearing great things from the people at the Fraser Valley Regional District as well as people in the community it was a no brainer to have them build our project. I had personal dealings with Erik, Lesa, Claire and a few others on their team and found they were very professional, punctual, responsive and helpful. We finished the project in November of 2019 and I find myself still talking to them occasionally because they are such wonderful people. Our home had 1 or 2 minor issues after completion and Team Lacey was there in a heartbeat. I highly recommend using them, Even the app they use to allow you to see progress is impressive. I loved being able to see photos without even being in the area! Thank you Lacey Construction!

I don’t often write reviews, it has to be something spectacular for me to feel the need to comment. Such is the case of my experience with Lacey Construction. I was seeking a contractor to renovate our kitchen. My experiences with other contractors for other parts of our house remodel was less than stellar. I found Lacey through Houzz. I was impressed by their credentials and the many positive reviews. So I called them. From my first meeting with Simon Poulton, I immediately felt I could trust them to do my kitchen renovation. Simon was friendly, honest and very down to earth. We discussed my vision and he provided me with various options and suggestions to consider. Once we agreed on the work to be done, a timetable was put in place. The workers were all exceptional and skilled in their own specialities, and were multi-talented. Everyone was always on time and worked diligently. They made sure the work space was kept clean throughout the project, and most important to me, I was kept informed all the way, from who was coming to do what and when. From start to finish, the entire project took about 7 weeks. This was a complete kitchen gut, down to bare wood. I’m happy to say my newly renovated kitchen now reflects my vision and our lifestyle. I can’t recommend Lacey enough. Their quality of work, attention to detail is beyond anything that I’ve experienced previously. Many thanks to Simon, Rachel, Blaine, Wade, Danny, Brian, Peter & Chad.
