I had a wonderful experience using Go2Guys, specifically with Terry. He went above and beyond to help me with the repairs I needed in my home. I had a budget to work within and he made it happen. He kept me in the loop making sure to update and communicate with me throughout the job. The crew keep my home as clean as possible during the repairs. Any Go2Guys staff I met in my home was friendly and hard working. Terry took the time to make sure I was happy with the work and ensured my house was cleaned properly when the job was done. Shane and the Go2Guys painted our house this summer. The experience was smooth and painless, and the outcome was fantastic. We contacted Shane, and he came to the house and got a reasonable estimate back to us right away. Within a couple of weeks, the team was at our home. They worked very hard until the job was done, which we really appreciated. We have an older, 'character' home, and they took great care with it. We are extremely pleased with the outcome, and we would hire them again in the future without hesitation. We give them 5 stars!

Had my roof, soffits, facia, and eves done. Dennica was great and always fun and cheery whether I was in the office or on the phone. Terry was quick to get me a quote and answer any questions I had. Shane even called me to let me know where we were at with the guys as there were different teams doing different parts of the project and we were battling the -40 weather. He also addressed my concerns about the roof in the -40 weather and he assured me eveything was good but if we saw anything come spring to give him a call. That was very reassuring for me as I am having to redo my roof before its time because of a different company used previously. All of the team was nice and friendly and answered any questions I had during their process. I am very happy with the out come and will happily recommend Go2Guys to friends and family. I normally don't write reviews, but i felt this was my only option to hold this outfit somewhat accountable. Go2guys replaced the eavestroughs on my house. The installer never installed a drip edge, nor communicated that there wasn't an existing one. Which led to any water coming off the roof to end up pooling on the side of my house and soaking the sheeting under the shingles instead of flowing down the eaves. The eavestroughs would have never worked properly from the date of installation, they more or less just hung 50' of aluminum and charged me for it. Go2guys wouldn't correct the shoddy work even though it was well within the warranty period. This company has zero accountability, and showed a great deal of incompetence on a very simple job. Would not recommend. ps: Brian Pawlachuk was the project manager i was dealing with at go2guys. He left a glowing review of G2G below... Take it with a grain of salt.

We hired the Go2Guys to redo the exterior of our home. From the initial quote to the final details they were attentive to details and worked with us to achieve the results we envisioned. Shane was creative in suggesting and supporting unique ideas. They removed stucco, replaced it with a mix of vinyl and hardy board, as well as did some cladding, replaced the eaves trough and facia, and redid the parging. The crew of workers were professional and approachable. We are very pleased with the finished renovation and would not hesitate to recommend them for your next project.

I was looking to replace the shingles on my roof and garage through a hail claim. Unfortunately, this company expects the customer to hand over 15%-30% (it changes depending on who you talk to) as a deposit despite it being a pre-approved insurance claim. Good thing that the very first competitor that I called had no absolutely no problem with accepting the claim with no "deposit". It's a shame, I have a lot more reno's to do, and would have liked to keep all of my business with one contractor. Oh well, at least I know who not to call. ***EDIT*** Strange that I'm not in your system - estimate 9872. The estimator who worked off the actual insurance paperwork told us specifically that a deposit was required. This was confirmed by your receptionist when I called to book the job.

We had Shane come and do an inspection on our roof after having a terrible experience with one of the other roofers in Saskatoon. We were relieved that he made time to fit us in. He provided pictures and gave us a very honest report of which were code deficiencies, which were potential problem areas, and which were just cosmetic mistakes that wouldn't be problematic. I'm very grateful that we called him. We will be using Go2Guys for our next project!

Quick response time, poor communication amongst their team. I phoned and requested a quote to clean my eaves - noting the house was tall and the eaves had gutter guards. Quote was provided, but found out later it was done using Google Earth and not by anybody who actually looked at my house first. End result was the crew was not aware of the guards and could not do the work requested. They did clean material from the top of the gutter guards - leaving the dirt on my fence/porch for me to clean-up. Overall, my eaves are still clogged and I had to clean-up after the crew. Agreed that I would only have to pay 50% of the quote, which was reasonable given the work performed.

We had some initial problems with the roofing job done by one of their crews, but Shane and his new crew went over and above our expectations to fix the problem, including spending out of his own pocket to ensure we had a roof that we could live under for years to come, and a company that we will recommend to anyone who asks.

Great experience with GO2GUYS and their staff. Met with Kyle Scollo their estimator about a project that we wanted done at our condos Townhomes of Old Nutana. Kyle listened to what we wanted done, developed a scope of work along with a price estimate. On the day that the work was to be done, I met with Kyle and his crew to go over scope of work. Work was done in a day, staff doing the work was very capable and respectful of our property. This winter we have used GO2GUYS with great success, All it takes is a call to Kyle Scollo and the work is completed as listed out in scope of work.

We used the Go2Guys to replace some soffit and fascia that had blown off our house. The whole experience was sub-par. All we required was 4 pieces of fascia and one piece of soffit and it took over a month to get the quote. We approved the price and were told they were booking a few weeks in advance. We waited about 3.5 weeks without any contact. When I contacted them, they told me they would be out there that day...they showed up two days later. When they did show up, the handyman did not do the work as per the estimate. We contacted G2G and let them know. The handyman came out to finish the work and gave attitude for having to do so. I was very clear with what I wanted done. The quality of the work did meet my expectations. With some better systems in their business, G2G could make their customer experience better. I won't be calling them again.

Booked an appointment for water line to fridge...Estimate was done but never received it...21 Days later when they contacted me after i sent them an email to see if they were still interested ,They answered that it was sent to email and do I want them to send it again...Should of been the first red flag...I said yes please do...Over priced estimate came in and was advised that final invoice was going to be reflecting the hours worked and material...Plumber and apprentice (very nice guys) showed up and finish the job within an hour...The only problem is that the lazy susan is restricted from turning since the water line is just laying at the bottom...Estimate was 5 hrs and $75. for material with 50% down before the job...Got the final invoice and they wanted the other 50%...I told them to fix the final invoice to reflect the actual time it took...First I was questioned as what was wrong with the final invoice...Finally I was told that My deposit would cover the work done...so that's 2,5 hrs + material...Why should I pay 1.5 hrs extra? And they did borrow my pliers so they didn't have to run back to the truck... This the explanation I got from the over charged invoice: "Sorry i didn't get a chance to review it before it was sent out. Your correct it only took half the time to put the waterline in, as Plumber had a helper. I just voided the invoice you were sent. I think the 2.5 hours is sufficient to cover plumber time and his helper. Which you have paid already. Have a great weekend! " So my reasoning is they don't want to issue a refund and they sure did not need to be 2 for the job... I do not recommend this company as I am very unimpressed even tho a friend asked me to give them a second chance after the email fiasco...

I had a different contractor install roof vents to vent my bathroom fans. They were not installed properly (shingles did not cover the top or sides of the vents), so I contacted go2guys to see if they would be willing to repair the job I was told by the other contractor was completed correctly. They were more than willing to fix the problem and sent someone out to fix them. Friendly service from the first contact to the job being completed and I am now feeling much more confident there won't be any issues with the vents, as they are now installed properly.

I called the Go2Guys in the morning and by noon the same day, they arrived to remove the ice dams on my roof. My house is 2 stories high with dormers, not an easy task. They worked for more than 3 hours, were careful and respectful of my classic heritage home, and removed the ice dams and cleaned up the ground areas before leaving. What a great experience! I had some issues with some shingles. I booked in seamlessly without any issues. They were super friendly and understanding on the phone. Booked a quote three weeks in advance only to have them to call and cancel on us an hour after they were supposed to show up. The owner who was supposed to do the quote was unreachable. The receptionist was very kind and apologetic and was the only good part of the experience. Disappointed that we were left to wait for so long only to be stood up.

A 'Diamond company '! In today's business environment, there are few contractors you can trust to do good work. Whether it is poor employees or a lack of accountability, honest service is rare. This company exemplifies great customer service and honest accountability. They did major renovations for me on a home I purchased 3.5 years ago. I recently had some major issues with one side of the eavestrough they replaced before. I called the office and explained my situation(excellent receptionist). The company sent out a person to check within 3 days of my call. The eaves were replaced by a fantastic team within a week. This accountability is rare! Thank you to the great teams at the Go2Guys!

We did a very large reno in our house last year, including removal of a wall, closing in a window, complete kitchen redesign, new railing, trim, doors, flooring, painting, etc. Go2Guys was excellent from the start to the finish of the project. Things remained on time and on budget (except where I added things to the project part way through, which they were always happy to accommodate). Every detail was thought about and every inch of the finished product was of high quality and workmanship. One year later, we still have not had any issues or any concerns. It was wonderful to have Bryan and Tyler managing our project. They were very accommodating, but also provided suggestions when appropriate, which I very much appreciated. All the workers were great and did a fantastic job, but a special shout out to Natalie who spent a lot of time at our project, you can tell she cares a lot about the work she is doing. I've had the Go2Guys do a lot of work at two different properties for me ; full kitchen and bathroom renovations, siding, flooring, a new water heater, and a 6 foot wood fence around my yard. They have always been respectful, professional, and wonderful to deal with. Their prices have been very fair, I've not had any unexpected expenses, and they finished the work in a timely fashion. The staff have been amazing - friendly, courteous, easy to communicate with, and they were kind to my family and pets who sometimes got in their way I'm sure! Nick did a lot of work for me; I appreciated his attention to detail and it's obvious he takes pride in his work and enjoys it. Tyler and Brian were both great to deal with as they managed my big projects - always easy to get in touch with if I had a questions or concerns and they dealt with any problems right away. Kim did a wonderful job painting a bedroom, bathrooms and doors for me. She was very careful to not make a mess, she was efficient and was very friendly. I can't say enough good things about the staff at Go2Guys and Go2Girls. When my husband passed away unexpectedly in the middle of a big project they were so kind, compassionate, supportive and respectful. As a widow, I rely on them now as my 'handymen' and they are always happy to come do little jobs for me as well as any big projects.

I have used the services of Go2Guys several times since 2016. They replaced my shingles and eavestroughs and did a major renovation of my basement. My house is an older character house which presents some challenges! The workers who replaced the shingles were very hard-working and conscientious. Tyler was the contractor for the basement renovation and he and his staff were friendly and professional. They were reliable and kept appointment times. We worked together to solve any issues/problems. The basement renovation is beautiful and we love it so much. They certainly were my Go2Guys! During a couple of winters I had difficulty with ice damming on the roof as well as condensation. The owner, Shane, immediately sent staff over to deal with the issue. Even though I worried I was bothering him, he was very gracious and generous with their assistance. I recently had another team (Jeff and Adam and Kaleb, etc) assist me with some repairs and they were all very helpful and skilled. I appreciated all that they did to fix some issues. I have recommended this company to friends and family and will continue to do so. Thank you for all your professional assistance over the years!

Go2Guys replaced our eaves and a window well, which solved some water issues we were having. They also fixed damage to our soffits from a wind storm. In each case, the guys working on our house were professional, friendly and did a great job. They stayed in contact to let us know when they were coming, or if they would be delayed (weather related and beyond their control). Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this team for any general maintenance projects. We will definitely call them again.

I only needed eavestrough replaced across the front of my double garage. I commented on Facebook that no one wanted to do little jobs as other companies had said they’d come and give me a quote and then no showed. Shane read my quote one pm and his guys were at my door at 8:15 the next am! They were done the job in 3/4 of an hour. Can’t say enough good about them!!! My experience with the Go2Guys was sub par at best. The quality of work was well done, but it was a royal pain in the ass to get to the crews to arrive. I hired them for shingles, soffit and fascia. I patiently waited one week after the scheduled start date without a crew arriving and not a single call from the company. I made 3 separate calls to get some answers and no one would call me back. I asked for my deposit back and that’s finally when I received a call from the owner. They told me they were 8 weeks behind schedule and they were really sorry for the misunderstanding. When I booked they knew how far behind schedule they were right? Of course they did, the owner verified that and proceeded to tell me how terrible his employees were at organizing, scheduling and communicating with customers. That’s not a professional way to go about things.... he then mentioned he would like to fire a manager or two due to these very same issues, however he would have no one left to do the work for him. Yes, those were his exact words. He offered a discount and some free work and to get started ASAP on my place, so I decided to leave my deposit with them, even though I didn’t support his behaviour. I stuck with them because of the good quality work his crews hold themselves up to. In my opinion, the owner of this company is not top notch as others have claimed. He is also unprofessional. If he improves his customer service skills and a positive attitude I think this could be a great company, as for now, I do not recommend them.

I am proud to say that Go2Guys have done a great job on my renovations, it looks awesome! The bathroom renovation looks amazing and everything is just as I imagine it would be. There were some issues with different parts but they were quickly remediated. The roofing was completed in one day and they did a great job of cleaning all the things up off the ground when the job was finished. The new windows were all placed in one day however it took awhile for the installation to be complete. They look amazing now! We added insulation to all the exterior walls which also took quite a while to complete, but I can't be happier with the finished look. I would like to say that the company was great at letting me know what was happening and when someone would be here do their job. I would also like to mention that even when it was -30, they still showed up to do the outside work. The finishing carpenter lady was excellent and did an immaculate job of replacing part of a window frame that was minutely damaged! Also the lady cleaning and painting and moving all the furniture in the basement, she was always happy no matter what! I would like to thank all the management team for the great job and I have already decided to hire them again for more interior work! Before the job started they came out and gave me a quote, answered all my questions, and gave me a few different repair choices. I have a roofing job and was going to call these guys until I saw how they treated the customer with eavestrough and no drip edge. What kind of roofing professional installs eaves without a drip edge(regardless if there wasn't one present before) and doesn't inform the customer on top of that! It is ultimately done wrong and not in the customer's best interest if the next rain damages their property. You cannot claim "the eaves are installed correctly" if they don't function per their intended purpose. Your response is to blame the customer and try to charge them more to fix your incompetence? I'm glad I found that review before I called these guys.

It was finished well before Christmas, we were very pleased with the clean up each and every day. The work that was completed was flawless. I hired Go 2 Guys on two separate occasions. They came out each time to inspect the issue I needed fixed and then promptly provided a quote. They are always super friendly and eager to assist and they do great work on any project. I had them do a variety of things from interior painting and flooring, to exterior grading and repairs. They are clean and courteous and I wouldn’t hesitate to contact them if I had another job “but just not sure who to call”. Call Go 2 Guys!

Go2Guys were recommended to me through social media. Sent them a message through their website regarding some water coming in through the attic. Their administrative staff quickly emailed back and they said had sent it off to be looked at by the owner. The owner (Shane) called later that afternoon and said he would send his general contractor out to look into the issue. They worked around our schedule and even at that sent someone in the afternoon the next day. Ryan was punctual, friendly, and helped us out. Very appreciative that Go2Guys were able to help us out so quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs help with their home.

Many contractors can do quality work but this team of guys and girls do an amazing job and keeping the client in the loop of what is happening, whether its delays or progress and that makes it easy to not worry about your work being done. Unfortunately I dealt with another contractors before calling the Go2Guys and im happy it ended up this way because their level of quality is great but their level of customers service is second to none. Great work team!

We had this company rebuild our deck last year. The first group of guys weren't even carpenters. They started to rebuild the deck but it was a total disaster. They peed under our deck as well... They finally brought in real carpenters after we complained several times. The second group of guys were a little better but the construction was substandard. Screws put in and removed from the decking leaving raised wood splinters., uneven deck spacing, a total hack job. They were to install a Trex Trough system but instead used some other cheap trough metal material that makes noise when you walk on the deck. We marked out deficiencies but they didn't do anything about it. We just wanted them out of our yard. It turned out just ok but not for what we paid. I do not recommend Go To Guys Saskatoon.

We had contacted Go2guys before checking "better business bureau" and we were treated like we did not matter. The man we spoke to was very pushy and was being very unhelpful. We definitely do not trust them after learning about them on better business bureau and what they did to others.
