Great Canadian replaced our shingles for our insurance claim. We were very happy with everything! They were so friendly and did a great job! It was all done in a weekend. They moved all our patio furniture off the deck while they were shingling and moved everything back after, we didn't have to lift a finger! They're all so kind, we would choose them again if we had work that needed to be done!

We dealt with Great Canadian to have our home re-shingled. They stripped the roof and left while pouring rain entered our attic. I had to call to have them come back and seal up openings, in which they just threw a few shingles over some holes. It took them a week to shingle the house and it was the most unprofessional job I've ever seen. Rows were crooked, the chimney wasn't level, and they left a huge mess all over our yard. I brought this to their attention and they sent a guy to do the cleanup and fix the uneven rows. A guy came and only made the problem slightly less noticeable, didn't clean up anything, and even left tools on top of the roof. Our roof looks like it was done by incompetent workers and we still have a mess to deal with. All complaints have fallen on deaf ears. I would highly suggest you steer clear of this company. I'm extremely shocked at the high google rating given our experience. Re: your reply, Our roof is still full of shingles, nails and tools that you said you'd clean up, but didn't. there's still 10 bundles of shingles you said you'd pick up, and didn't. Our yard was left a mess that you said you'd clean up and didn't. Our neighbours even complained to us about the mess left in their yards. I emailed you several times about this and you promised to deal with it. You'd even said you'd pay me to clean up the mess, which I did, but I never received payment. Yes, the original roofing job was done unprofessionally and you came to fix it up. Thanks. But this isn't my main concern.

We had several contractors approach us with estimates for the repairs. In contrast to some of the others, Great Canadian stood out as being very professional. Right from initial contact to project completion. Matt Scherr (field estimator) was very polite and professional in representing the company and making us feel comfortable. The estimate was thorough and the price was very fair. Over the winter as we considered our options, Matt was persistent about staying in touch, but never pushy. Once we decided on Great Canadian, the process was clearly laid out by Matt. Communication between Great Canadian and us was exceptional. They always called letting us know what was going to happen and when. The roof was scheduled, material was dropped off the day the roofing crew started. They worked quickly, treated our property with care, and their workmanship was exceptional. After this, the siding material was dropped off and that crew started. Again, fast, professional, excellent work. This was followed by the eaves-troughing. Again, fast, professional, excellent work. As each stage began, the sub-trade would contact me to let me know they were coming and roughly how long it would take. They were polite, and dealt with any questions I had in a courteous manner. Overall, the whole process was very friendly and professional. Workmanship was exceptional. No short cuts or cut corners. Each crew cleaned up after themselves. Our property was always kept tidy during the process. We would have no reservations about recommending Great Canadian Roofing and Siding as your contractor.

We had our roof reshingled by Great Canadian Roofing earlier this spring. They did a fantastic job. There were a couple delays due to rain but the roof was covered. They cleaned up at the end of everyday so nails were not left everywhere. Professional job. And they did this all without making disparaging comments about other roofing companies. I will refer my clients to them without hesitation.

If I could give this company a zero I would. Paid a fortune trying to get my brand new eavestroughs to stop leaking. Could barely get them to come back and when they did, they made things a lot worse. Then they avoided us, gave us the run around, then got extremely mad when we finally got through to them. All we wanted was to get our new eavestrough fixed once and for all. I’m disabled so I was totally reliant and dependant on their help. And they knew that. Instead, I got avoided and then yelled at. Went with a different company and we got fixed right.

Our experience with Great Canadian Roofing and Siding was very positive from start to finish. There were no lags that left us wondering (whatever, whenever, etc.) Matt was our starting point. He was very professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and a total pleasure to deal with. TJ, the Installation Manager; and his crew were very conscientious so did a spectacular job. As the job neared completion Shaydon, the Project Manager came to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Everyone was respectful, hardworking and personable - a wonderful crew to work with.

We chose Great Canadian to install Hardie plank siding on our house. The appraiser not only met with us and answered our questions but promised the workmanship would be superior to other homes in the neighbourhood with similar product. The day before the work began a team of four arrived to inspect the worksite and made recommendations about removing pictures and mirrors inside the house that may fall off when they went to remove stucco off the exterior and remove any exterior solar lights or exterior decor located close to the house. We were also told tarping around the house would be done to contain the stucco being removed. Once work began, the experience was very sub par. No tarp was laid out to catch the stucco. One of the outside facets was bent, downspouts were crushed, our wood walkway had some curse words engraved in it and some of the work was done in a sloppy manner. This work started at the end of August and we are nearing the end of October and are still waiting to have all issues resolved. This has been one of the worst experiences ever. Would not recommend this company to do siding for anyone.

The crew that came out to do wind damage replacement of our siding were amazing. They were professional and friendly. They were extremely hard working and therefore fast at a difficult siding job. Our house is two levels with a steep sloped roof and hard to work areas. They brought the necessary equipment and managed to do the job in less time than we expected. The yard was kept free of debris continually throughout the process. It was wonderful. They were a crew of a husband, wife and son and worked so effortlessly together. You can tell they take pride in doing a quality job. We got to know them a bit while they were here and crazy as it sounds we were sorry to see them go when they were finished. Best experience for what we expected to be a very long and uncomfortable week.

Great Canadian was recommended to me from my insurance company Wawanesa. During a storm in 2020 my shingles were damaged. It took GC (great canadian) until Winter 2021 to replace the shingles and they did them in the wrong color. The worker said he noticed this, but was "doing what he was told". The shingles lifted within no time. I also reported that the color was not acceptable. July 2021 was when a worker came out to replace the entire north side. This is after multiple cancellations on their end. 2 workers came. 1 worker worked while the other napped in the truck. I was told the 2nd worker wasn't feeling well. The worker asked if he could leave his trailer as he was done for the evening and not to worry, he "water proofed" the roof. I said not problem. I later found out he went over to a neighbours house that same evening when he was "done for the night" to do some side work on their home. The next day he called, said it was too hot to come out. Trailer still filling up my driveway but ok. That night it rained. The worker came out next day and finished the roof. That evening I noticed on my living room ceiling a plate-sized circular yellow wet spot on my ceiling. I called and let them know. They came and inspected in the fall (same guy who did my roof). I am still waiting for someone to come and fix my living room ceiling in Nov 2021. I feel like I am a small job and I wasn't important enough from the get-go. Ive definitely fallen through the cracks. I'm not one for hounding people and causing a stink, I shouldn't have to relentlessly call a company to get service that is long overdue. Very disappointed in their service. Wouldn't recommend and will not recommend to anyone.

I recently had my roofing and siding done by Great Canadian Saskatoon, the salesman was very thorough in products and taking care of our needs, the lady in the office was friendly and informative, the crew onsite was very knowledgeable with top notch workmanship and had the job done in no time. The project managers always kept us informed and made sure the job was running smoothly. We also had a curtesy call from the Manager to see how the job was going (thumbs up on that) and the guys ALSO came back to cleanup once the snow was gone. I have to say from start to finish they made the process so easy for us and our home looks fabulous we love it. I would HANDS down recommends them to anyone I know. We had 1/4 of our shingles fly off in a crazy wind-gust. We had no idea that the existing shingles hadn’t been installed properly. Great Canadian came and quickly and efficiently removed and replaced all of the shingles. They also installed additional vents as we did not have sufficient venting! The gentleman in charge of this job, Ray, was very professional start to clean-up! And we really appreciated how hard he and his assistants worked in 30+ heat to get the job done. Called them for a small siding repair. One siding that popped out. Came promptly and fixed it the next day using the old siding. After one week its kinda popping out again a little bit. And then today, third week of Dec, its back to the old problem again. Update: Ok, so they came back today to fix the siding. They drilled a screw through the vinyl siding to hold it in place, maybe? ???? Pros: Fast to respond, and courteous.

Anyone else notice the reviews for this company seem fake? Most of the people have no profile picture and one 1 review? When they did my roof they had at least 40 exposed nails outside the shingle line..shot nails through the drip edge and ruined it....wrecked the facia and left exposed wood. Nails and shingle debries all over the ground. Neighbors complained of marijuana smell when the crew showwed up...cant prove it.. buts based on the job they did...its pretty safe to say somebody was stoned.

We just had all our siding replaced in April . They dropped the product off on Tues April 24 as they had promised. Started promptly on Wed April 25 about 9am and were totally finished our 2 story by Friday 5pm. Each day they cleaned up before they left.Bonus !! Matt our estimator did a great job and Mathew the Project Manager stopped in to check progress and see if we had any concerns. The crew were friendly and polite . Follow up and inspection was Monday May 2 . Job well done .Thx ! BIG ADD ON !!Step #2 We now have had our roof shingled starting Aug 21 .They dropped the shingles off a couple of days before and showed up on the arranged date. Once again NO HASSLES, and they completed all and cleaned up by Friday Aug 24 !! In fact, my husband wanted a down spout added on the north west corner...they arranged it all and came THAT SAME AFTERNOON and did it ! All the people involved were awesome and friendly . When you are satisfied with the company, all I can say is "Stick with them !"

It took longer than expected because the house is over 80 years old and had been remodeled three times. Great Canadian fixed all the unknown problems and honored the original quote. After a spring blizzard blew part of my roof off, they came out and did an emergency repair. When weather permitted, they came back to re-shingle the roof. They were prompt, professional and they brought out a shingle samples booklet to my acreage! I told them after they finished that this was the cleanest roofing job site I had seen.
