Nothing short of Super Hero's! From day 1 to completion (which was remarkably fast) Darryl and his crew were professional, courteous, patient and skilled at each of their areas of expertise. Overal not thrilled with the whole process of my basement renovation. I guess I was expecting a higher quality of work given all the reviews. Communication and transparency were also lacking. We didn't find Darryl was much help at all but Amie (project manager) was great. At the end of the day, no I would not recommend Mackereth.

We live in Brantford and we used Mackereth Contractors and we couldn’t happier. We got several quotes the other contractors either had a hard time meeting our timelines but mainly our budgets. We found almost all of them tried to talk us into cheaper materials or cutting corners to make their job easier. Save your time and money . Mackereth Contractors will get it done properly, on time and it will look perfect! Everyone felt the need to tell us what a nightmare renovations were and we were prepared for the worst . The Mackereth team renovated our entire kitchen, living room, basement and bathroom and I don’t have one complaint !!! They coordinated with so many trades everyone was on time , efficient and amazing to deal with. They cleaned up every single night before they left and would communicate when they would be back and what they would be doing. The project manger Brandon came to my house each morning and inspected what the trade had done and if it wasn’t up to his expectations he had them redo it! This team went over and above and who does that on such a big job - just one example I picked a dark grout for my kitchen tile. They expressed they didn’t think it would look the best but if it was what I wanted they would do it . Then the tile guy took an extra hour mixed the dark grout I picked and a light grout he picked and made up two sample boards for me to see what they both would look like ! Guess what he was right ! This process can be overwhelming to say the least .... Daryl helped us hand pick every material floors , barn board, cabinets, counters and even helped us with paint tones as to not get hues of green or blue. This team is legit ! I will post some photos I have of before and after. It’s been 6 months I have had no issues with any work that was done and I love coming home to my new house ! Special thanks to Daryl, Brandon and both Peters !!!

We had Mackereth Contracting install vinyl siding over the full height of our 3 storey house along with new aluminum capping around all the windows and doors, as well as new eavestroughs and downspouts. My wife and I were extremely impressed with the quality of their work. The finished product looks fantastic, the project was completed quickly, and Darryl was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. From helping us choose our colours, to coordinating the work, to making sure the work was completed to our liking, we definitely feel that we were well taken care of during the project and Darryl was always very easy to get a hold of if we had any questions. We initially got a few quotes for the work and Mackereth Contracting's price point was extremely fair. The quality of work combined with the speed at which it was completed to me is unmatched. The guys on site were also very respectful and cleaned up after they were done each day. Quite honestly, anyone wondering whether they should use Mackereth Contracting for their project should definitely do so - you won't be disappointed.

Mackereth Contractors recently completed an extensive 2nd Level renovation of our Executive Semi-home in Burlington. The scope included new flooring and ceiling/crown molding throughout and newly remodeled Guest Bathroom, Master Bedroom Ensuite and Bedroom Closets. Total project cost was maintained with no hidden surprises while any scope changes were quoted in advance and held to.
