You know that we don't usually bother to set feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Contractor is classified in the category of Second hand store.
Not a bad place to find a bargin. This year they were a bit lacking in the Haloween Costume Dept but still a decent store. The staff are polite and didnt force me to wear a mask which was nice too
Great prices. Great staff. Always left with something great when I go shopping.
We donate here often. But also a great place to pick up some inexpensive items. We needed brown pants and a brown top for school play. Kid would probably only wear it once. Found exactly what we were looking for. If he doesn't were it again we did waste a bunch of money on new and it will likely get donated back.
Little pricey, found used books were alot , once upon a child has way cheaper used bokks, and place seemed really dirty , needs update and more clean
Some used items are over priced. Sorry
Wow. First words. Overpriced walmart George clothes. WUt! price gouging small town where people are broke. Scared. Angry. Pandemic prices. Wake up. .its a expensive 2nd hand Store. By pass. Support local stores.
Interesting inventory at amazing prices. And really good finds too.
Okay experience, value village visits are always exciting. But I'm finding that second hand stores are getting more and more expensive. Hold on , I know it's for a good cause . My theory is , if the items were a little cheaper , people would buy even more thus even more money of charity . Keep in mind that it is a second hand item, and pretty often requires repairs.
The store it's self met expectations, clean , bright, organized, not cluttered, smelt good. The staff how ever were something to be desired being that they were quite absent. Walked up to the till where there were three ladies were chatting. After a short while and some sideways glances they all start walking away with out a word to me or acknowledge that Im waiting for some kind of assistance. A few mins pass as we're standing at the tills, now only employee in sight is the ones tending to the entrance. Few more minutes go by and a lady walks over to the till farthest from me and starts doing something. Few more mins go by while I'm observing no other employees besides the aforementioned, the one at the till who's kept their back turned to me while she's keeping busy. Finally, without having her till light on or any kind of indication that she's a cashier and her lanes open. Sheepishly turns around and asks if I'm waiting in line. Now the simple process of her scanning my items, stating the final total, bagging and handing me my items could not if been met with less motivation, while her demeanor gave the impression that I've interrupted her and am an inconvenience.she rings the items up each of which she's snatches up shuffles it around to the tag frantically, then fumbles the hanger finally tossing it on-top of the pile all disheveled. She then states the total incorrectly twice before I corrected her which was met with a snap response of "I know"! After paying she simply gestures to my pile of items with out offering a bag. The entire experience left me looking for to the cameras as this couldn't actually be happening. Gotta be some kind of hidden camera show or a prank. And really I wish It had been given the level of customer service by the staff. Except the lady at the door, she was very friendly both coming in and going out.
Decent thrift store. Sometimes over priced items!
If I could give this place a 0, that's what it would get. I went there last night and needed to get a few pair of jeans for my son and pants. Well, I'll tell you, for a place that gets all there clothes donated, 34.99 + for jeans and jackets....I don't think so. Some of the jeans that were priced way out of range had holes and stains. The track pants were horrible priced way and to high for the quality. I was disgusted, I will not return and I hope people stop donating there as the profits go towards box stores. So upset! A good place is Super Thrift on 7th. Please donate there (there is also a thrift on Pacific). They give back to our community.
Prices are quite expensive for being a used or gently used store.
Donna happy ???? day nice weekend
Great value. Fun shopping through other peoples hand me downs. You will always find a gem in this place. It's like a treasure hunt each and every time I come out with a nice find.
Great shopping experience at Value Village today.
The prices are too high for the items that are DONATED!
Good place to shop for Halloween costumes. They have a variety of options in costumes to suit your needs on Halloween night. They also have a decent selection in clothing other than some other thrift stores I've been to. The staff here are also pretty decent. Good time visiting here.
I got this exact shirt at VV boutique. For $3 'nough said. 5 stars!
????
During this economic downturn, its a big relief to have a store like value village. The items there are of high quality, surprisingly, the prices are very moderate.
Litte pricey for a secondhand store but otherwise very nice
Clean and well kept store. Easy to find things. The prices are ridiculous however. $20 for a t-shirt? $10 for a candle? For USED AND DONATED goods?! Wal-Mart and Winners have cheaper products and they are new. Staff here is awesome at least so I keep returning for movies and books
If your immune system is stronger than your bank account, then this is the place to buy pants. They also have great deals on books. They are all worn and clearly read, trick your friends into thinking that you are smart and read for leisure.
Very friendly staff and always a wide variety of treasures and unique items! And always keeped very clean!
Great selection of thrift items. Prices are decent too.
Very friendly. Clean. Well organized. A bit pricey on some items. Great deals on others just need to keep your eyes open. Great book selection. Will return
Great customer service
Way too expensive
Best thrift store in brandon. MB
Clean and friendly atmosphere
Nice clean and well organized. This Value Village is also very well Covid prepared with sanitizer at the entrance and good signage.
It’s a bit “meh”, a bit overpriced but i never really liked thrift shops, and also never found anything worth wasting my money on????????♂️????
Very slow and uninterested in serving you at all
I had been quite a regular shopper. That has ended. The reason is; I bought an RCA DVD player a few weeks ago, after playing 3 DVD's it stopped, just died and would not work. I brought it back, no receipt hoping for an exchange as I saw they had a smaller cheaper unit. Was told V.V.'s policy required MGR's approval. MGR was not on the floor. Employee said no can do. Customer (me) please keep your DVD player, and policy, in fairness I cannot return to support any more. There are plenty of options in Brandon and they are actual charities.
Love browsing the iles for little gems. Fun and safe place to shop
No longer any change rooms and no returns allowed -- only a 14-day exchange. Prices are outrageous compared with other second-hand stores.
Find lots of good stuff here. Sometimes shoes for 3 dollars! Very helpful and nice staff.
love the finds.
I love this location. There's so much to choose from, great prices and the staff are friendly! I've found so many wonderful treasures here.
Greeted by the staff upon entry and found what I was looking for. Great place to find second hand and lightly used goods. Cashier was also super friendly. Really enjoy popping in monthly to see what kind of new finds there are.
It's a nice place with good parking space, wheelchairs access. Their used products cut across anything you can think of from clothing to electronics. Good place to go for anybody interested in used product
Actually decent prices on woman's pants and really good for games. Book prices I don't like, (things you can get online for same, if not lower prices are actually higher than expected), so giving 4/5 stars for that.
I don't mind Value Village! I get my books through there. Also have found some clothing.
Terribly high prices for a "second hand" store. Very disappointed.
Was able to find what I wanted
Decent prices for decent merchandise if one can't afford first class living
Good clothes
Prrt
Ok
Gigantic selection, however way over priced for some items. You can get T-shirts, polos and short sleeves sometimes cheaper at Walmart, Giant Tiger or Bluenote.
I love the Value Village in Brandon. For a thrift store the prices may be a little high but you can still find some nice gentle used clothing for a decent price. The store is clean, very well organized and have a large variety of clothing. Staff are friendly. I never walk out empty handed.
Not open right now to do Covid.
Usually good finds. Prices are abit higher
Awesome place , in today's world we need everyone to step up... And try to make a difference.... We need store's like V,V... Not everyone has$$ right now... Be happy, need money right now... People don't have.... ????????
Great place
Some items over priced
I love it. I can always find something to take home
Ok
Fantastic shopping experience. Staff was so incredibly helpful and super polite and sweet ????
Always great finds and great stuff. Excellent way to recycle.
We had a great time browsing through value village tonight. One of the best finds was in the book section - enough math and science text books to teach an army! Unfortunately the books proved to be far too heavy for the new paper bags even though they cost twenty cents (high quality?).
Found what I needed...cheaply. staff were great.
Same as any value village
Outrageous prices for a second hand store
Love this store. Prices are bit high for a thrift store but always have great selection.
I love value village and the people who give to it
Not a huge selection, but extremely clean and well organized. So much nicer than Winnipeg's or Halifax's. Walked out with nothing except a great impression. The staff must be excellent!
I love going here to find books and normally end up leaving the store with a lot of books. Value Village has the most nicest staff there. I love that the place has something for everyone.
Value Village, where I get books and ideas for outdoor projects for up cycling
Great selection but pricy for used cloths.
