Darryn was introduced to us through a mutual friend. He has done renovation and contracting work for me at my house and at my workplace, the Mississauga Real Estate Board. He is an honest, reasonable and a respectful young man. His workmanship is great, very neat and tidy. Any mess created by him working is cleaned up before he leaves. His rates are reasonably priced when compared with other contractors of his caliber as the first time we hired his services, I took competitive quotes and found him to be reasonable for the quality of work that he does. Darryn is busy so it could be a while at times before he can attend to your job. Trust me, he is well worth the wait. I had an urgent job that needed to be done and got someone else to do it only to regret it later. Would strongly recommend Darryn and DJK Construction to anyone who needs a professional job done by an honest contractor at reasonable rates.

Darren is very professional and is an excellent communicator! From the beginning, he was very straightforward and honest with what to expect for the timeline, the cost and any suggestions he had. He always kept me updated throughout the process from when he started up until to when he finished. Darren and his team demoed our deck, built us a new 10x36 deck, did some landscaping work with our trees and regrading our front lawn, installed drywall for our ceiling living and dining room, and patched up some drywall in our basement. He finished all the work much faster than I expected! Would definitely recommend Darren and his team for quality work!

My husband and I were looking for a company to complete our side fencing as it was a safety issue with our children and the open road. It was a last minute project that we needed to be completed ASAP in the middle of the summer season. As many fencing and construction companies book up well in advance before the busy season, we were sure it was going to be a slight chance we could get someone in to complete this for us. I was recommended to DJK Construction and after I had called the owner he personally got back to me that day to set up an appointment to come down to our home, meet with my husband and I and take a look at our property. He was very respectful in the restrictions of keeping his distance due to Covid and was also able to give us lots of options in regards to what we wanted to do. I was sent quickly after a quote and contract as even though he was busy at the time being summer, he made sure to fit us in as he could understand our worry with the safety with our children and an open back yard. DJK Construction showed up and was able to finish our fence in half a day. They were incredibly polite, and followed Covid guidelines during this process with distancing and his staff came equipped with face masks. The owner Darren was very knowledgeable and gave us his honest opinion for what we needed and didn’t need. Not once did my husband or I feel pressured into spending more money or for a service we did not require. We are over the moon with our new fence and get complimented all the time about the craftsmanship and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend this company if you are new to home renovation or needing work done around the house. They are quick, honest and professional!

We approached him with a draft that we had designed with an earlier builder and he had no problem arranging for gas line markings and all permit approval. This is the 2nd house that we had Darren do our backyard fencing in Mississauga. The quality of the wood is great. He uses grade A, 6x6x10 posts. The 2nd time around, we noticed the wood shift a few weeks later but he came back and fixed it. Great customer service and very professional! Very experienced too.
