Excellent company, very professional and quick service. Called them when our furnaces went in our house during the coldest week of the year. They were there the next day to give a quote for us and talk about different options. Listened to what our plans were for the future of the house and helped us go from 2 furnaces to 1, also gave advice on how we could upgrade the duct work on our own knowing that we were on a budget. Instillation was quick, they cleaned up after themselves really well and even helped me figure out the thermostat and showed me everything I needed to know about our furnace. Later in the evening I was admiring the new furnace and noticed a big puddle under the hot water tank, called them and in less then an hour I had quotes on different options with them remembering all the things we had talked about in the original furnace quote. They were here in a few days and the install went as smooth as the first time. Their 24 hour service line, professionalism and ability to connect with their clients is why I will 100% recommend them to anyone looking for this type of service.

Update: The owner of the company contacted me to inform me that I was no longer to receive services from them after I had abused their staff by calling them a "fxcking misogynist". They agreed to reimburse me for what I had paid (since my furnace still not works today). I literally told the technician "you clearly have a problem talking to women, especially a Native woman and a woman with an accent." I work professionally in this area and will not take it lightly. Neither the discrimination nor the subsequent lies about me.

June 2021 I had the furngaceguys back to my home, this time to install AC. Again they were prompt, courteous, and efficient. I trust them to do quality work and follow up service to keep my condo comfortable through the fluctuating Saskatchewan seasons! The Furnaceguys installed a new furnace and water heater in my condo Nov 2020. It was a difficult installation involving many hours in a crawlspace. They were cheerful through the process and communicated clearly to keep me informed of what was happening. In Jan 2021 when the temperatures were in the -30s, my furnace quit. They came quickly, determined ice had collected in the exhaust pipe, and modified the system to clear the ice and prevent future build up. I appreciate that they text a photo of the technician and when I can expect their arrival. For their professional manner and skilled work, I heartily recommend the Furnaceguys.

These guys were great, my furnace is 20 years old and was making some unhealthy noise, they sent a guy in for an inspection, it was the motor which they replaced and now it runs perfectly. No up selling me or telling me to replace the furnace, just honest work from honest people. Price was in line from other estimates as well, not the cheapest but not the most expensive. They told me that i would be better off buying a new furnace then fix my current furnace. Charged me $130 with nothing done to try and fix the furnace. We had a great experience with the Furnaceguys. The owner ended up doing our assessment and he gave us lots of recommendations to ensure our new air conditioner was as effective as possible. When he realized we would need an electrician as well, he told us about someone he trusted to do the work for us and coordinate with his team. The installation was smooth and neat, no mess inside our house or in the yard. Overall, the communication was stellar and they even taught us some secrets of how to re-program our existing thermostat. Definitely the experts, we’ll be hiring them again.

I should've written this review two summers ago when the furnace died right at the beginning of +33 temps (meaning...no AC!). My husband was out of town and I was leaving town in two days. So, just the perfect storm (of first world problems). Furnace Guys were out almost immediately, walked me through my options (replace - it was 19 years old) and were super awesome even though we've got a hobbit door into the furnace room and a strategically placed pipe that you bonk your head on 100% of the time in that room. I spoke to the owner with some questions and he was just a really helpful, totally straightforward guy who made me feel so much better handling this in a time crunch (but without making me feel like he was patting on the head and talking down to me - not uncommon as a woman dealing with trades). And not because I was high maintenance! He went out of his way to call me to answer some questions personally - above and beyond. Then, they basically just took care of everything. Nothing skeevy, no upsell attempts (and there were several available - AC unit and water heater are as old, and instead, they reassured me that I would likely get another year or two out of them), no complications. Dealt with almost everything via email (super handy while travelling) and then texted to say that it was installed, and they set it a little higher than usual knowing we were gone on holidays. Very thoughtful! Our water heater kicked the bucket last week and they had a new one in in 24 hours. Again, zero fuss, easy to deal with, no nonsense. I would recommend the Furnace Guys team without hesitation. In an industry filled with bordering-on-scam companies that want to sign you up for expensive service plans and rent you equipment at exorbitant rates, talk you into anything they can and take advantage of any lack of knowledge or urgency, they were straightforward, professional and made spending thousands of dollars unexpectedly as painless as it could be.

He is so good that he made the last person, from another company, who came in to fix my furnace a joke! The plan I had in my mind would have costed me thousands of dollars, however, when Dennis(the owner) came to my house to give me a quote, he figured out a solution to the problem and long story short- I ended up paying just a few hundred $ instead of thousands. Our air conditioner was not working so we called Furnace guys. They sent someone out right away. The technician led us to believe that our only option was to replace our unit due to it's age. He said that he would not fix it because there was no point. He was a good salesman in that we believed him and even wrote the cheque Upon further investigation we found out that not only could we have it fixed, but we could replace it for half the cost! We found his tactics dishonest and cancelled the cheque. Our unit will be fixed by another company. This same representative also tried to sell us a new furnace last year, rather than fix it using the same sales pitch We will not be calling them again and recommend a second opinion if you choose to use their services.

I've had these people come over a few times now and they're super convenient to book, friendly, and they answer my many questions! (Sometimes referring me to others, but very good) I think I picked them the first time because there rates were comparable or maybe a bit lower for the area, so seems like good value. Duct cleaning (with pressure drop testing) is next! Learned they keep excellent records too, so there's a benefit to using them consistently.

They made sure to clean up any mess, and at the end of the day, other then a new furnace, you wouldn't have known they were even there! They have an awesome reminder system and a notification when the tech is on his way. Very helpful service. Mitchel came over on time and was very informative as to the issues and solutions. This “Guy” knows his stuff!! He installed, at my request, a wifi thermostat controller that can be operated from anywhere in world. he was very patient with me as he set it all up for us. We discussed the issue of our boiler heating stopping occasionally. He suggested a plan to watch for certain things that can trigger further diagnosis before spending all sorts of money on guess work. It would have been so easy for him to just start switching out parts with the price tag soaring, but he elected to take the honest and safe approach. I was so pleased with his approach. I tried one company and they couldn't have someone out until 7 am and then I tried the Furnace Guys and they had someone out within 30 mins. They were very personable and easy to talk with, explaining all my options and answering all my questions. My furnace is working great for the foreseeable future. I feel like they offered great expertise and service for what they charged me.

The man working was friendly, polite, patient, knowledgeable and professional. He thoroughly explained everything that he was checking to me, and answered all of my questions during the process. He had to get a new part for our furnace, which he did immediately (luckily, the part we needed was in stock at their warehouse) and came back quickly to replace it. Our furnace was repaired the same night and we have not had any issues since. They will be the company we call for future needs!

Still waiting (since May 2017) for Dennis to call us back about the Air Conditioner they installed last summer. My living room is 30 degrees today, even after paying an additional cost for extra sheet metal work to add vents to it after the initial A/C install last year. Cooling issue still isn't resolved. And my thermostat was relocated to my basement from my upstairs hallway during the installation, which probably wouldn't be as irritating if the system had actually worked properly from the start. It would be great to have A/C that actually cools my whole home after spending all that money.

Super friendly, responsive and took the time to explain the issue with my furnace which, given the fact that I called them out on a Saturday evening, was very welcome! I will say it took multiple visits to address the issue completely, but I never had to pay for consecutive visits, they explained what they learned about my particular issue as they were learning it, and I never went long between visits without heat. Definitely will use them again if my furnace ever acts up!

Called the Furnace Guys early after notice of operation issues. Front office gal was very helpful/ understanding and made arrangement to have a technician attend within the hour (-40C with WC)! Neb arrived about 20 min late (but gave update text notice of his time line). He was not totally familiar with the 25 yr old Pulse Furnace BUT made some calls to his colleagues for advice AND called a knowledgeable furnace dealer to get specialist advice. He found one issue but was unable to investigate further due to restrictions in furnace design. Neb was very informative and treated his customer with respect regarding potential issues, solutions, replacement, etc. Did not push a new furnace but advised on what was the latest in furnace design/ operation. Took some measurements and the customer agreed to a sales person making a call in a few days. All in all a good experience even though no actual "fix" applied!

Have been dealing with furnace guys since I purchased my home in 2013. Just had them come to my home for a furnace inspection last week. The technician, Mitch, whom I have had prior experience with, was prompt, professional, and, as always, took the time to explain what was being done and also explained any recommendations that he felt need to be implemented. For example, I was using I high end furnace filter which was severely restricting airflow to my furnace, causing my blower motor to work harder than needed making it louder. I used the filter provided by Mitch and you could hardly hear any noise coming from the furnace. Some people may consider Furnace Guys to be pricey but, in my opinion, they are definately earning the money with the level of service they provide. Thank you Furnace Guys for your services, looking forward to doing business with you in the future ( hopefully it won't be under emergency service call circumstances).

I should have read these reviews before I called them. I did have a salesperson coming and put a red label on my furnace and scrapped it, while it was obversely fixable. After we did some clean up the furnace started running like before. I'm GUESSING that the guy noticed that 80 bucks would be the only cash he could take from this visit, he insisted that something wrong behind the furnace and that's a security concern. He put a label on my furnace and told me that replacing is my ONLY CHOICE. I talked to few friends about this and found out that a lot of people experienced the same thing as mine. So regret I didn't do my research before I called them in. It ended up with 5,000 bill, instead of 80 bucks fix. I'm gathering info from this friends/neighbors who experienced the same and try to put a lawsuit against this company, as they are playing the exactly same tricks on us. Please be really cautious when you deal with them.

I received a confirmation message and email of my booked appointment following my call for service. The day before my booked appointment, I was sent a reminder email and message and on the day of the appointment I received another email and message with the name of the technician, his service rating and a picture of what he looked like. I was also provided a link to track his location. The technician arrived at the beginning of the appointment time range I was given. He resolved the air conditioner issue quickly and upon discussion with him, he also installed a new thermostat. He was knowledgeable and answered all my inquiries promptly. Purchased an air conditioning unit brand new for my home from this company in may 2016. After attempting to use the heat in my home in october, i found it is not working.(initially i thought the system was heating to 20 and stopping but i believe my townhouse was just being warmed by the 2 adjacent units as no heat was being produced from the vents.) The furnace was taken apart to add on the air conditioning and so i thought that this was due to the ac installation. I called and let them know this, a technician was sent to my house and within a minute or 2 noted a switch or something was in the wrong position and that someone must have bumped the switch or whatever it was. (The heat worked after this.) I was then billed 150 dollars for this service call which i disputed (and dont recall being quoted for) to pay since the heater worked in spring and now doesnt in the fall. (Not to mention paying for a new air conditioner.) On thursday for reasons unknown my furnace began making a knocking or rattling sound and upon checking visually... it was leaking water, so i shut it down and cleaned the mess. My wife called to have someone come check and they told us we are put on a "do not service list" Due to the concern i had with the heater. I called in and explained again the earlier reasoning behind not feeling like i should pay for this $150.00 and expressed to them once again that the heater was working prior to the install. The person who attended to my call passed this to the owner who then called me within an hour later. I explained this to the owner who then told me the technicians notes stated the problem couldnt be repoduced at that time, that the setting was a water temp setting (i thought he just said they couldnt reproduce the problem???) that i mustve noticed the cold water temps over the past few months and been taking cold showers? "i never noticed a water temp concern myself and yeah i take cold showers" i replied. And finally that once i paid the service charge or if i committed to paying it, then they would send someone to check the furnace... and we could be cleared off of this "do not service list" and start fresh. No thanks.

Called them for a repair on my 10 year old furnace. The guy said that it could be a fix that would equal out to a new furnace, so he tried to sell me on a new furnace through them. I called for a second opinion and the other plumber fixed it for 500 bucks, not 3,000 like I was originally quoted. This isn't the first time I've heard about this through these guys, so be aware when you call for a repair, you might get a young salesman rather than an actual technician. This "service" cost me 400 bucks for them to tell me that a motor was shot. Won't recommend or call these guys again.

Dustin responded to the call, diagnosed the problem over the phone, and even met with a parts distributor at 3am to get the exact blower motor we needed to get the furnace running (and he had pulled a 21-hr day). Fantastic experience. Woke up to a cold house 4 in the morning, had no idea what happened since furnace was working. After calling Furnaceguys I felt confident upon my furnace getting fixed. They were confident and had someone on their way pretty much immediately. This was also during the -50 weather so I could understand they must've still been busy. The person who came was very professional, told me everything that was going on at all times and made sure I saw and understood it. Long story short the intake for my furnace was frozen, one quick tap fixed it immediately and he went to make sure it was all still working downstairs. Our furnace quit on us in the middle of the night on saturday I called them Sunday morning and arrange to have them over Monday morning. Within an hour of showing up I was told it was the circuit board that needed replaced and was told the cost. It made more sense to replace the furnace at this time. They actually showed up the next morning because one of them was worried our carbon monoxide detector wasnt working properly and brought a replacement for it. Several days into extreme cold, our furnace stopped working. Although the part we needed was not a common one and certainly not available at midnight, he was able to get our boiler to run overnight so the house didn’t freeze. As always Dennis and his guys where extremely helpful and got my new furnace installed the Monday after I called on Saturday!!! His guy came out on Sunday determined the problem gave me quotes on the different options I was looking at and they showed up the next day to install the furnace!!! Now I don’t know what kind of service your used too but I have never been treated better and with a fair price too boot!!! This is the third time I have used the Furnaceguys receiving the same service every time! If your in need of an a/c unit, furnace repair or replacement you don’t need to look any further! The owner Dennis is honest fair and tells it straight! As for his team they where fast, professional, knowledgeable and clean. By far the best heating and cooling company in Saskatoon! Last word I was also 30 mins out of town!

Excellent service. Woke up on Easter long weekend at 5AM with no heat as the furnace was not firing up. I phoned Furnace Guys and was contacted by Neb. He walked me through some steps on the phone and then came and checked the furnace out. Would highly recommend this company

Had a smell of burning plastic coming from our furnace registers, continued for three furnace cycles and then went away. Called Furnace Guys and they gave us the option of sending someone immediately or waiting until morning. As a morning inspection was quoted as much cheaper and the smell had gone away, opted for a morning appointment. The technician showed up promptly in the AM. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, he didn't find anything while performing a very thorough inspection. At the end of the day, was charged for a basic service and got peace of mind that our furnace isn't about to unexpectedly quit. Very pleased.

Not a good experience! Someone came out to do an estimate and never heard back from them! I tried to contact them 1 weeks after the estimate, 3 days after that, 3 days after that and than a week later! I finally went with someone else. I also didn't like that he tried to give me a run for my money! I made the mistake by telling him I know nothing about furnaces, AC's or duct work. After I had a real professional come in, the amount they estimated the work that needed to be done was less than half of what he said needed to be done AND less than half the price... The only good thing I have to say about them is that when I first called, he was able to come out right away to do an estimate.
