We are very happy with our basement renovations. Below first estimate, with our help of cleaning and painting. Took a lot longer to finish then expected but finished product is beautiful. Tradesmen were EXCELLENT!!!

Alair did a complete renovation to our family cottage. The design phase was completely transparent, and educational. They use a online portal where our whole family could review and approve every cost. It allowed us to accurately plan and budget for construction. Once Construction started, Ryan, Albert and our Project Manager Matt, were attentive to every detail, and put our family at ease with their extensive experience. We have recommended them to our friends, and very happy we made the right decision.

We built an extension on our existing bungalow as we needed the extra space for our growing family. Albert and Ryan designed something to fit our budget, which we loved. Though we had some challenges in Construction which they explained to us is to be expected, they had planned for it in our budget. This allowed our Project Manager Jocelyn to overcome the challenges without compromising anything else on our build. We would highly recommend Alair Homes.

ALAIR HOMES BARRIE came in with a responsive and affordable quote and began the work effort to finish our basement almost immediately. They use a very transparent budgeting tool that allows us to see the costing as the work progresses and when new features are requested to be added into the quote by us (customer) the total is updated to reflect the new total costs. This combined with their ability to add photos or product pictures, simplifies and keeps the process honest and informative. The teams of trades persons that Ryan sent for all the activities (HVAC, Carpentry, lighting, drywall, stone work) were all excellent at their trade and the results are clearly superior. We are very pleased with the results. Special thanks to Kal for his incredible carpentry work...he worked full days and was very focused! Great results, excellent online tools, friendly and respectful team. We will recommend them to our friends and family for sure. Very glad we called Alair Homes!

We hired Alair Barrie to enlarge our garage doors, 3 singles to an oversized double and a single with an overall clearance of 8ft. The team was amazing, from our initial discussions with Ryan to get contracts in place to working with our PM on a daily basis. Jocelyn (our PM) was an absolute pleasure to work with, she looked after everything for us. She had put together a great team, provided us with updates throughout the project and took the care of all the details as if it was her own house being worked on. Highly recommend Alair and would definitely work with them again.

Alair Homes Barrie have just completed a three season room addition and kitchen and powder room renovation at our home in Alliston. Despite COVID-19 restrictions making any kind of construction project challenging, Alair was able to complete the project safely with minimal delays. The end product is exactly what we had envisioned and requested. Our project manager , Jocelyn, was absolutely amazing. She listened intently to our ideas, helped to focus our design suggestions, kept us up to date and informed multiple times daily on project progress, and visited the site regularly to ensure things ran smoothly. She was incredibly available and made this renovation very bearable, including dismantling a present kitchen to replace it with our dream kitchen. She was respectful of our time and opinions, kept us informed of our budget consistently so we stayed within it, and most of all tried her very best to ensure we were not inconvenienced any more than necessary. I cannot imagine the project without Jocelyn - truly an amazing professional , as were the whole Alair team. The three season room is stunning - wood burning stone fireplace, cathedral pine ceiling, large windows overlooking the garden , shiplap, and incorporates a painted former exterior brick wall for an overall cozy yet modern space. It looks beautiful from inside and outside. We use it just about every evening. We also updated our living room fireplace and powder room. Our home has had a facelift and we couldn't be more pleased. I would highly recommend Alair Homes Barrie if you are looking to build an addition or renovate - they were amazing to work with and delivered as promised. Thanks so much Alair!
