Working with this company has been very frustrating. After our installation, multiple issues presented themselves and many service calls were required. We requested work orders or work details for the work to be able to document the issues on this new unit for future reference, and were refused saying it was not our business. There were several requests made by us over a 14 month period to have a specific component verified and were always told it is functioning correctly. In the end with continuous error codes showing we had a different company review and were told that the item was hooked up to the incorrect voltage. We made them aware of this and were offered a $68 credit on a charge of $250. We wrote a negative Google review and then never received the reimbursement. When we followed up with them for our money back we were advised that due to the negative feedback the refund was no longer applicable and threatened that legal recourse would be taken if we continued.

Jamais la compagnie ne m'a recontacté. Aussi, j'ai fait un appel de service pour mon système. Un technicien (TM) est venu chez moi et avant même de vérifier mes unités, il m'a indiqué ne pas être en mesure de réparer mon unité en raison de la marque. Mon système actuel est de la compagnie ''Friedrich'' (un cousin de Fujitsu qui est très répandu sur le marché). Il m'a aussi indiqué qu'il me recontacterait pour m'aider et trouver une solution. Il ne m'a jamais recontacté, il m'a laissé sans aucune aide. J'ai communiqué avec une autre compagnie quelques jours plus tard, elle s'est déplacée et m'a indiqué qu'il manquait plus d'une livre de gaz dans le système. Elle a ajouté le gaz, mon système a fonctionné un certain temps (le temps qu'un de leur TM reçoive la pièce et répare mon unité). Tout est maintenant fonctionnel. La compagnie Thermopompes N&R Sol m'a offert un service médiocre et bâclé : erreur sur le diagnostic, aucun suivi malgré que l'on m'avait indiqué que j'en aurais et un patron qui n'a pas été à son affaire dans ce dossier.

So you want a staff that has the qualifications. When you go to there website this company is a lot more than what you think. They sell fireplaces, stoves, oil tanks, humidifiers, air exchangers and filters. Truly an amazing company to deal with. No bull but the truth. They sell and set up everything as you wished. If something is not right, call and they will accommodate you as fast as they can.. Truly efficient. Please be careful when dealing with this vendor. I purchased the top of the line unit, Amanda heat pump and furnace from them I’m 2018 with installation around June. The installation crew were totally unprofessional. I was sold items, on the contract, that were never delivered. The installation crew were so rushed. I observed a white wire being cut and covered with electrical tape, not right and the owner didn’t seem to care when I asked for an inspection. Final payment was taken from my credit card without approval. When doing the contact, I indicated NOT to use my CC to complete the payment. They used my card the day of installation and now will not complete the contracted work. The owner , Richard, indicated that he was waiting for the best crew to come finish the installation, and that was weeks ago, if not more than a month. He never answers his office line and doesn’t appear to return calls them either. I paid over 10k for my unit. The unit is excellent, just get these quality units, from a trustable supplier. He sales man, Philippe, promised me ; protection around the utilities coming into the building, wifi control, and superior installation, contracted and not delivered. The equipment deserves 5 stars, but he company service and professionalism deserve 1. Not happy with their service at all!! UpDate!!! - August 2,2018 - less than an hour after posting my review, the Service Manager (I’ll get the name ) , sounded very concerned, called and arranged for all my concerns to be resolved. I will post another update following the resolution, a visit from their technician is scheduled. UpDate - August 14, 2018 - called the Service Manager today to get a confirmation that they are coming tomorrow to complete the “paid in full “ installation. I was advised that Richard, the owner, has postponed the completion since he feels I have AC and that he still has a rush on for installation. Guaranteed, if they had not taken the money from my CC in full without permission, they would most definitely provide a proper service. The missing work is on my contact and they refuse to deliver in a reasonable time frame. Be aware of this organization. Extremely poor service and representation by Richard the owner and Philippe his salesman. Be aware!!! I’ll be contacting Amanda to advise them of their representatives as well. UPDATE: September 18,2018, Called to confirmed if they were coming tomorrow September 19,2018 to complete the work indicated on the contract and no answer or reply. It's always suspicious when a company gets 5 star votes and a bunch of one star ones. I wonder where the 5 stars came from. I have had very poor experience with this company. My home A/C system was installed in a very ugly way with pipes going every where, reducing the sell value of my home. Worse still, the A/C stops working once a year -- precisely each time it gets hottest. I have called them three years in a row to repair it, and each year it breaks again. Well, now it has broken again. The basic problem, it seems, is poor installation of the wires between the indoor and outdoor systems, so there is always a communication error going on. This year, I won't be calling them to repair it, but will be asking some other HVAC professional to do the job. However, it means that I will be sweating it out during some of the hottest days in Montreal (40+ degrees). Before venting it out here, I have written them several emails expressing my dissatisfaction, and have never received a response. Bottom line is, don't go with these people!

Last year we had 5 times ran out of heating oil and they couldn't come to refill even by the same day! We had to live overnight at -30 degress for several times. L'installation a somme toute été bien effectuée. Par contre, le bruit était autant présent. La compagnie est revenue installer un plénum et ouvrir plus d'entrées d'air pour alimenter le système. Le tout eu malheureusement aucun impact sur le bruit ambiant. Nous avions tout de même convenu de passer l'hiver avec le système dans son état actuel pour voir si c'était viable. Nous les avons rappeler cet hiver puisque le bruit nuisait à notre sommeil. Le technicien est passé et nous a mentionné qu'il n'y avait tout simplement rien à faire. Il nous est difficile d'accepter que de devoir dormir avec un coussin devant la sortie d'air de la chambre, pour absorber le bruit, soit la norme.

The short version is: they left us waiting for almost a month for a replacement AC condenser fan motor during which there were 2 heat waves, with the excuse of problems with the supplier of the part. Finally I lost patience and called around and had a replacement motor (apparently it's a standard universal part) in my hands within an hour and a half and installed it myself the same day. They had been our service company for our furnace also and the previous owners of the house for at least 15 years. No lomger. They lost good customers on botched chance at an easy repair. Terrible service.
