My furnace was blowing cold air and I had no idea who to call. I did a google search and saw all of Mike's 5 star reviews. So I gave him a call and man he did not disappoint! I have yet to find a service person with the response time I got from MWK Heating & Cooling. He was at my house about 15 minutes after I called and knew within minutes what the issue was and gave a temporary fix for the night. He came back the next morning at the time he told me he would be by with exactly what he needed. Job was done efficiently, effectively, and in a very reasonable price point. Our furnace went out on a -30 degree Saturday morning. They were there in 30 minutes to fix the issue. Ended up replacing our furnace with a new one, as well as fixed issues with an improperly installed humidifier and improper exhaust pipes that were not up to code. I called MWK at 10 pm when our furnace went out, Michael was here at 10:20, problem was diagnosed by 10:30, he got the part when the store opened the next morning (our crummy furnance model doesn't have 24hr parts service) and had installed it by 8:30. We had an issue with our old furnace not able to keep up with the heating of our house due to its age and would vary between blowing hot and cold air. My husband phoned mike and he was at our house within 20 minutes to look at the issue. Unfortunately it could not be fixed so we had to get a new furnace, but mike was great. Got us quotes on new furnaces, advised on which would be the best deal and was able to come 2 days later to install it! Mike is a true credit to his trade. It's not often you run into a contractor who puts customer service before profits. I ordered a part from Mike for my HWT, unfortunately it was not the part that was faulty. Mike took a look through the viewing window on the HWT and instantly diagnosed the faulty/dirty burner sensor. Mike explained to me what needed to be done, clean the sensor with some sandpaper. Mike left, I followed his instructions and had my HWT up and running in 15 minutes. Mike didn't charge me for his time or his diagnosis. This is the second time we have used MWK, last year when out AC unit crapped out on us.

Mike (MWK Heating and Cooling) has been our friendly heating and cooling guy for a few years now. The first time he came out was to install a gas heater in my garage. It is very difficult to get trades people to come out to our small towns in Saskatchewan. Mike is one of those trades people that does not mind traveling. The next issue we had was our air conditioner died. We had to bite the bullet and replace it. It's a bigger one and cools the house fast. Last night (January 1st, 2018) our furnace kept shutting off. I contacted Mike and told him we were having furnace problems. He gave us some trouble-shooting steps to try. Unfortunately they were not successful. Mike was out on service calls when I first contacted him, seeing the trouble-shooting was unsuccessful Mike had to come out. We live 107K north of Saskatoon. It is nice to have a company that offers 24/7 service, it was cold last night. Mike arrived around 11:30 PM, found a few issues and had us up and running in less then an hour. Woke up this morning to a nice warm house. Thanks again for your, Fast and reliable service and a great price.

A couple years ago I contacted MWK and Mike showed up promptly (after hours call) as my furnace quit in the middle of winter. He fixed it quickly and for a very reasonable price. A few days ago my furnace quit entirely so I got quotes from 7 different companies around Saskatoon. MWK was the cheapest by over $800 PLUS MWK gives 10 years parts+labor AND an extra 5 years on parts. The best comparable warranty from the other companies was 10 years parts+labor (only 1 of the other 6 offered that)

In a very short period of time he diagnosed my problem with the furnace gave me a temporary fix to set me up for the night and came back the next morning with all the parts necessary to fix me up. I chose MWK based on all of the positive reviews I read about Michael. He didn't disappoint. He arrived less than 1.5 hrs after I contacted him (texted him at 8am) and he had my furnace running again in a couple of hours. What I really appreciated was that he was willing to take some time to discuss and explain how my complicated boiler system works and what to do about potential in floor heating leaks. He is coming back to perform one more repair I am in need of and to my surprise is willing to work around my schedule to get it done. I've added Michael to my phone contacts, as he will now be my go to hvac guy for my home, my rental property and my wife's business.

Not a great thing to find the hot water tank quit. Searching the web I saw a review stating he was the best in town!...I am thinking I cant go wrong even if maybe an overstatement. I called MWK and got Michael, I told him about the review and after a laugh, he was on his way in less than a half hour. WIthin 2 hours, it was done. I had a new water tank and a short lived problem. Reasonable deal with the 10 year guarantee. Most are 6 years. Thanks Michael, you were as advertised. Great Service and Communication.

Agreed to inspect the air conditioner, waited 2 days, no one came and did not call. My assessment is negative for such a service. You made the appointment and didn't come at the appointed time. I called. You promised to come later and didn’t come . Here people leave feedback about the company and this means: communication with the client, the cost of work and the quality of work. As a result, what we see. Ridiculous explanations of how people wait for a long time and threats instead of apologies.

Awesome service!!! During the cold snap of -52C windchills, our furnace crapped out. He came to my house within 15 minutes of my calling when all the other places were telling me they couldn’t get there until the next day....ummm hellooo?!?!? Can anyone else say potential for frozen pipes??? He gave us speedy and quick repairs and was about $50 cheaper than anywhere else for the callout fee! Super impressed!
