They did our driveway and walkway about 2 years ago. They were very helpful in the designing process and were very reasonably priced compared to other companies. The workers during the job were very nice and I was able to ask questions and even made a last minute change which they accommodated! I would definitely recommend them.

My mother in law got her drive way done last year and it looks so beautiful well done, in great timing. The finish is perfect. We got ours done shortly after and couldn't be more happy to finally have a double wide driveway! No more parking on the road. They were always great for relying to questions we had. Recently had a major driveway replacement with concrete and asphalt. Their staff worked hard and fast to get the work done within a certain timeline. Some minor issues but everything was addressed quickly via emails. Lots of positive comments from our neighbours!

The company came to my neighbourhood to redo some of the driveways. The home owners didn’t get a choice in the company. As you can see from my picture there are lots of imperfections and even small holes. Some driveways do look better but not quality work.

Never got the quote or the an email with it. I receive the quote after the review. Edit to response to your answer. I requested from the beginning to be emailed the quote so we can avoid it. Also, called twice to check on the delay and was ensured that it will be emailed since "it might was blown away by the wind"

CFJ Paving was highly recommended to me by a couple of colleagues who had their driveways and family members driveway completed. CFJ had completed a colleague's driveway in two of her homes so she trusted their work after enjoying her driveway and the quality work for several years. From my first interaction with them, they were quick to respond and provided a quick turnaround time to conduct an estimate visit. Maria, who came out for my quote, was very knowledgeable, listened to my preferences and made professional recommendations as needed. Maria was patient and very responsive to providing me new quotes based on different ideas that came to mind after my initial visit with her. Always professional and very approachable! She answered my emails and phone calls well after hours which she did not have to do but did as clearly she prides herself on customer service! As you can imagine, making an investment on exposed aggregate and the cost, I had many questions for her! Thank you Maria! CFJ's quote was very competitive and their years in business and personal recommendations made it an easy choice to sign the contract. Their competitive pricing allowed me to do my driveway and a 20 foot path to my back yard (pics included!) I chose the colour Lava from the Solomon chart. The crew who came out to dig, form and pour were absolutely efficient, attention to detail and very respectful of my and my neighbour's property. The office staff were also attentive and very friendly! I would not hesitate to have CFJ back at my home for any future work I need done!

Not even worth the single star. I agreed to have my driveway completed with them and the work was slated for sometime this Fall. A month goes by and no one calls to schedule it. 5 calls to them with messages were left unanswered. I was told by office staff on several occasions that "someone" would call me back and no one ever did. We are well into Fall now and I called again only for the office staff (who only takes messages by the way) to tell me that they would NOT be doing my driveway because they are suddenly "booked for the season". They pick and choose what jobs they will complete and which ones they don't want to do. This is a situation where the customer provided numerous chances for the business to gain a customer but instead, they left the customer high and dry. I have had to put other jobs on hold waiting for this driveway to be completed, and rather than perform the simple act of picking up the phone and scheduling the job or notifying me that the job would not be done at all, they put this potential customer out of valuable time and money. I DO NOT recommend this business to anyone. They have treated me poorly and unfairly and nothing stops them from doing that to someone else.

My experience with CFJ Paving is one of above average. They answered my calls, were prompt at appointments for quotes and started and completed work on time. They were considerate to motorists using the road and cleaned up after the work was done. Some minor warranty issues were taken care of in a prompt and professional manor even when my warranty period had ended. I would highly recommend CFJ Paving to anyone.

I ask for estimate in Jan-2021 after 2-4 phone calls. One fine day in Feb-2021 one guy just slide a paper into my Door with estimate. Now keep tried calling them 3-4 times no answer.... Well if you guys don't want to do work then why even sharing estimates. Guys Please don't waste your time on CFJ....find someone who really need to do the Job

Fernando came by and sent estimate within a week during peak season. They came a few weeks later they ripped up the asphalt. Fernando made a couple of suggestions and I took him up on it. Turned out great. One thing with any driveway pavers, be patient! I learned a little how they schedule in driveways. It may seem like a long time which I did start getting impatient. But I trusted his him and his crew and they did an awesome job! Thanks CFJ looks great!

Very disappointed! Sub standard work and very poor customer service . Many weeks of no shows when they assured me they would be there to complete the work . Only time they were on time was when they wanted money and then vanished with it for a few more weeks . Completed paving but left a huge mess and poor clean up . Work crews left litter of coffee cups , water bottles and dozens of cigarette butts all over . Customers beware !

Stay away from this contractor! I received a quote from Fernando to excavate my driveway by 12 inches deep, and replace it by 12 inches of compacted gravel at 97%, which are necessary steps to pave a driveway. Lucky for me, I asked CFJ to pave my driveway only at the end of the summer, which enabled me to noticed that the base started sagging after two days - which I would have never seen if the Ashvalt would have been placed. I called a couple of experts and had the work site drilled for samples. Turns out CFJ paving flattened out the old base, but never dug more than one inch, and of course did not even compact the old gravel. I confronted Fernando several times - who kept changing his stories :he first said they replaced my gravel, then he admitted "reusing" my gravel, and finally he admitted that to actually dig 12 inches and compact it in layers (to reach the proper compaction) would be way more costly than his quote..... ?! CFJ paving ended up asking me for the full amount of the work that was never done. I fought this through BBB, and ended up not having to pay CFJ. Do not trust CFJ paving. There are other good guys out there that will actually do the job properly for the same price.

I cannot say enough good things about CFJ Paving. We had a number of big projects happening during the summer of 2020. CFJ excavated and then patiently waited months for all other heavy truck traffic to be completed. Fernando was personally on site 3 times, always in good spirits. Mid summer I requested an addition to the original quote and that was graciously accommodated with a very reasonable adjustment to the overall project cost. After months had passed our freshly seeded yard encroached on the original footprint. As a result, the site prep team didn't quite make the driveway long enough when they returned. I gave the office a call and with no fuss they were back to prepare that small area for me and everything was perfect for paving day. In the end the new driveway is beautiful with very tidy finished edges. CFJ was one of 5 quotes I'd received, neither the most or least expensive. But I liked their fine print and I got an honest vibe from Fernando. Both Louann and Angelica from his back office team were also a delight to speak to. If I pave again I'll go straight to CFJ and skip the other quotes. Very pleased, highly recommend. Thanks Fernando!!

We had a very large uneven gravel driveway up to last year, when CFJ paved our driveway and did a spectacular job! The installation was amazing, and the crew was very professional and hard working. They went above and beyond what was quoted and even filled in a couple of pot holes at the bottom of the driveway, unasked, which was not even part of the quote. Rating pending. Would love to give a proper rating, but so far there has been no communication, and the scheduled time for completion is now 4 weeks behind schedule. A return call would go a long way, so that I know what's happening. The lack of communication has me worried that I won't have my driveway completed before the winter. I understand that the weather has people quite behind this year, but a phone call would make a world of difference.

This company came to pave a neighbours driveway and for whatever reason felt it was necessary to have multiple trucks and flatbeds here to do the job. They parked across several driveways. When asked to move so my husband could access our driveway they refused. When asked to move again so I didn't have to lug a baby and all of her things 6 houses down to the car...they told me they were almost done and would move then. When they recycling truck came by they again did not move their trucks leading to ours and 3 other neighbours recycling not being picked up. I called the company and the office woman gave me the site supervisors name and number. I called him and left a message. I recieved no response. They close at 5 and are closed for the weekend so I gave him another call later in the day...and he denied my call. So I left another message. I called the office a few more times and finally got through and she told me he had bad reception. This is a poor company with even worse customer service. Edit to add...fernsndo finally called me back and said if I left reviews anywhere he would just respond and say I was wrong and lying.

His motto is "honest service and quality always." Great reviews are pinned on the company's bulletin board at the office. Thank you cards and emails come in on a regular basis complimenting the work, service, and staff. One client emailed thanking the entire crew for how well they interacted with the group of children who stood by watching them work. Last year, on a very hot long day, a lady offered to make ice-cream cake for the whole crew. Most of Fernando's clients are repeat clients: the calls come directly through his cell. Many others who call in have been referred by others. I hear a lot of this "Fernando did a job for us 22 years ago and now it's time to re-do or make changes." We had a huge project to do at our home. Remove 50 plus years of asphalt/old concrete in a patio in the back, remove an old asphalt driveway/walkway, replace stairs on front porch and widen the driveway in the front. A lot to do. I shopped around for quotes and CFJ was the best, they bundled the items in together which brought the cost down. The crew that came to the house on several occasions (remove, repair and replace) were a great group of folks and were helpful with any questions I had. We have three dogs, a motorcycle and muscle car to contend with and they made sure that they accommodated our needs (a gate for the dogs, a window of opportunity to move the motorcycle off the old back patio so they could work on it, and a way for me to get my hot rod in and out of the garage while we were waiting for everything to settle). Thanks CFJ, not only were you professional in your workmanship, you made the process as painless as possible for us in accomodating all our many requests.
