Brad and his team were great to work with when we decided to change the carpet throughout our home. Their amount of knowledge about the different products they offered and the informative delivery of their opinion on the right product for our needs made the decision so simple and easy. Preference of colour was the only part left to decide, and with many samples to choose from it only made sense to see them in their dedicated rooms before choosing. Not to our surprise Brad's experience shone through again when he brought an extra sample just in case this shade worked better for the space, and he was right. We love the carpet option and underlay we chose, and often get compliments from guests on how comfortable it is to walk on. The Installers were very professional, very quick, and being local to our neighbourhood we had a few great conversations that day. Prior to installation, large areas of the floor needed to be levelled; a big project in itself, and handled extremely competently. They were very responsive and gave us sensible advice on what was required to restore our space and prevent future water issues. Dylan carried out the majority of the work for us – including removing water-damaged furniture and drywall, sealing foundation cracks, and reinstalling walls and baseboards. He involved us in the process and let us know where work was NOT necessary (e.g. less drywall needed to be removed than originally thought). He cheerfully dealt with our upgrade requests, including the removal/sealing of an unused brick fireplace and bringing in an electrician (Dennis) to improve our computer connectivity. Even our cat loves Dylan! Every tradesman that came arrived exactly on time, was very COVID-19-conscious and personable, and got to work without delay. I was consulted at every step. Since a suitable size of vanity wasn’t available premade, a custom one was designed and installed to my great satisfaction. It is simply beautiful! Jenn Brooks at Above & Beyond was our flooring rep who attended with the floor installer we had chosen to assist us in choosing our Engineered hardwood flooring we were installing throughout the house. She recommended a Quebec company's flooring which she felt was superior in quality to others locally available. The installer measured our floor space to estimate how much wood to order. Jenn said it would arrive in 5-6 weeks, which it did. The installer came by our home to begin demolition of our old flooring which was done in 1.5 days. We had an issue with the installer though that caused us to part ways with him. I called Jenn to ask for her assistance in finding us another installer she worked with who could do the job quickly as our wood had been delivered and was taking up all the space in our garage. She told me to leave it with her and she'd see what she could do. Within 4 hours she asked if Matt (another installer) could see us that evening to give a quote and determine if he and his team could do what the other installer could not. He agreed it would be fine and he was to start the job in 5 days from then. We were very happy with this team who finished the job quickly and the flooring suggested by Jenn is amazing. We love our floors. Thank you to Jenn for saving the day for us with a reliable rescue team who met all our needs. She later also helped get us a stain repair kit from the Flooring manufacturer and is delivering the kit to us next week. Highly recommended working with Above and Beyond Concepts.

Finding the right contractor can be very daunting but after scouring the internet for a reliable team, Above and Beyond really stood out for their excellent work. Right from the initial contact, they worked hard for us. Jenn responded promptly and were able to set up a consultation. During this consultation, she was able to bring her cabinet specialist, Imran, to take measurements, ask for our input and gauge the scope of the project. What really stuck with us before even drawing up a contract was they were willing to work with us with our budget and were available to answer any questions. The renovation itself was as painless as possible. We have an older unit so pre existing problems will arise. Jenn and her contractor, Kevin, were very easy to work with, communicated effectively and transparent with any issues that arose. Despite the problems that arose outside of their control (vendors sending the wrong fixtures, vendors sending faulty products) the project was completed within the 6 week time frame of the contract. The finished product is everything that we wanted and more. They were able to add storage spaces, improve the functionality of the kitchen, install quirky additions to the bathroom and improve the bedroom by adding quality of life improvements. Thanks to Jenn, Imran, Kevin and the rest of the team for making our dream apartment a reality!

Above and Beyond Concepts did an exceptional job, I would recommend them for so many reasons. They repaired our ceiling after a leak from the top floor caused damage a number of years ago, now its beautiful and flawless. They also completed a mini kitchen reno for us. This included cutting the high bar top down to counter height, new quartz counter top throughout with an overhang for bar stool seating. From initial contact to completion they were easy to contact and guided us through the whole experience. We also had a budget for our renos so they provided an initial quote for a few things we wanted done in the house and eventually modified it to fit within our budget and still make some really great changes. We will definitely contact them when we are ready to complete the rest of the renos!

Jen Brooks did a wonderful job helping us get our renos done. She helped pick out the flooring and paint colors when i couldn't decide and it turned out fabulous! She was super responsive, even for the smallest question. Renos can be really overwhelming but she really helped manage the stress by taking care of every little thing. Super friendly, professional, and helpful. The crew that did the work was simply amazing. This was the smoothest project we've ever had. I would totally recommend Jen for your next home or business project!

I wanted to write this review after about 2 weeks of the completion of my bathroom reno project. The new bathroom is now absolutely miles away from my old one. Very happy we went ahead and did this project. ABHC has been a key to the success of this project. Right from planning to the final walkthrough, they have been very professional in their approach. Always very courteous and respectful to talk to. Quality: I have to say that the professionals that ABHC uses are truly experts in their fields. Especially the plumbing work was done exceptionally well. I was a bit apprehensive of how they would install my bathtub after having read some horror stories online. But they did a solid job. Carpentry work was superb too. They removed the bulkhead in the shower and moved the exhaust fan's ducting around through the roof to make it hidden and give more space in the bathroom. The room now looks much bigger than before. The tiling work was exceptional. The quality of the tiles that they suggested was also very good. Budget: They always stayed on budget. I had three changes for which they created separate change orders. They waited for my approval before starting the work. Timeline: Here is where I think there could be some room for improvement. Because of weather conditions, worker illnesses and other factors, the original timeline of 15 days was stretched to more than a month. That was not a major problem for us - but I just wanted to make note of something they could improve on. Cleanliness: At the end of each work day the site was cleaned. So, no issues there. I hope this helps anyone who is making a decision.

It was a joy to work with Brad and his team at Above and Beyond Concepts. Throughout the process, there was great communication. All members of A & B staff listened to my input, while bringing excellent knowledge and experience to the conversation. A & B worked within my budget, while providing high quality materials and a stunning finished product. The work went off without a hitch, finishing both under budget and before schedule, a feat generally unheard of in the construction world. Given the results, and easy nature of the process, I would obviously contract them again for a future project.

All of the contractors and staff who we worked with and who came into our home during our major renovations (kitchen, entryway, flooring, painting, lighting, bathrooms) were professional, skilled, efficient, considerate, and friendly. We could not be happier with their work, especially Jenn, Kevin, Asib, and Sherry. We worked most closely with these amazing people. They were so patient, understanding, honest, responsive, and supportive. I hired A&B Concepts to install new laminate flooring in my condo. While the quote provided was not cheap, I was promised professional installers that do quality work. I had worked with Brad previously who had done a good job. Unfortunately, that’s far from the experience that I had with A&B this time. The flooring installers was Matt at Van Floors Ltd. The project began on time and finished as promised but that’s about all that went right with this project. Prior to the flooring installers showing up, the ceilings and walls were all redone. After Matt and his team left, I discovered damage to the newly redone ceiling, there was a huge gash in the sliding screen door, damage to the door frames, damage to the drywall (way above the baseboard line) and large scratches to the sliding glass door where the laminate flooring was cut. The baseboard heaters that were removed during installation were left loosely on the ground. The laminate cuts were slanted along the edge close to the wall revealing the blue underlay underneath. They could not even be bothered to clean up after themselves leaving garbage behind when they left. This was all witnessed by a few people that saw the state of the condo before Brad’s company showed up and after. I brought this up to team but received little support even though they knew I had very tight timelines for completion of this project. There was radio silence from Jenn and Brad for close to a month essentially leaving it to me to fix the problems they caused. When they did contact me again, it was to collect on their final invoice. They never took accountability for the issues they caused throughout the apartment and I did not get customer support when I needed it most. I was double charged for some items by the installer. What should have been a simple flooring remodel project turned into a nightmare that caused a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety. This project definitely didn’t have the professional installation that was quoted. In my experience this company does not care about it’s customers or if they do its selective. Financially this project cost much more than budgeted due to the issues caused and their unwillingness to rectify them in a timely manner. I regret hiring A&B concepts for this project and would not recommend them.

Above and Beyond Concepts hold true to their name. The staff at Above and Beyond went the extra mile to ensure a timely flooring installation. When my fiancé & I purchased our townhouse and when we received the keys with the news the existing laminate floors were badly water damaged. With the move in date only 9 days away, Brad and Sherry were able to source the floors and provide quick and cost effective service and were able to complete the new floor install by the move in date. My fiancé & I appreciate all their hard work in order to complete this job on time and on budget. Going forward I would certainly recommend Above and Beyond Concepts to anyone that needs any form of home renovation or flooring projects completed. You will not be disappointed.

Brad and his team were amazing at the service they provided from the start, right to the completion of the job. The installers were respectful, professional and very detail oriented. My main concern was not having baseboards lined up, but his team worked with me and the job was seamless. Extremely happy with the result. Highly recommend them!
