Pros: Great price! Color is exactly what I imagined (black), really great job capping old windows and making them look good again. Cons: poor/no communication at times, downspouts not sufficient, took months to get the job done, aluminum clippings, nails and screws left all over the property, did not follow requests from owner, slope of trough not correct, VERY poor workmanship and finish result, offered me $50 to remove my bad review. Before having the work done my trough leaked, after having job done, it leaked.

I had a small repair job and had a very difficult time finding a contractor to come do the work. Three other contractors said they'd come to see and then no-showed. Luckily I found Shane who responded quickly, fit me in between bigger jobs, and did an outstanding job of matching the existing shingles. Many of my neighbors had repairs done from other contractors and their roofs look terrible. You wouldn't even know mine was repaired. I am not always the easiest person to deal with I like things done perfect and these guys delivered. I could not be more satisfied with the quality and professionalism of this team and owners. When I started my journey into looking for a good roofing company I noticed of the 4 quotes I received from other neighbouring roofing co. Shane was the only one to show up same day that I called and actually got up on my roof, took pictures and even got my roof put on priority. The roof was completed a week later. These guys don't just do roofs they even fixed some areas of my siding that were damaged - Sam is a jack of all trades. I would absolutely recommend this company all day long and that says alot coming from me cause I'm very picky when it comes to how I like things done. These guys did an amazing job back in the fall of 2020. We back onto a field and often lose shingles. The previous roofing company that repaired our roof used the wrong colour shingles that stood out horribly and look like the wood was exposed. These guys not only replaced the shingles that were damage from the wind storm during this time they also removed all the mismatch shingles and replace them with new shingles so that my roof was all matching. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone and if I could remember the name of the other guys I would tell you so that you don’t go to them. These guys went above and beyond what they were supposed to do and I didn’t expect to realize until now that they replaced all the damage or mismatch shingles. Thanks again

I have nothing but good things to say about The Roofing Company. When Shane came to my front door to introduce himself, he was very polite and professional. He showed me all of his credentials, tickets, and other paperwork to assure me that him and his company were a legitimate business. I had already received quotes and estimates from other companies but none of them came with the same professionalism as Shane. He gave me a very fair price, and explained to me everything that they would be doing on the day of the job. He also explained to me that the price that he gave me was final, so that if there was something that was needing to be done on the day of the job that was extra, that his company would cover the cost because he was the one who personally did the walk through and if something was missed, that was on him. He showed me all the products that they would be using and gave me addresses of past roofs that they had done so I could check them out. On the day of the job, the crew showed up at the time that they said they would be there and started work right away. I stayed home that day just to be around and check things out. These guys worked extremely hard all day and were all very friendly. All of the crew wore their PPE and fall arrest equipment. Everything went well all day with no issues and the final product was excellent. The roof looks better than I thought it ever could. Overall my experience with The Roofing Company was great. I strongly recommend this company to anyone who is looking to have their roof done! No complaints.

Whoa! I wasn't expecting such great service by Shane and his crew. A big branch broke off and hit the roof, damaging it and leaving it exposed. Shane promptly responded to my request, tarped up the roof immediately, and him and his crew fixed everything in one day. They were prompt and had the job knocked out in 2 days . A testament to their work and product they use ...6 days after putting on the new shingles was hit with that wind storm in late May with wind gusts registered at 127 km. They came out to check if any damage the next day and did not lose one shingle ... they had curled as not enough time to set ...yet did not come off AND did not curl to the point of cracking ...so none needed replacing .... Talk about a real live test of product and workmanship.... passed with flying colours ... the wind could not get those shingles off but put my daughters trampoline on my neighbors roof .... to me .... nothing more needs to be said... have the pics to prove it.... On top of that they were more then fair with their pricing ... would recommend them to any one .... Great job guys

Tried several times to utilize their services. They quoted last year and took forever to book an appointment to show up and when it was booked they never came. Called several times afterwards and finally received a response that the owner was hurt and he was trying to catch things up. I ended up hiring someone else in the interim and they weren't successful repairing the gutters. Tried calling back The Roofing Company to see if they would replace the corners of the trough like we discussed before. Had one response to a text and nothing else since both text and voicemails. Not sure, but it seems if you don't have a large job, they are not interested in your business, however don't advertise the little jobs then!

So, I dealt with shane primarily from the office and for the quote. He is super easy going zero pressure and broke everything down for what I wanted done. The thing I thought was odd but really professional was he asked me to research around and his company I have literally never been asked to do that he guenuinly wanted my wife and i to feel comfortable choosing them which was awesome. The price was right on what the quote was , work was done right on time and clean up was very well done. I was at work when the guys where here but my wife was happy with there professional manner and I was happy with the clean up and the respect for my property. I have used them twice for my old Victorian home in Brantford. They added an aluminum fascia (capping) to the outside, and did eaves replacement, it totally transformed my home, made it look new. I contacted Shayne after my insurance company denied me. he came out the next night with his partner mark.shayne and mark introduced themselves with a hand shake and all his credentials. they did a great job of going into my attic to try and find the leak as well as climbing on the roof in the dark of the night. they spent more time then the other 2 companies did trying to locate the source of the problem. after a hr we sat down to discuss the situation. mark later came up with a temporary fix. after waiting weeks for the insurance company I took it upon myself to have Shayne send his guys out to do a temporary fix.come spring I will be hiring them to do my new roof. thanks for everything guys. wish all roofers were like this. highly recommend them to anyone who wants a truly honest opion and great guys

We were instantly drawn to Shane’s individual and professional approach, every other company simply shoved a quote in our mailbox, whereas Shane came to the door to introduce himself and show his insurance first before assessing my property and then coming to the door to explain his business, the materials he uses and lastly his quote for the job. We felt that he was extremely knowledgeable and approachable and his quote was competitive and fair. When we made our decision, The Roofing Company was at our house a few days later patching the exposed wood on our roof and securing it so no more damage would be done before they could come and replace it. We were extremely grateful for that as it rained for a month straight afterwards! Extremely happy with The Roofing Company (TRC) from the quoting stage to job completion. I got three quotes (two from friends recommendations) and the one from TRC who I found online. The quotes were very similar but Shane was the only one to mention we had insufficient venting. Then took the time to explain in detail why this is critical to the lifespan of a roof and he would install additional vents. Also, whilst he was up on the roof measuring up he identified two boards needed replacing and this was included in the quote. If it turned out more boards needed replacing after the roof had been stripped he would absorb that cost (other guys wanted up to $85/board on top of quoted price). I was a little surprised when Shane quoted 1 day to do this roof (3200 square feet/105 bundles) plus replace eaves troughs and downspouts. But TRC was good to their word and delivered what they quoted with no additional cost. Including fixing some holes in the soffit where squirrels had been getting in. The crew were very pleasant and courteous and did a great job including clean up. In fact the whole process was completely seamless for my wife who departed as the crew arrived and got home after the job was done (I popped home at lunch time just to see these guys in action). Job well done and would definitely recommend TRC,
