May 2020, We had Red Kayak install vinyl plank flooring and carpet after being recommended. Mark & Bobby Jo attended to our home and after showing samples and answering questions a fair estimate was given. The worked was completed in an agreed time space with excellent results and per the estimate. All the staff involved in our home were just excellent and very professional. Kurt was very knowledgeable and did an perfect job with the carpeted open stairs. We were very pleased with their service and wish them all the best, they deserve it. Wally & Monique

Mark , Bobbi-Jo, Gus and Zane were great to work with! We redid our entire upper level (1050 sq feet) with vinyl plank. Beautiful flooring, workmanship was exacting, and they vacuumed every day before they left, plus removed all debris. Price was competitive with 2 other quotes we received. Selected Red Kayak based on a couple of references and are not disappointed.

Over the years, we have always completed our own flooring renovations. For this particular project, we decided to leave it to the professionals and contacted Red Kayak. Mark and Bobby-Jo were excellent and professional to deal with, from coming to our home for consultation, assisted with helping choose the right product for us and answering any of our questions. Travis and Layne did a fantastic job on the installation. Both were professional, left the place spotless and answered our many questions. Red Kayak cares about their customers and returned a few days later to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. We are so happy with our final product and will be calling Red Kayak when its time for our next project.

100 % We had a foot of water in the basement and needed all new flooring. We called and they came with a display trailer right to the house.We picked out the color of the flooring they recommended. Where do I start! Mark and bobbi-jo have been so terrific to deal with! We had carpet done a few months back only to have it ruined by sewer back up from the crazy storm in June. After being overwhelmed by the many flooring choices at a couple of retail stores, we contacted Red Kayak based on a recommendation by an acquaintance. Mark and Bobby-Jo met with us at their warehouse and made some suggestions and then also came to our home to look at the samples we had selected. There was a limited selection at the warehouse, so it was not so overwhelming, and more than enough options to select from. We chose Red Kayak because the pricing was competitive, but mainly because the quote included everything - moving of larger furniture, toilet removal & install, potential cutting down of doors and kickplates. We didn't have to worry about hiring any other contractors (movers, plumbers, carpenters) for the job. We re-did our main floor in Expanse Stonecast XL (vinyl plank) except for the living room, which we re-did in Beaulieu carpet Calm Haven. Prior to and during the install the communication was great and our questions were always answered promptly. The installers Mike and Matt were professional, quick, and we are so happy with the results.

He was called at the last minute a few times due to other contractor issues and always responded with a timely fix to the problem. Bobbi Jo was fantastic to work with and so patient with me, allowing me time to choose a sample. She brought over samples 2-3x and gave honest and helpful advice. I never felt rushed!! We are incredibly happy with what we chose, with the help of her advice. Mark and his installers are great at what they do and you can tell they care and want the best for your home. They also had to fix our basement floor first by pouring and levelling concrete (I hope I said that right? Haha) and they did a fantastic job!! We had an insurance claim and got 3 or 4 quotes from different places. Red Kayak came in at the best price AND the only ones my husband felt was experienced/skilled enough for the job we needed done. (Cuz it sure wasn’t going to be us!! Lol) They were able to deal with the insurance company as well which was a big help. We will never go anywhere else for flooring needs!
