Justin of Cirtech cvac, quickly found the problem with our heat pump. It was a burned out capacitor and after replacement he again tested all the components. Justin advised me that the contactor also showed signs of pitting and blackened terminals. He advised me up front, the cost to change each item, so each was replaced. This company came through for me in a heatwave. I called several companies and never received the outstanding service that I got from this company. The technician Shan went out of his way to clean my unit because of the heatwave. Under normal circumstances this would have been a second appointment. The client representative Annik was so professional, empathetic and courteous. This service is exceptional. I have a Hitachi wall unit and trying to find someone to service this unit was very difficult until I found them. Thank you!!!!! ????????????

The technicians came and assessed the problem they were very clear on what needed to be done and gave me a clear quote I then made an appointment to do the repairs . when they came they took all the necessary safety precautions due to covid for safety. they were efficient and very polite when interacting with me and I would highly recommend using their service,I know I will in the future!!! now my house is nice and cool and everything is working great!! Worst service experience of my entire life. I don’t know if I should be laughing or crying about it. I only want my AC repaired. I now have to contact another company. Airkatek seems good. A little more pricy but at least the job will get done. Called Monday June 7th to book appointment. Got an appointment for Monday June 14th between 8 and 11 AM. At that point, I was happy! I called 2 other places that had availability but later that week so decided to go with the earliest appointment as summer is off to a hot start! They said I would receive a confirmation before, never got that.. so I called Friday June 11th at 5:30 PM. I thought it would be closed but it actually says 24/7 everywhere (Google, Website etc) so I called. Stayed on the line for about 30 minutes… had someone on the line who seemed to know absolutely nothing about the company/appointments, nothing … but he said he would have someone call me back as soon as possible to confirm appointment. Monday June 14th 8:45 AM. Still no call so I call to confirm my appointment and they say for some reason it was set to between 2 to 5PM. I said ok no big deal, I am working remote… just have to tough another morning without AC. And then 1:30 PM, I receive a call and I thought they were going to tell me they would be there soon… but no. It’s actually Cory, the manager?, who calls and says they won’t be able to come as they have too many requests from their members right now. I say okay …so tomorrow instead? Still I would have been okay with that.. I can understand. Even if it had been later in the week but he says « I can’t guarantee anything at this point, we might not be able to come this week at all. » That is when I understood their business model, which is: give a first appointment with a shorter delay than competitors and then push the appointment (no appointment) to later… Now I have no AC for at least another 2 week… ridiculous!

I'm very happy and impressed with this business: they have been all that you hope for when dealing with an AC/heat pump installation. The customer service has been exceptional, from initial contact and appointment set up to the choice of system, installation, billing department - everyone has been helpful, professional, reliable and friendly. They would be a good model for other companies to emulate.

(Translated) Cirtech CVAC provides very poor customer service. First, it is indicated 24/7 when we have difficulty reaching them during normal working hours. Then, they make us make an appointment a week in advance, and then cancel the same day 30 minutes before the appointment without being able to promise another replacement date! The company makes potential customers if it has the time but otherwise it's okay we will cancel last minute. I absolutely do not recommend this company. (Original) Cirtech CVAC offre un très mauvais service à la clientèle. Premièrement, c'est indiqué 24/7 alors qu'on a de la difficulté à les rejoindre dans les heures de travail normal. Ensuite, il nous font prendre un rendez-vous une semaine à l'avance, pour ensuite canceller la journée même 30 minutes avant le rendez-vous sans pour autant être en mesure de promettre une autre date de remplacement! L'entreprise se commet des clients potentiels en cas qu'elle ait le temps mais sinon c'est pas grave on va annuler dernière minute. Je ne recommande absolument pas cette entreprise.

Excellent company and really excellent service. They were able to come quite quickly during the fall heating season when all HVAC companies are really busy. After few delays Justin of Cirtech cvac, performed the initial assessment of the heat pump and indicated to me that the problem is related to a very small leak. His recommendation was to add the missing refrigerant and schedule the next visit with Cory Ross to repair the leak. He didn't perform leak test during his first visit. As recommended by Justin I contacted Cory to schedule the next visit and to provide me with estimate for the work to be performed. After number of phone calls and email requesting estimate finally one day before the scheduled technician's visit I received an email with partial estimate . The attached estimate copied from his email: "I want to confirm that we will be passing by tomorrow in the afternoon between 1-5pm. It is very difficult to provide an estimate on the service that we are performing tomorrow. However, here is what you are looking at: • Nitrogen leak search – approx. $280 • Recover Refrigerant – approx. $220" This estimate didn't include reinstallation of the refrigerant and any repairs to the system. The invoice for the first service to add 3 lbs. of refrigerant was over $300. Below is my response to email from Cory: " I am surprised that your technician is planning to recover the refrigerant before performing the leak test using electronic leak tester or soap bubble test on the charged system. The nitrogen test is typically performed when system lost all the refrigerant. Please ask your technician to call me and clearly explain how he is planning to perform this work." Apparently Cory doesn't work for Cirtech anymore and Justin failed to follow up with proper explanation. My impression is that the proposed work just opportunity to overcharge customer to a tune of at least $500.
