A couple of years ago I asked M.B. Eye Electrical about installing a solar electrical system and two heat pumps in the home we had recently purchased. Matt provided us with a great price on the package, worked around our vacation schedule and provided us with an very attractive installation that performs very well. The heat pumps are good quality and eliminated the need to use the boiler system to heat the main areas of the house. We have been extreme;y pleased with the heat pumps, summer and winter and I constantly brag about my $30.00 per month electric bills which simply reflect the Maritime Electric fee for the service connection for my Net Metering contract. Over all we are very pleased and I recommend M.B. Eye to anyone I meet who could use their services. THe entire crew is friendly, clean and leaves a clean work site every day.

M.B. Eye installed our 11 kW solar system and replaced our electrical panel in the Spring of 2020. The team were professional and easy to work with. Communication was very easy and we received quotes and answers to our questions in a timely fashion. We went through the Provincial solar rebate program and financing and the team were very open to working with us through this process and the delays it may have caused. During the installation of the solar panels a problem was detected with our electrical panel and the team worked efficiently to replace and rewire our entire panel putting our minds at ease with the stressful 'surprise'. The solar system comes with an easy to navigate online app to monitor your power consumption and solar input that isn't offered from other solar installers. Overall we definitely recommend M.B.Eye for electrical and solar installations/repairs and look forward to using their services again in the future.

Very patient with all my questions and took the time to explain everything to me very clearly. I recently purchased my solar system from Matt at MB Eye electric i’m located in Nova Scotia and with Cove it was a bit more challenging to get the system on site and installed but in the end it was worth every minute and every dollar. These guys have the very best equipment and I won’t lie I priced around some cheaper options but I’m more than pleased with my decision to get the good equipment from the guys at MB Eye The system is still new but is exceeding my expectations so far. I find it very hard to get businesses to communicate nobody seems to want to call you back I can assure you that this guy will return your calls and pick up the phone when you called him every time. I had a super good experience dealing with Matt I will recommend him and his crew to anybody. They are very fair knowledgeable and efficient you’ll enjoy working with them.

M.B. Eye designed and installed a 10 Kw ground mounted solar panel system for me in 2019. I had originally hoped to put in a system that was both grid-tied and had battery back-up. They were excellent in working through design options. Ultimately, we dropped the battery backup component as it was just too expensive but I appreciated the effort they put into exploring options with me. The system was installed in the fall of 2019 and, although I am not really qualified to judge durability, the system appears very robust to me. It has performed flawlessly since installation. It is producing slightly more power than expected. So why did I assign 4-stars instead of 5? There was a serious scheduling problem. I had been warned about this by a previous customer so I added a caveat in my letter giving the go-ahead in September "that you can complete the installation by mid-November". The road to the site is not ploughed and we were leaving the house at the end of December for an extended period so it was very important to me that the process be completed before the snow came. Despite frequent calls indicating my concern, the system wasn't completed until December 27th, the day before we left. We were very fortunate that the weather cooperated. This caused me considerable stress and should have been unnecessary given their original assurances. Although I have written more about what went wrong than what went right, I do want to reiterate that I believe I have an excellent system thanks to their guidance.

The LG Bi-facial panels, Enphase Enlighten consumption / monitoring, engineered racking system and installation completed by Matt and his staff fully met my expectations. Matt provided direction and assisted with both the Efficiency PEI rebate application and Maritime Electric’s net metering Agreement. I would highly recommend MB Eye Electrical.
