We cannot recommend J C Contracting enough. Jesse and his team worked very hard to finish our 1300 square foot basement as well as renovating our main upstairs bathroom in a timely fashion. We initially reached out to several different contracting companies in Barrie and the GTA. However, after speaking to all parties and receiving several quotes, we found Jesse’s company to be thorough, fair in price, and relatively quick in terms of timeline. We found those working for the company to be very detail-oriented, helpful and kind. Additionally, with the pandemic in full-swing, they were great about wearing their masks when coming and going from the house as well as impeccable at tidying at the end of the work day. Jesse was very easy to communicate with and went above and beyond in making sure that we were happy with the work and products.The showroom has a lot of choices in terms of flooring, tile, vanities, etc. - and we found all options to be modern and of excellent quality. Additionally, something small that we very much appreciated was that the products seemed to be locally sourced, for example, the fixtures were delivered by a local hardware and building centre from Barrie. From planning, to choosing fixtures, to installation, to communication and clean up - we found this company to be stellar. Jesse and his team were thorough and the workmanship was very impressive. We are very happy to recommend this great company, and will be calling Jesse for any future projects we have.

These guys absolutely know what they are doing. They took on a large reno project of combining two bedrooms into one new master bedroom and left an environment suited for royalty. No matter how dusty and dirty the area became each day, they cleaned up spotless each night before they left. Suggestions along the way helped us make good decisions that have enhanced our new bedroom. Even after the job was completed, they have continued to be there when a few items still needed attending too along the way. If you are fortunate to have Shane run the job, you will not be disappointed.

Jesse, Jeff, Trevor and crew are fantastic. We were looking to have someone finish our basement and being in real estate - I know what a make or break it can be when you hire the wrong contractor. Jesse kept us in the loop, showed up on the days they said they would and were ALWAYS on time. A quality that is very hard to find with many contractors and was so appreciated. Jesse and his team were amazing to work with. We were able to come up with a plan where we were able to do some of the work to cut down the cost and Jesse's team tackled the big items! We fully renovated our main floor with structural walls coming down, beams going up and moving a bathroom. The team always left a clean area, kept us up to date when they would be there and did amazing work. Jesse even took the time to make sure we loved everything including the colour of the beam, when first delivered he did not think it was the colour we wanted, he let us take a look and re stained it for us and it looks amazing!!! We would have Jesse and his team back for future projects.

We recently hired JC Unlimited to complete a bathroom renovation. The project entailed reconfiguring two bathrooms into one larger bathroom complete with a combination tub/shower (with glass doors), 60 inch vanity, toilet, pot lights and heated tile floor. Additionally, new doors and upgraded trim were installed in the hallway and bathroom to match the trim and doors on the main level of our home. Jesse met with us a few times prior to the renovation to discuss options for our consideration and provided detailed estimates based on the options under consideration. We are very pleased with the outcome - the bathroom looks great! This is the second time we have had Jesse and his team work in our home. Based on our first experience, we did not hesitate to engage his services for the most recent project and we would not hesitate to recommend Jesse’s services to others. Jesse and his team did an amazing job putting our house back together after a flood. Dealing with insurance companies are never easy, but Jesse assisted in any way he could, including writing multiple quotes required by the insurance company. The kitchen was completely rebuilt down to replacing the subfloor damaged by water. JC Unlimited contracting was able to do all areas of our rebuild, including full kitchen design, painting, trim and a custom bar built in the basement. All members of his team were extremely efficient and provided beautiful workmanship. Jesse went beyond what we could have hoped for. In the end, he stayed an extra day to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you for helping us through this difficult time. I will only use JC unlimited contracting for any future renovations and would highly recommend to friends.
