I was visiting my Grandma and she pointed out a faulty hallway light. My main concern was it becoming a fire hazard. We called Chilliwack Electrical, spoke to Albert and he sent a great guy the very next day. It was a quick fix and when we asked for the bill, it said " Merry Christmas from all of us at Chilliwack Electric!" It was truly a rare act of kindness and I would recommend their services to anyone in need of professional and courteous electrical help. Thank you guys!!!

Called at 9am and Rob was here within the hour. Did a few tests and managed to find the tripping circuit problem immediately. Was very friendly, knowledgeable, and very careful with my boyfriends studio desk (which was made by his Father who passed recently). Highly recommend them for any job big or small. While I hope we don't have any more electrical issues I will not hesitate to call them again.

Chilliwack Electric came down to install a bath fan. The electrician cut the hole too large and the fan cover did not cover the hole. New switches were also installed. I complained to the owner. He came down and put some trim around the hole. Then he talked me into changing the new light and fan switches that were just installed. I told him to leave the others that they had just installed as I had paid for them. When the owner left, he took the new switches with him. Then he billed me for the repair that he did on the hole that his electrician created. When I complained to the owner, he said that he doesn't fix the hole for free. I also asked for my new switches back. I never saw the switches again, and the owner never got back to me. STEER CLEAR!!! They are crooks!

I had a strange power issue in my living room that resulted in my decision to replace the electrical sockets. While doing the work I noticed signs of overheating. Melted wires and some scorch marks. Potentially serious stuff. This is where my capabilities end and the need to call in the professionals begins. I called C.E.S. the next morning and spoke to Mark who was very polite and friendly. Despite being very busy he was able to sent Rob to my home almost immediately to have a look. Rob came and got straight to work; he clearly knew his stuff. He fixed up the issue quickly and fielded all my questions regarding the possible cause of the problem. Needless to say this entire transaction was educational, and any time a job cost less than I expect, I'm a happy man. Will definitely use these guys again should I have the need. Awesome service. Very fast and professional. Their great review rating is clearly well deserved. Thank you!

Had some wiring issues with thermostats in my house and called to have the company to have someone come take a look. It's been a busy time of year for trades (also needed a plumber and got the same response there) but they made a time to come out as quickly as possible. Everyone I dealt with were polite, friendly and professional. Issue was troubleshooted and fixed quickly and was explained well. Super happy with my experience with Chilliwack Electric and they will have all my business in the future.

I had issues with ongoing flickering lights that BC Hydro had established were being caused by a malfunctioning connection on the house mounting base behind the SmartMeter. (For those who are unaware, the mounting base is the homeowner's responsibility.) I contacted both BC Hydro Express Connection and Chilliwack Electrical Services to start the arrangements to have this fixed. As it happened, that same night we had a more serious power fluctuation and the timeline was suddenly shortened as BC Hydro (who were quick to come out that night and recheck the connection) confirmed that this had to be changed within the next 24 hours. First thing next morning, I was back in contact with Chilliwack Electrical Services and within minutes we had a plan in place. They got the permit, I let them know when BC Hydro had shut the power to the house, and before I knew it Logan had arrived and the malfunctioning connection jaws had been replaced. I could not believe that it had come together and was taken care of so quickly! I am extremely impressed with the professionalism of everyone I spoke with at this company. From Chantell in reception, who answered my initial call and whose friendly voice left me feeling totally at ease, to Mark the Office Manager, who listened to my electrical situation, asked questions to assess what needed to be arranged and then when the timeline suddenly sped up, made it all happen. And to Logan, the Electrician who came and fixed the connection and then took the time to answer all my questions and show me what had been done....Thank you! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for quality electrical work, friendly professional service and very reasonable rates.

He got to task and in short order the work was completed to my satisfaction. I had some work done on the Masonic Hall and was working with Mark. It was a pleasure he was very pleasant to work with I told him I was under a crunch in time wise. He stated he had a couple of his workers out with medical problems but, he would try. Well try he did I got a call today at 8.00 saying he would be there in 10 Mins. He sent a young gentleman by the name of Coady. He was very polite and i enjoyed helping him out so he didn't have to up and down the ladder for everything he needed for the job. He completed the job in good time and did a great job. He even helped me out with another small electrical problem. I must say Chilliwack Electric has my business and I would highly recommend them to any one looking for a good economical electrical company.

Friendly and professional from start to finish. I made an appointment to have an old light fixture replaced with a ceiling fan, and asked to be called if there was a cancellation in the meantime. The very next day, a technician called back and said he was available to do the installation right away. It worked out perfectly and we're well-pleased with the service and the result.

It was a pleasure to deal with Chilliwack Electric for my recent residential work - Logan and Mark were extremely easy to deal with, and really helpful all steps of the way. I was extremely happy with the work that was done and how up front they were about everything. They performed the work within the quoted price, and didn't hesitate to provide support/answer questions after the electrical work was done and the bill was paid. Good customer service seems to be a dying art, but these guys were a pleasant surprise!
