Had Greenfoot Sales Rep from Pei come in November for a quote Decided to go ahead & the team were to arrive at 10 AM on Jan 8th 1030, I call the Sales Rep - Nick to ask where they are. He tells me they should be there soon. I took time off work so I'd like to know when. They arrive at 10:50 am The Install Team were Great Knowledgeable Friendly Great Job We have a space under our Mud Room that needs insulation So again Call Nick 2x leave VM, no call back Called a 3rd time he answers Set up another appt for last Thursday Jan 24th. Nick comes looks around tells us he will get back to us by end of day Friday Jan 25th. Its now a week later, Jan 31st & still no call back with a quote from Nick Customer Service is the Back Bone of Any Business Obviously Nick doesn't understand this nor does he care. Lack of Skill, Customer Care & Zero Sense of Urgency So not only have you lost a loyal customer, you have also lost on your bottom line, which in this day & age is crucial to success

My experience was a little different than most here. We decided to install an 18000 btu unit last December in Charlottetown. There were a few hiccups during install including a damaged ceiling, a creaking sound from the interior unit, a faulty breaker causing the unit to turn off, and to top it off our application to efficiency pei was rejected. The team at Greenfoot addressed and fixed all the problems as they arose and we now have a perfectly working unit. It’s nice to see a company stand behind their product and their work. As such, I’m happy to recommend this company to anyone looking to install a heat pump. Thanks for everything.

I had two 12k btu heat pumps installed, with the covers , and they look amazing and are quite, Now putting them to work, but with a 12 yr warrenty it eases the mind, financing is available. Also qualifies for the NB Home Energy Savings Program if approved. After install technician explained the units and provided some tips to maximize energy savings.

We decided to get a heat pump this year. We wanted the best on the market, so we researched who sold Daikin heat pumps. We found Greenfoot Energy Solutions. From my first couple calls to their Customer Service with questions, to booking and getting someone out for a quote, applying for financing, to the guys that were out to install, everyone was absolutely fabulous to deal with. They were informative, new what they were talking about, personable, very professional and respectful. The guys that installed it were tidy, even laid out their jackets to keep the sharp tools on so they didn't damage the floor, laid the plastic down so when they drilled through the dry wall the mess fell on the plastic sheet. The installers made sure to keep us included in the decision process. The confidence they provided information was assuring and made us feel confident in our decision to go with Greenfoot. I would give them a 10 star review if I could! Thank you for a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Bought 3 units, they made the entire process extremely complicated...never ever had so much problems getting anything done. Very frustrating. Had to spend hours on the phone. Greenfoot completed spray foam and blown-in insulation in two separate attic spaces in my home. Initially we had an issue with scheduling but Joe resolved this very quickly and was very accommodating to our schedule and needs. His customer service was excellent. The work itself was also excellent. I just completed a home energy assessment and the evaluator (who has experience doing insulation work) said it was one of, if not THE neatest and best jobs he has ever seen. Today is the 2nd day I've waited for installers to come and AGAIN, they didn't show up! I took the day off Monday to have insulation blown into my attic. I received confirmation the day before that they would arrive between 8-9 am. I called the office at 9:30 and again at 2:30 to finally be told the installer had called in sick. Re-scheduled to my weekend off (Saturday morning) at 8am so today is the 2nd day I got up early and emptied out the closet and hallway to be ready for the installer by 8am and the 2nd day they didn't show up!! No phone call or email to be told they were running late or cancelling and I can't call them because the office is closed! Extremely disappointing service.

We are extremely impressed with the quality of the work, the knowledge of both individuals, and the pride taken in the installation. Karen in the office was also excellent and provided us with the support we required in a courteous and timely manner. I hired Greenfoot Energy Solutions to insulate the bottom of my house with spray foam insulation. I thought they did a good job and my floors were much warmer to the touch and my heating bill actually went down a fair amount but what I found the next year when I had to go underneath the house really baffled me. I had an outlet installed under my house when I built it to plug in heat tape for my main water line. I went under the house to plug in an extension cord and I found that they had unplugged my heat tape and spray foamed over my outlet. I cannot figure out why anyone would do that in the first place. I ended up having to cut the foam insulation away and then use a wooden toothpick to clean out the plug itself.

Chris and Daniel just left and I cannot say enough good things about their professionalism during this whole process. I was not here when the original quote was done so we chatted about everything to ensure I was comfortable with everything that was going to occur. Daniel had to make an extra hole in the wall to get around a 2x4 rather then going ahead he made sure that I was 100% on board and took photos afterwards to show me exactly what had been done. Chris walked me through the functions of the unit and was very patient with me as I asked questions. While he was doing the work he kept his workspace clean cleaning the dust out of the drills into a box rather then have it fall on my floors. I think the floors were cleaner when they left then when they arrived. I dealt with Ed on the phone and he helpful and courteous. From beginning to end each touchpoint I had with Greenfoot was top notch. I look forward to seeing them in 2 years for my cleaning.

I initially posted a negative review for this company and I have to apologize for it. Mold started to appear on the upper floor of the house 2 weeks after the company came and we later discovered it was related to an issue with kitchen ventilation. This happened just at the same time, so I honestly believed the issue I had was connected to the heat pump that was installed. Rob, my representative, and upper management were also professional and the system works very well. I've been using it all winter and I've been impressed by how much oil I save. There's also a government credit you can get to reduce your costs, so I really suggest you to invest in a heat pump. I plan to have another one installed in my bedroom. The first one is in the living room. One thing I would say is that they took the previous 2 heat pumps present on my property, without my authorization, for which I was disappointed. Overall, a very positive experience, but I think they should disclose that they may take previous heat pumps on site, as I was thinking to sell them for parts.

I had a GE mini split installed by Chris and Jason, and already am impressed with the installation and product. The installers were friendly, professional and informative. They walked me through what they were doing, and walked me through how to use the unit and general maintenance. I was lucky enough to win a snow cover during a competition they had, and was so stoked about that. Not to mention the unit pricing was excellent, and wait times were short. I chose Greenfoot over other companies due to the units offered, and great pricing. The cover was just the cherry on top. I will be using this company again in the summer for another unit, and would recommend them to others. Thanks for an excellent job guys!

Excellent service. Had an older heat pump that was constantly leaking refrigerant. After a free estimate, it was determined that it would be cheaper to simply get the unit replaced for a more modern one. The installation took a morning (about 4 hours), it was quick, clean and they even managed to replace the unit without having to do any additional work (electrical changes, extra holes in the wall, etc.). They even took care of disposing of the old unit at no extra cost. The technicians we're friendly, knowledgeable and even gave me a hand in troubleshooting my second heat pump, also at no extra charge. I will definitely be using their service again when it comes time to change my second heat pump in the near future.

If I could give zero stars I would have. Wasted my day off waiting for their installers to show up and spray foam my basement at my cottage. I finally had to leave after waiting almost 6 hours. I also used this company to install some insulation and heat pumps prior to this attempt. In both prior cases I had to chase them to fix things. I should have not hired them to do the foam based on my initial experience. Very poor communication and attention to detail. Stay away.

I'm not really impress of the installation they performed. They install a brand new air exchange system and balanced it, that part is good. The problem is they pass insulated flexible pipe everywhere. Flexible pipe create a high resistance for the air flow. that been said, I have poor air flow in the 2nd floor as the run are too long.

Yesterday i got 3 mini splits installed in my home by greenfoot daikin 12000's recommended by green foot because they are the superior brand! All good got them installed when i go home from work one of them was not working girlfriend said it never worked from the moment it was installed so you should call greenfoot in the morning, so today i call greenfoot tell them the situation and i had already did the troubleshoot and it said E7 which is the exterior unit fan motor so when i called they started saying oh we will order you parts it will take 1 to 2 weeks to be in, i was like no these are brand new units i have not even had them 24 hours i want a new unit installed i do not want to be replacing parts already they proceeded to tell me no that a fan motor isnt a major issue that once the part would be in that they would come work on it, i told them this is rediculous i get a brand new unit and already i have a paper weight that does nothing for me no heat and i already have to change parts on they said well you can try resetting the unit sometimes it works for a bit but i doubt it will work in this situation so i try and sure enough does not work i tried again for new units they said no it just happened the one time that so changing the part should fix the problem....(2 weeks from now.....) that there is no proof that this unit was a lemon maybe if it happens 4 or 5 more times, at this point i got quite upset and hung up the phone. This is the poorest customer service i have ever experienced tbey install a faulty unit and make their customer wait for new parts!

Company was quick to come and give me a quote, the guy showed up and we started talking about central air systems told me that they only sell certain brands (based on tech feedback) told me the cheaper ones where garbage. I understand the reasoning behind this but when a customer has a budget you should try to work within it. Its been about a month and still have not received a email with the quote.

My initial experience with Greenfoot was horrible for the install of my 28k whole home heat pump heating system. I hesitated to provide a review as the owner and team tried to make good on the experience however they have still not completed what they said they would 3 years later. Now that the system is installed and "working", the past two winters the outdoor heat pump fails to turn on and I'm forced to use the furnace until a technician comes to repair it. The repair isn't simple, they end up coming multiple times throughout the season which takes weeks to months between visits and by spring I have a working heat pump "so I think". Fast forward to this winter and early December heat pump doesn't turn on and I'm again waiting for the technician to come out and again they reschedule the appointment waiting almost a month so far for a repair date (which I know will be multiple trips), so now I'm stuck again paying high energy cost all winter. I could blame the equipment for the failures, but really it's all on Greenfoot, they chose the equipment and configuration, performed the poor installation and seem unable to provide service in a timely manner and repair things for good.
