Woodstove and chimney install a few years ago at a cottage. Closed the cottage that season and when we opened up the following spring the chimney was leaking with interior damage. They wouldnt stand behind the install because it had been more than 12 month past the installation date. I paid for them to return. Defective application of caulking was apparently the issue according to the service tech. They had no interest in taking responsibly for the repair or the damage they caused. Fast forward a few years later and we have another larger leak. Again, they assume no responsibly and need to be paid. Terrible customer service and possibly inexperienced or careless technicians. Find another company.

In July when we moved in, there were so many issues with this over-100-year-old house that we called it the money pit. The easiest to fix was the wood stove as one call to Marna at Brockville’s Fireplaces Unlimited Heating & Cooling office ascertained. Patrick S. arrived as scheduled (a few minutes early,) quickly laid out a protective cloth and went straight to work. Brushing, cleaning and vacuuming as he went, our firebox was cleaned and repaired, all the too-broken or missing parts were replaced and he was gone after sweeping inside the whole exterior chimney, offering great advice and providing excellent service. Peace of mind cannot be purchased, but I now have zero concerns about heating this winter. Many thanks Marna and Patrick S. We will call again in the Spring for more of your unsurpassed service.

My husband and I went in to look and see stoves as we are replacing one. The lady showed us where they were and asked if needed right away. We said yes and she told us it was a 6 weeks or more and if they could even get one in stock. She then proceeded to say we were looking at a price of $6,200.00 and up. We were shocked that she basically really wasn't trying to sell anything, but rather chase people away. We were shocked.

Our experience was a positive one. Kevin was down to business, quiet, and did what was required. He left in a timely manner. He answered questions when a question was asked, however, the beeping sound is still an ongoing issue. He did however explain why this might be happening.

We had a great experience dealing with Dan, we called about an issues we were having with our new fire place, Dan not only fixed the issue quickly but also pointed out a few other things that needed to be done, all of these issues were covered under warranty and we didn't pay a penny out of pocket. On Aug. 31, we order a barbeque from Fireplaces Unlimited in Brockville. I gave a deposit, and told the barbeque would be in 5 days tops. It took us ten days to receive the barbeque. I was told at the time that the price was all in. That tells me that that tax is included. In the meantime, I hired a pipe fitter to connect the barbeque line to our gas line. The problem, Andy failed to tell us that we we would need a larger head to accommodate the number of BTU's. So, after waiting ten days for the barbeque, we couldn't use it. My husband phoned the Kingston store and complained. He was told that someone would be there the next day to connect the barbeque. They did show up the next day and connected the barbeque to our gas line. Our pipe fitter was back to the house to do other work. He told me it was the worse connection he had ever seen. Then I get the bill. Now there is tax added to the bill. Had I known they were going to charge me for the install, I would have had my pipe fitter come back. It seems a little ironic that after they were in to do the install, all of a sudden the price isn't all in. The company did give us a cover for half price. That was a nice gester. It by no means covered the tax. It was Andy's responsibility to go d us the information regarding the connector. Andy was totally useless. I'm not sure why you even employ him. I will never deal with "FIREPLACES UNLIMITED "again. Not in Brockville. Not anywhere. The gentleman that delivered and set up on both days were great. They aren't to blame. They were simply following orders. Andy is another story Denise

They come into our house witch took forever and they never fixed the problem charged us hundreds of dollars and we still have no heat so not only do we have huge bills from them we have huge hydro bills to heat the house. So I would never recommend them.
