I went in there requesting a quote. I left my information and never heard anything back. Not even an email saying that they were busy. The only good thing was that the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. But I won't be referring this company to anyone.

I have worked with Bob over the years and have always appreciated his teams approach to problem solving. He has arranged last minute float plane charters to fix critical electrical issues at a remote location with out his assistance the consequences would have been dire. I recently reached out to him again in a panic with a problem whose solution eluded others. Bob took a crew from one his other sites and sent them to me and in a matter of a couple hours the situation was resolved. I own a mid-sized HVAC company in Edmonton (28 employees), I know construction and just as important I know customer service! Customer service is the difference between doing one job for a general contractor and doing all their work! As a residential contractor (which is what Wired Electric does) they bounce from job to job and whether a customers experience is good or not is pretty much unknown. Writing a google review is the only way that his next potential customer will know what they are getting into. I awarded Wired Electric (Bob) with a large residential contract (foot print of 7,500 sqft). There was quite a few drywall repairs because of improperly placed pot lights even though we put together a binder clearly showing where all the cabinetry was going. They tell me that my generator can not handle my heat pump during construction, then I find out at the end that it could have. Now one of the main reasons for having an emergency generator (a source of heat) does not work! I paid them an extra to hook up my emergency generator. When done my breaker panel cover and the front cover to my generator were both damaged or entirely broken off. They send a guy back to repair it and he tells me that he had no idea what to do, I was not sure how to respond other just shake my head. All it takes is now is a driving rain from the north and my breakers, that are now exposed to the elements will surely become a real problem. I can not get him back to do the repair!!! I have the parts sitting in my electrical/pump house on the shelf waiting for someone that knows what they are doing to show up! The pendant light over our kitchen island showed up and because the incorrect bracket was sent Wired wants an extra to come back to install it. This is construction, and things like this happen. This is not our fault but yet he wants us to pay for a return trip even though my generator still needs repair. This is not customer service!!! I can not tell you how many times my employees need to make return trips to jobs because things are not ready for us. We do not tell our customers that it will cost them extra! So in summary, If you do not care that your emails, text messages or phone calls are responded too (after you pay him), if you do not care if warranty issues are attended too then by all means call these guys! I am sure you will be just as disappointed as I am.

We have always been very happy with the job Bob and his employees have done. They are very professional and have good workmen ship. They are very courteous of our places and always do a quality job. Every job Bob and his staff have been great to deal with and very professional. Every new job Bob makes sure to do a walk through with the General Contractor as well as the home owners to ensure all questions are answered before it begins. If there is ever an issue (which normally doesn’t happen) he makes sure to correct it to make everyone happy with the final product.
