There's nothing "Super Ian" couldn't do! From a small hand-made wooden gate, to wall-to-ceiling subway tile backsplash, to installing a custom-built floating credenza, to plumbing and electrical, there's no job too small or too big for Ian. Ian was meticulous about the quality of his work, never rushed never settled. You would be very happy and lucky if you could get him to take on your home renovation projects! We recommend him without any reservation!

Ian renovated the bathroom in our parent's home. He updated it from an old & 'in need of repair' bathroom to a modern & stylish one. He was very professional & knowledgable. The completed bathroom looks like something from a magazine. During the renovation, he offered my brother helpful tips on other smaller renovations. Ian also took an outdated back step (original from the 1950's) & made it into a small wooden deck with steps. It looks fantastic & modern. My siblings & I highly recommend Ian for any renovation work. He does an excellent job.

Ian saved our renovation experience! We were new in the community without any references for contractors. We went through a few before finding Ian. He is practical and knowledgeable and extremely skilled. When there is an obstacle he offers solutions, doesn’t just say something can’t be done. He recommends a few solutions that are practical. His work is meticulous and on budget every step of the way. Some jobs in our renovation he worked by the hour as they were tough to estimate. Sometimes this leads to anxiety wondering if the person will be productive. Not with Ian. He is extremely honest and we couldn’t be happier to have found him. We are back in Ottawa now doing a renovation. And we only wish that Ian could travel this far to help us.

We have had quite a few jobs completed by Ian and we have been more than happy with them all. Ian did a full basement kitchen installation, stone fireplace refacing as well as some smaller jobs like a dishwasher installation, new bathroom sink and bathroom fan upgrade. He has also laid flooring for us and built a couple walls and a closet. We have used Ian as our “go-to guy”. For a few years now and couldn’t be more grateful that we found someone hardworking and trustworthy to complete projects beyond our ability in our home.

Ian is a wizard! He guided us through a large renovation by single handedly co-ordinating with engineers for structural design, building permits with the city, and communicating with the kitchen supplier. Ian is incredibly professional & organized. Every detail was clearly presented in his estimates, and when hiccups in the plans happened he was able to offer several different solutions. He made us feel really comfortable during this process, and brought our vision to life. Ian’s workmanship is next to none. He is meticulous in his work and does not cut corners. We’ve had several compliments from friends, family and tradespeople saying how detailed he is in his craft, including HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry and finish carpentry. We lived in our home throughout the 4 month-down-to-the-studs renovation with our 3 young kids & 2 dogs. Ian became a fixture in our family—always patient with the hundreds of questions the kids asked, all while making sure it was safe for us to live in our home, and working around us. Ian has done quite a few jobs for us. He removed walls, installed ceiling lights and installed entrance way and kitchen floors, ceiling repairs, etc. He is very detail oriented, works quickly and is pleasant to have around your house.
