After getting 9 quotes, we decided to go with Markstone and it was the best decision. Wasn’t the cheapest, but we felt most comfortable with them. The project took longer than expected because doing the job well is their top priority. From start to finish, Mark the project manager was there every step of the way. His team took pride in their work and made sure that the work was done well.

Based on positive Google reviews we had a $15k interlocking job done on our walkway and patio in 2019. Everything seemed to go well until after last winter some of the stones were falling of the patio and we had issues with water seeping in through garage wall as well as grass and weeds cropping up through the stones . Tried to contact their office starting May 2020 and left numerous messages on their answering machine . No response at all . Tried again in 2021 , no response until i sent in a request posing as a new customer and got a call back within 2 days . I explained the situation and instead of someone coming to see the issue they said the only recourse was to submit a warranty claim via email and someone would respond in 10 days . This was submitted May11 th and still no response , managed to get someone on the phone early June and was told to be patient since it is their busy season. Obviously this business only cares about signing new jobs and does not care at all about existing customers that have an issue with their sub standard work . I would caution anyone to find another contractor since this company is very unprofessional and do not support their customers . We ended up paying another company to fix their shoddy work instead of hoping to hear back from them for another year .
