Shopping for product in the store is great and selection is ok. However, the service counter is under staffed and painfully slow, add the fact that returning anything in the lumber yard is also time consuming. Perhaps Kent needs to shadow Home Hardware when it comes to customer service. Hint hint... They allow debit or credit card purchases at service counter for faster service (time is money for customers). Also, redo the parking lot, it's a mess!!!!!

Management needs to take a look at the FedEx pickup process. Their electronic signing pad didn't work and the PC the system is being run through is a bit inadequate and outdated if the loading times were anything to go by. The counter clerk was lovely and apologetic. Feb 27th ~1PM.

I’ll stary by saying I’m an oil patch wife. I do 95% of my house/yard work by myself and I’m new home owner. I went to Kent’s on the north side yesterday for 4 walking block, the old guy in the yard looked and treated me like I was dumb because I didn’t know where I had to go. That’s alright I let that go. Today I go back for a screen door and low and behold a different old guy down at the project desk kept questioning what I wanted “a sliding screen door!!” He goes off telling me I can replace the screen that’s fine and dandy but seriously, if looks could kill. He was talking to me like I was a 3 year old child pissing him off. Like I’m stupid for wanting to buy a door and not just a screen. Well buddy, maybe I WANT a new door and not your GD opinion. Needless to say I won’t be going back there. Clearly their stuck in the stone age where women doing a mans job are considered stupid.

Hours of operation on their website do not match the actual hours of operation. Website stated they are open mon-fri at 0700. I arrived Monday morning at 0655 and waiting for the store to open. I attempted to go in at 0705 only to find out the store did not open until 0800. Frustrating as I have to sit in the parking lot for an hour while I wait for the store to open. ???? Please adjust this on your website and check for additional possible hours of operation conflicts. Thanks.

I was picking up plywood, went into the warehouse about 1/2 dozen employees just standing around. I waited then got out of my truck to give them my slip and got yelled at to get back in my truck or I wouldn't be served. I returned my slip and shipped elsewhere

Southside called Northside kent for a trampoline and put it on hold. Said its ours and could go pick it up. My mother and I were heading right over to purchase and pick up . Drove all the way over to Northside kent, with a van, and very excited children, to find out they took pieces out of our trampoline to give to someone else . There were no more trampolines in both stores, and now we have to wait a week for piece to be shipped from ns. My son was so disappointed, and my mother couldn't believe what they did . Not impressed, and not a good experience.

Great experience here shopping for household reno supplies. Picked up some paint, rollers, etc... Great price and awesome staff. They quickly matched my paint sample and had me on my way in no time. They even offered to page my run away girlfriend when it was time to leave. Nice selection when you need something quick. Clean store and well organized.

Used to like them, but their inventory system is so bad it constantly wastes my time. Multiple times I've called to confirm them have stock in Summerside, only to find they don't actually have the product when I arrived. They check other stores, and tell me to drive to the Kensington store... no stock there as well.

Girl at front cash was not helpful nor did she offer any help. She became visibly offended when I suggested she find someone to assist me..the women who did assist me was very well informed and helpful. She knew from personal experience the product she was selling, she offered good suggestions and i felt confident with her advice . I thought the girl from cash could have shown more interest and listened to what the sales women said , so in future she could help another customer, but she clearly was "working the cash only" and anything else was beyond her scope of limited knowledge that would sadly remain limited
