We are very happy with their work. They were quick and efficient. The color of the shingles we provided were wrong so while the guys took a break the administrative assistant actually came by and dropped off the correct color. The shingles have been on for a year now and they still look great. Would recommend. Only complaint is pick up after yourselves guys! There were a few ropes left behind on the roof, along with garbage from their lunch on our lawn.

These guys were beyond our SAVIOURS!! We are the Parry Sound area and had some very bad experiences with local contractors either not showing up or ripping us off. I called these guys, they not only communicated regularly they were prompt, professional, friendly and beyond what we expected! They answered every question and talked to us through the project. Jason, Frank, Mike…and their amazing crew that even our dog loved - knew what had happened to us and literally dropped everything to get us done. Our roof looks amazing and we will be happily spreading their name around this area and others!!

I highly recommend JN roofing. Competitive pricing, great warranty, beautiful when done, but most importantly excellent communication throughout the entire process. They delivered on time and no extra charges from quote price. Jason was upfront and honest during the quote process and thoroughly explained everything that would happen. We had other companies quote, but felt that JN was a quality service and product that justified spending a bit more on this long-term home investment, but the roof still came in cheaper than other quotes we received! The crew left the property in good shape and we've already had neighbors telling us how good the roof looks. All in all, we're very happy with our new roof from JN roofing!

Wow! Quite the team! When first calling JN Roofing & Contracting, Jennifer kindly assisted me by coordinating and keeping on top of, the admin steps involved in getting my new roof. Frank in Sales examined my roof and then educated me on what’s involved in building an attractive and long-lasting roof. Frank was great! and was always available to answer my specific roofing questions. On “Roofing Day” team leader Mike and his large team of friendly, hard working roofers had my roof done just before noon. The crew at JN Roofing ripped the old roof, replaced some soft plywood, replaced all of the flashings, installed the underlay and the new shingles, cleaned everything up and were done in one day. The workmanship was outstanding and the clean up was excellent. Everything that was quoted to me was completed and there were no extra surprise costs at the end. Received a few quotes from various companies and JN Roofing was about mid-range. Happy with the overall installation time and quality. I have an area where the fireplace exhaust comes out that is covered by bricking. We had water damage there in the past, and I asked how much to cover it with shingles to make sure it was sealed properly. I was told that it would be a few hundred bucks and received a final quote. I didn't see this as listed as part of the quote; however, I followed-up with the company and they confirmed it was part of the overall price. On the day they were installing the roof, I came home to check in on the process. I noticed they hadn't started the work around the fireplace exhaust, so I mentioned this to the owner. I went inside and could hear him explaining it to the crew and they started work on it. I then returned to work for the remainder of the day. When I came home that evening, I had to step out and they were about 95% done the work. I decided to give them the certified cheque in full which was a mistake. They removed the metal that was laying over top of the bricking by the fireplace exhaust and had left the brick exposed. I then received a message that it was going to cost more and wanted to know how I would like to move forward. I was not happy about this due to water issues in the basement in the past. I mentioned that I would like the area done ASAP as I had paid in full. Weeks passed with no resolution and they always seemed to be 'coming tomorrow'. I eventually expressed my frustration to the owner and we negotiated a cost for the remainder of work that needed to be completed, and I was refunded. I feel that if I didn't give them the certified cheque when I did, they would have been back the next morning to finish the work. On their website, they also advertise that people who refer their services will be rewarded. I had a friend refer me, I mentioned it, this person got nothing. They also say that you can put a sign on your lawn to receive a small credit for advertising their company, I said it was fine and to go ahead with it - they did not put up the sign or give me the credit. Overall, happy with the work, but the experience could have been a lot better. I feel like the company could have been more proactive in resolving the issues that came up.

I contacted four roofing companies about getting my shingles replaced. I was pleased that Jason came by my home personally and sent me a quote that evening. The price was about mid-range of the four quotes I'd received and I felt it was good value. It was late in the season but JN Roofing was able to do the job in early December. The crew was efficient and left the yard very clean of debris. Recently I had some water leaking in the attic and called Jason, asking if he could help. The next day a guy came and replaced the defective vent and Jason called me to explain what had happened. I was please at how he resolved the issue.

I had a very positive experience with JN Roofing; from the initial visit and quote preparation by Frank, the scheduling of the job with Jennifer (and subsequent rescheduling due to chimney replacement being delayed by other contractor) to the arrival on site by Jason, Frank, Brandon and crew. The new roof, with vents, was completed in 1 day. My home is a century-old farmhouse with a very steep pitched roof. Brandon and his crew followed all safety protocols with fall gear and PPE. This was extremely important to my peace of mind. The grounds were left free of debris and as found upon arrival. The crew was very respectful of property and sincere that the job was done to my satisfaction. I highly recommend JN Roofing.

They did a good job on the roof. I complained a few things were missed and they sent some people to rectify the issue, this was after I had paid them, which was good. I had a very complex and expensive roof to do with two layers on most sections. JN was the middle quote, and I was impressed with the end product. I have one point of contention: no final quality check was done on the roof, I had to find the missing elements. When you are doing a guarantee of 50 years, you think you would want to do a final inspection. I can't climb or see certain parts of the roof, so I just have to assume they were done properly. The roof has not leaked.

I am very satisfied with the JN roofing company. Here are some of the reasons for my positive review. The initial contact where they checked my roof condition they explained how they came to the quote given to me and the materials they used for installation, also advised me to get quotes from other companies (shows a confidence that I respect). As the day approached they advised me of possible weather conditions for a delay in installation, but do to their fortitude they completed the task on time. My spouse and I are dog owners and appreciated the diligence it which they cleaned up any loose material and nails from the perimeter.

I can't say enough about JN Roofing. A windstorm lifted a large patch of shingles off my roof and I reached out to 3 companies for quotes to get the repair done as quickly as possible. One company responded 24 hours later, one never responded, but Jason got back to me within the hour with all the info I needed so I hired him. His roofer, Matthew came as soon as the weather settled, was very polite and respectful and did a thorough repair of the roof and cleaned up afterwords. I couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend JN Roofing and will have them back to do the work when my roof needs replacing within the next year or so.

This is a great company, very professional and great the job done in efficient manners. We had our 12 unit condo corporation . They started Tuesday worked till dark cleaning up continually. They romoved the old roof and replaced with a beautiful new roof. They finished the complete job the following day at 2:30z the propert was cleaned and they left. My husband and I would 100% recommend JN Roofing and Contracting to anyone who has storm damage to their roof and for roof installation. We experienced water coming in our home after a storm in August - after having a "roof specialist" come and inspect our roof from the insurance company, we contacted JN roofing for a second opinion. To start, Frank from JN roofing was so great to deal with - he came out to give an estimate and actually did a thorough roof inspection. Because he listened, we were able to actually find the source of the leak and he was quick to provide a quote and time frame to repair to ensure we had no further damage. He also provided specific recommendations to seal the roof until a crew could come out for a repair and installation of new shingles. We were lucky to have our installation date moved up and were so impressed with the process from start to finish. We live in a large bungalow - another home on our street took 3 days for a new roof with another company, ours was done in 1 day (9 hours to be specific) because they brought a big crew that worked so efficiently together. This was amazing because it didn't impact me working from home over many days. The guys were so professional and clean up was fantastic - they even covered over our garage doors and AC unit to prevent any damage that could occur from shingles coming off the roof. WHAT AN AMAZING TEAM!!! Absolutely would recommend J&N Roofing and Contracting to anyone looking to have work done on their house. Mike Jackson was by far the most knowledgeable, respectful and professional individual we had quote us on our Roof. JN Roofing helped me with no notice when I had a bad case of ice damming causing leaking into my house. They cleared the roof (which had knee deep snow and three or four inches of ice) in an hour. I can only imagine how much damage they prevented! Highly recommend them.

I hired Jason's company , (JN Roofing) , to strip and reshingle my roof in June, 2019. His employee's did a fantastic job.They were extremely professional and polite. They did a great job cleaning up after removing the old shingles. In February, 2020, we noticed a small wet spot in the attic area. I contacted Jason and explained the problem. He arranged to have two of his employees on-site within an hour of my call with full equipment and repaired the small hole where the shingles and dormer ridge vent met. Not only did JN Roofing do a terrific job initially, but they obviously stand behind their work. Their advertising slogan, "We give roofers a good name" most certainly fits. I highly recommend JN Roofing to anyone needing roof work. Thanks Jason, Mike, Rob and the rest of the crew.

Jason and his team arrived as expected on a day that was suspect with rain in the forecast. After a short conversation about the rain not being a big factor he assembled his team of 9 professionals and briefed them on the job at hand. Like a choreographed ensemble they all worked diligently to complete a large roof in about 7 hours. The clean up ensued with all hands on deck,and left as quickly as they arrived with a total re and re of a roof. The job was great and enhanced the appearance of our home. He was very professional, communicated and fulfilled all expectations for this homeowner. The best experience with a roofing company so far. This was my second time having to replace a roof on a home, and I can honestly say the professionalism and team that came were exceptional. They were thorough, courteous, and efficient. Not only that, they were finished in a day and made sure they picked up any debris that had fallen when the removing the old shingles.
