I called MST to repair my ventilation system. I talked to Nadine and was impressed with her professionalism and her attitude towards me and my problem she was very easy to understand and all around pleasant to talk to. I had 2 visits from the technician Jordan one for the diagnosis and one for the installation of the defective part. Jordan was very pleasant and answered all my questions. He also adhered to the health protacals. All in all it was a positive experience and I won't hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

Ils auraient pus me le dire au téléphone et éviter de me facturer pour ça. Je garde mon calme et je demande poliment au technicien de nous fournir une estimation pour le remplacement de l'appareil. Il me dit que ce n'est pas lui qui peut faire ça que c'est un représentant des ventes. Il me mentionnes qu'il va demander a quelqu'un de me téléphoner mais 2 semaines plus tard toujours aucun retour d'appel. J'appelles donc l'entreprise et je laisse un message disant que je souhaite faire l'achat d'un appareil neuf. Ça fait maintenant 3 semaines et je suis toujours sans nouvelles. Sérieusement il y a un manque de réactivité et de professionnalisme dans cette compagnie. Je veux seulement que quelqu'un me rappelles, vienne me voir et s'occupe de moi. Mais cette compagnie nous traite comme si on n'est pas des clients importants. Je suis vraiment déçu par le niveau de service à la clientèle. Un simple appel aurait suffit pour au moins me laisser savoir qu'on est conscient que j'existe. Ça prends 5 minutes de prendre le téléphone.

I had a heat pump and furnaçe installed and the installation team was very courteous and provided answers to all my questions. There was a problem where the installer accidentally struck a 3" drain stack when piercing the exterior wall but they repaired it and called a plumber immediately to fix the mistake. I was very happy that they apologized for the mistake and owned up to it and the team was able to get it fixed by calling in more people to make sure they finished the job on time and afterwards even cleaned up the mess. I have rated them 5 stars because they were professional, finished the job on time and owned up to the unfortunate mistake of hitting the drain stack. Everyone makes mistakes but not many installers will own up to it. I would not hesitate to hire them again and highly recommend their services.

Review 1/2 (5-star: summer 2020) Our Daikin air-conditioner, installed by MST five years ago, lost another set of thermistors early this summer (see below for earlier problems). We diagnosed the error code ourselves, and MST was quick to order the replacement part. Unfortunately, delivery was slow because of a combination of Daikin supply issues and the covid-19 slowdown. Once MST had the part, they were very quick to come and install it for us. We really appreciated the personal effort that Alexandre (MST owner) put into organizing this repair. Review 2/2 (1-star: summer 2018) We bought a high-end Daikin air-conditioner from MST three years ago. A thermistor in the system broke two weeks ago, which in itself is no big deal. The problem is that MST's "24/7 support" sent a technician 6 days later for a large additional charge because we live in the West Island of Montreal. We showed this technician how to use the thermostat that MST installed (really?), only for him to conclude that the air conditioner was indeed not working with the thermistor code that we had given MST the week before. There goes >150$ that we'll never see again. We are now 8 days after that event, and a second technician who actually knew what he was doing and appeared to order the thermistor. Now, however, we have been trying to contact them for the last four days to get a firm date on when the thermistor will be installed. Every time the phone is answered (about 1/3 of the time), we get a different story about what the status of the order is. We have heard: "it's coming tomorrow", "it should be on the truck", "it will be installed Friday at the latest", "we don't know if it's in the delivery", "we don't know if the supplier has the part", and, most lately "the part was ordered from a third party and we don't know when our supplier will get it". I cannot even count the number of times that we have been told that they will "call us right back" and no call ever comes. It is an absolutely mind-boggling display of incompetence, mixed, it seems quite often, with outright lying or at the very least making up anything necessary to make us happy for the next five minutes. My wife is now in tears because of the sheer impossibility of making any progress with MST, and the feeling of complete helplessness in face of such an overwhelming display of unprofessionalism. I hope that this review helps to give you a better idea of the service provided by MST, and that you think twice before choosing them to install an air conditioning system for your family. I was referred by a happy client of some 10 years ago: I asked for a quote-estimate and received one before a visit. When I insisted on a visit it took so long that we missed out on any manufacturer rebates. I selected an option and the installation was scheduled rapidly. Your installer called the morning of the installation to confirm that someone would be home, nice. Things apparently took a turn for the worse during the install but instead of speaking to me, Stephane (your salesman) made the decision. Included is a photo of the issue concerning the installation. At the end of the day, I was spoken to by the installer, saying they had an issue, Stephane said it was OK and that they wanted payment. Payment was made and a receipt was forwarded. But no invoice, that was promised to follow….. It has never been forwarded to me so that I may ask for the Hydro Quebec Reno-Chauffage program (which has a 6 week window to file !!!) My mother (who is 90 and does her best to speak French) is extremely upset with the routing of the AC pipe though her Playroom, and when she spoke to the installer, he said your son can do it!!! (I live in Calgary Alberta, and you were paid to do the installation, not me). I have no words for a reply like that, other than you must be Joking, look at the picture and decide for yourself. I sent Stephane a video of possible solution of a drywall run that could cover the hideous pipe and be acceptable to all parties. He promised to take care of it, that was over 2 weeks ago. I text, and he promises to visit and take care of it….. no reply. If you would like to send the owner-boss over to see it in person let me know. UPDATE: The company, actually Mr. Nelson Palencia, did personally address the visual aspect of the surface mounted isultated AC pipe in my mother's playroom, by boxing it in. I personally have not seen the work but my mom says she's happy with it. The AC runs cold and makes her home comfortable during Montreal's hot summer months. Thank you for following up and making things right ✅ for a senior that us near and dear to me.
