Was our first experience with TRS and the service was great!

I have had a technician name Thomas here for the last 2 days working on my Central Air installation. Thomas was amazing to have around. Very knowledgeable, professional, tidy and COVID-19 prepared. I'm currently enjoying a nice cool climate thanks to his hard work. I'm signing up for TRS Heating & Cooling ClimateCare's monthly service plan based on my interactions with him. They can have my business. Thank you again, cheers.

Have a warranty on furnace with Sub Zero. They went out of business but was advised TRS would honour warranty. Original warranty covered everything. Our furnace stopped working in January. Received a letter yesterday, April 15th from TRS advising our warranty with Sub Zero is still in affect. I called them today to ask why I was charged $210.07 in January given I have a full warranty. In fact the only work that was required was to vacuum dust out of clog in air switch. Was told their warranties only covers parts. I repeated our warranty was with Sub Zero. Was told all they were required to do was vaccum clog in air switch which is labour. For a $210.07 charge, at the very least, the charge is unusually excessive. Sorry but won't use them again.

My original service company was unable to help me in a timely manner during an outage in the summer. TRS showed up within 24 hrs and fixed the problem. The following year I had a problem from the original installation by another company. The owner of TRS showed up, gave me some helpful tips and cleaned out the unit free of charge and the unit worked good. Excellent customer service, timely response to calls, and easy monthly payment plan for annual servicing of equipment.

To clarify no they did not charge for the quote, my mistake, however I was charged $125 for them to assess the furnace when they already had on file exactly what was wrong with it, so there was no need to assess it. The previous owner of the house had this company look at it and determined the coil inside the furnace was consistently freezing up and was not working. This I already knew before the company had even come to the house. So they charged me for doing absolutely nothing.

These guys are great! As a family that had just moved into Brockville, in the middle of a heat wave, we needed someone to come inspect the AC in our new home, and we were also looking to get a natural gas BBQ hookup installed. TRS sent Jordan out to inspect our AC, which was working perfectly, and they also had Steve come out to give us a quote on the BBQ hookup. The price was right, so they sent Jordan out again to do the hookup - first-class service and experience all the way. Jordan chatted with to find out where we wanted it installed, then did a beautiful installation, it looks like it was put in when the deck was built. Works great, looks great, no mess - great experience and I would absolutely recommend TRS to anyone needing HVAC work. Thanks to Jordan and everyone at TRS!

Darren and Cody were so professional and clean. They arrived, put down a mat to walk on so they did not dirty the floors and they went right to work. They were friendly, fast, and efficient. We definitely recommend the team at TRS Heating & Cooling. We had a no heat issue and our local heating/cooling company refused to come and help. Even though we live outside TRS's normal area they had a tech here on a Friday afternoon. The problem was diagnosed quickly and replacement parts ordered. Recently purchased my home and had some concerns with the quality of the boiler installation from another company. TRS inspected and found MANY problems with the install. Even though it's not the news I wanted to hear I am so grateful for how thorough Jordan was, the time he took to explain how the system works and what it should look like. I have a lot of work to do now but I wouldn't have trusted any other company to ensure the safety and efficacy of my heating system. Just call TRS, don't waste your time on anyone else!

Having dealt with another company in Brockville that were completely unsatisfactory, I called TRS to address my furnace issues. The TRS technician arrived at the agreed upon time. I explained to the TRS technician what the other company had told me and what parts the other company said were needed to fix the furnace (after 5 business days waiting for parts, I decided not to deal with the other company again and called TRS). The TRS technician said that he suspected that the parts the other company said were required were not correct. He then explained the complete operation of the furnace to me and showed me exactly what part (not parts) were required. He had the required part the next morning and the furnace was fixed before 9am. Of note: this was a Lennox brand furnace that the other company I initially engaged had installed (and were not able to fix within 5 business days) but TRS were able to fix in one day (and TRS does not even sell and install Lennox brand furnaces). The difference in customer support and Technician competence I experienced with TRS Heating and Cooling compelled me to write this review. I highly recommend TRS to anyone in the Brockville area requiring service. I support local business and am delighted to have discovered this company. (I have written a not-so-complimentary review of the other Brockville heating and cooling company that I had initially engaged - you can easily look that review up if so inclined).

Today, we had the annual maintenance service performed on our furnace and HRV by Mr. Cody Fitzpatrick, TRS technician. Cody attended our home at 8:30am promptly. He performed all of the requisite service in an efficient and effective manner explaining all that he was doing as he went about his business. All of our questions were answered in a most satisfactory manner and we were most impressed with the professionalism exemplified by Cody. Well done Cody and TRS!!!

Just had my furnace changed from oil to propane. I was very impressed and happy with both Darren and Cody who did the install. Both were very professional, knowledgeable, respectful and great workers who answered any question that I had. These guys did a great job and I'm pretty sure their clean up left my furnace room cleaner then when they started. Also, a shout out to Jordan who stopped by and lent a hand. We had them in to install an new boiler system in the fall and they did an amazing job and were very professional and honest so decided to have them in again to install our ductless ac unit and they were super efficient, clean, honest and professional once again. Called for emergency service on a Sunday in March after 5 year old gas furnace purchased from this company malfunctioned. TRS sent service technition as requested, only to tell us he didn't have the part required on his truck and would be back the next day....... 215.00 charge for confirmation we didn't have heat, wich was fairly obvious.Technition would not go to the shop to go get replacement part until the next day. I would not recommend this company for service.
