Les suivis ont été bons par contre, on m'a découragé dès le premier appel et en moins de 24h on m'a informé qu'aucun entrepreneur était intéressé à réglé notre urgence. Alors on n'a pas perdu trop de temps.

We had Horrible experience. and lost more than 500$ because of them. We asked estimation for our bathroom, so we could get renovation mortgage. They give elstimation based on size and situation and they told us it should cover more than everything. We got renovation mortgage and after they send us real people to estimate, and they give us 6000-7000$ more than the first estimation. Of course we do not have extra 6000$-7000$ when it was already a lot of money. And finally they told us they forgot to caluculate cost of floor. We paid CMHC insurance abour 500$ for the renovation part 16000$. and started to pay interest for more than a month. and ended up not getting renovation and they cannot do anything about it. Poor estimation service. I am really not happy about the service. To answer the comment below, We asked for estimation, but the person who we talked said his estimation should be enough to get money from bank. We had no time to wait until we get house because it was renovation mortgage (getting renovation cost added to mortgage so estimation had to be done before we get house.) We still could ask previous owner to let us do real estimation but the person from reno assistance said it is not nessesary.

Les problèmes sont à plusieurs niveaux: incompréhension du projet; multiple obligation de relancer le conseiller pour avoir des soumissions/suivis; présentation d'un entrepreneur qui était capable de faire 25% du projet et aucune option pour le 75% restant; après insistance et 1,5 mois de délais j’ai eu de brèves discutions avec un autre entrepreneur qui pouvait faire 100%, mais qui a reçu les plans d'un autre projet et qui demandait 3 semaines supplémentaires pour faire une soumission vers la fin avril (dommage il était pourtant très intéressé à notre projet); courriel le 1er avril pour m'informer que personne n'est intéressé à notre projet et souhaits de bonne chance. En gros 2 mois de délais pour finir en queue de poisson et devoir se retourner rapidement de bord dans un marché en ébullition. Par chance, ayant de l'expérience, je n'ai heureusement pas tout misé sur Réno-Assistance dans ma recherche d'entrepreneur. Imaginez commencer le processus de recherche en ce magnifique début d'avril. Je crois sincèrement en l'idée et la pertinence de ce service et je n'ai aucun problème à ce que l'entrepreneur charge au client la commission demandé par Réno-Assistance pour offrir ce service de référencement, mais un service de qualité doit être au rendez-vous!

Worst experience ever. For an entire home reno project, they referred a below par contractor. We had issues all along the way. 5 months later, it is finally over with. I had the misfortune of having my kitchen renovation done by one of their “trusted and verified” contractors who was a liar, took shortcuts and failed to disclose all product information about the Miralis cabinets they sold me. The paint on my walls peeled off showing no primer was ever used. Paint and plaster chipped off, 2 coats of paint were never applied and they never returned to finish touch ups. My Shaker cabinet doors and drawers are not a uniform white colour and I’m being asked to dish out more money to get white cabinets that match. The quotations you receive from Reno Assistance are over inflated to cover the hidden charge or commission they end up receiving. I would consider a commission be acceptable provided they refer decent contractors and help resolve issues that arise. Reno Assistance provided absolutely no added value and left me a very costly renovation nightmare rather than a dream kitchen. Never again! Your reply, Reno Assistance, to my post is a lie. You provided solutions??? You provided the problematic contractor. The only solution I was presented with was to pay more money to replace my sub quality cabinets or take them to court. This is what you consider everyone’s effort? I’m sorry I ever did business with Reno Assistance. Never again!!!

Reno - Zero Assistance Called 12 days ago and was in touch with a representative named Francis. The project was for a complete bathroom renovation, wall removal and hardwood floors on the main floor. I had not heard anything after a few days, called back and was assured that the project is being shopped around. I have completed several renovations in the past (even using expensive designers) and each time, had negative experiences with the contractors. Decided to try RenoAssistance.
